JTS Airacuda and Airacuda Max Introductions

It’s proven that China can make some quality products if the right manufacturing facility is chosen. JTS apparently has a USA facility that (I’m assuming) will do quality control on the parts as they come in. As Manny(6600) stated the Huben is made in China and is built like a tank, much like some of the eastern bloc airguns. I own 2 of them and have not had any issues. If a company that uses China mfg implements the proper quality control, you won’t be able to tell if the product was made in the US or China.

So I was asked to run a regulated creep test on the MAX

Filled it yesterday to 200 BAR and let her sit for more then 24 hours,

I know nothing about regulated guns so you tell me if this is good or not.

My comment was based purely on price, not quality. I bought my Marauders in 2010 and 2015, and I hadn't heard anything about them not being made in the US. Again, as my comment was not related to quality, let us return the conversation to the guns at hand.

Price, quality and features where exactly the reason I made the comparison,

For way less you get way more :)

Good way to reel people in with the rumor of Made in the US, and lots of people still believe that,...great marketing.

All Maruaders are assembled outside Rochester NY. Some parts are made in China, and other countries, including the US. The syn stock, breech, air tube, and barrels are made here. Far as I last knew. Outside of Air Force, not sure if there are any other airguns in this price range that can claim "Assembled in USA".

From what has been reported on these Pre-production Airacuda's, they do sound promising in both construction and performance for price. Performance with small mods looks very good. I look forward to seeing a China gun with full parts support here in the States. I have given up on Nova Vista. I wish Travis and all the dealers that will carry them, success.

Plus there was another thread in another forum that a jts rep early in the thread certainly made it sound like these guns were made in Texas in a post. So I agree, great marketing 🤣

Anxiously awaiting these to be released, so i called JTS to get an idea. I was told by a very nice lady with JTS that now (due to shipping delays, etc.), June is the earliest to expect them to be available here. She told me that JTS was in the process of preparing a new website strictly for the airacuda line and it should be up and running in a few months.

I thought I would share what i was told if anyone is interested. I’m sure this could also be subject to change. I’m also sure threre is someone out there who knows more details than i.
