The story starts with a vintage tube radio I wanted to sell.

I met guy through a friend of mine. My friend told me this gentleman also was into airguns.

He wanted a old working tube radio from me so he came over to my house to check it out.

Since he was a airgun enthusiast and a airgun collector, I showed him a number of the guns in my collection. Pulling out his phone, he started showing pictures of his. After showing his picture's
He told me "All of your guns are junk" That he would never own".

He only owned a few top-tier spring-piston rifles and a number of pcp guns.

I was dumbfounded. I couldn't believe what I just heard. I'm glad most of us aren't like this. Some people huh???

So that ended that friendship before it began. And I told him I'd be keeping my radio. Showing him to my door.

Going to have to thank my friend haha.20230314_163822.jpg

Amazing. Some people's kids!
I have had the misfortune of meeting a few folks like that. Always leaves me dumbfounded.
I am so glad you did not go through with the sale of your radio. Nice radio by the way.
Best of luck selling it.

Good on you, sir🎩🤙

That looks like a sweet radio! I have heard that those style of radios had very good reception. Old stuff is good stuff!
Mechanical or Electrical… What are your thoughts?
steve123
I have both.

A small and lightweight 12" E saw is nice for some purposes and so is a tool called the Jawsaw by WorkX. The Jawsaw works great for trimming and for not having to bend over to cut sub 4" wood on the ground.

The big gas saw is needed for most purposes like getting firewood.

When I bought my property I wanted a portion of a poorly/stupidly/awefully built house which wasn't compliant with our county codes demolished but part of the end of the house was made of brick and in good shape which later became my workshop.
So I literally cut the bad part of the house in two starting at the foundation from one side all the way to the other side with my chainsaw. This prevented any possible damage caused by the excavator when it pulled away the offending side of the house.
I also cut the framing and beams apart to use as firewood.

I’ll give up my Echo 2 cycle when they pry it from my cold dead hand.

Mechanical. Sick of all this green save the earth but isn’t as efficient or work as well BS.
I am very proud to post that I have finally received my first Patent: 11,541, 339 It's taken 4 years (Thanks C-Virus) and a couple back and forth with the Patent Office but I have the document.
I'm in discussions to get it produced and hopefully on the market later this year.
Here is a link to my website with a few videos. www.keep-it-klean.net/media
It was on Motorhead Garage, which aired on Motortrend TV, MAVTV, and a couple others.

Fingers crossed.

Was showing my co worker your invention, really sweet. Can it be used on shop vac filters? Congratulation!
Smitty911
L.Leon,
Most shopvac filters I've seen are Paper media. The paper ones tend to start falling apart once they get wet. I believe there are a couple vacuum filter that can be cleaned.

I hear ya Luis. I have kids and grandkids here that refuse to get off the coutch and away from their video games to help shovel. But boy can they be demanding when they need something. So my wife and I (almost 80 yo) will be doing this shoveling till we drop dead in the drive. Even then the kids won't care except to wonder what we left them in the will. So I think I'll buy me another air rifle!
L.Leon
Though they won’t help with the shoveling, you and your wife are blessed to be grandparents.
Took a little time to spend exercising the trigger finger today in prep for the NorthEastAirgunClassic. I am pretty excited just to be a part of this event. I personally don’t have huge expectations on the outcome for myself. I think if I can learn from the pros and other sportsman class shooters, it will be money and time well spent. Just to be in the airgun world is an honor in itself not to mention the company I will be surrounded by.
At the end of my session, I came away feeling really good with my progress with the M3. I do indeed love this gun.

So after owning my M3 since May of 2022, I have FINALLY worked on tuning it. I know, it’s sacrilege to buy something like that and not use it right away. Honestly I was a bit intimidated by the regs and knobs and adjusters here and there, after shooting much more simple PCP’s from AEA and Benjamin. Well today I put on my big boy pants. Final settings on the Impact M3 Sniper 700 .25 cal are as follows. Please let me know if this seems off or if it seems right.
1st Reg: 158 bar
2nd Rg: 135 bar
Macro: 16
Micro: I’ll call it 4.1
Valve: 3.5-3.75 lines.
I’m sorry I waited so long to shoot this wonderful rifle. She is tuned to shoot the FX/JSB 34 grain pellets. Photos are a 15 shot group at 27 yards for starters. I can’t wait to stretch it out a bit further. My comfort zone is about 75 yards at the moment with my other rifles. Baby steps to 100 yards.
