majority of time when hunting squirrels I use the 25 but I also have used the 22 when I know the area will offer shots less than 50 yds. It Is a mater of range for me

The clear ring pops off but I like it better with it on there. I dripped some clear acrylic glue along it's seams to keep it in place when I cock the rifle. I still hate how it looks but it works too good to take off.

Yea Ron, you are correct. I have both the Weihrauch and a couple of the Truglos. The Truglos are brighter and the FO is a smaller dia. The only thing the Weihrauch has going for it is it's metal. They tie in the goofy category, although the truglo is a bigger sight.

Up to some more tricks. Valve version 4.0. This time I was able to reuse the stem I made but remade the end cap. This time with enough room for a cobra chamber. So this added two more o rings . The cobra chamber or “air spring” has a .052 vent and is roughly 1cc ,minus the area of the valve stem going through it. Give or take . I’m still going through the tuning but so far is much better that the stiff valve return spring I was using. I’m shooting for about 35 ft/lbs or 790fps with 25 grain JSB’s. I already have a heavy hitting 25 cal ( Leshiy 2) . Pics are of the parts disassembled and complete as drop in. I’m also still running the 7075 aluminum hammer and after three tins of pellets shows no signs of wear. Thanks for that tip Motorhead.

The .25 and .30 mandrels were ordered today. Should have barrels tested and in production within 8 weeks. .22 are available now.

Too true! I know this too well. I rarely shoot pellets, I often prefer to shoot slugs, unless the gun just doesn't have the power to shoot them fast enough to expand or accurately.

I had the RAW TM1000X .177 ( just cleaned barrel ) with me this morning. Wind was light and I just had my Randolph front mechanical rest cleaned and now have the horizontal windage knob actually 'working.' This is good because before it would not work and I would constantly pick up my rear Protektor bag and move horizontally from bull to bull. I knew this was inefficient but underestimated how problematic it is for getting adjusted for each shot. Now, I just use the knob and can move left or right across the row I am shooting.

Well, I offered to send the gun back for a full refund, at my expense, they have gone silent.
So, I'll keep heating the bottles and eventually the loctite will break loose.
I'll put my CF tanks on and save the Aluminum bottles for the CPSC if they want them.
But a brilliant policy, Safety pfft, so what if we knew, you have to pay for us to fix our mistakes.

What kind of idjit puts loctite on the bottles?

Mine was very accurate out to 75 yards with cheap Crossman pellets shooting at 850fps but groups were tighter with JSB. I don't recall what weight though.
I did have some POI shift but minimized that with a barrel band. I had to experiment wth placement though. It was most effective at about an inch from the forearm.

Barrel length doesn't determine accuracy but efficiency by not having to use higher reg pressure to get to your FPS, but i would go 25.

From previous comments I believe the preferred Athlon Heras is one that has really fine reticle markings, like .2 mil. That makes sense to me because scope adjustment is not permitted in hunter class. Scott said SFP so the choice then is which reticle. I believe the preferred reticle may be APSR7.

Otherwise the pressure will push the cylinders away from the block and transfer port and you'll see a huge drop in fps. Worst case is that the cylinders become dangerous projectiles (luckily I figured this out in time!).
