Impulse Air IA-1350 moderator test 2, muzzle dB

In reality if the gun doesn't have a shroud will be difficult to have it silent.. because it will need a big ass can with felt on ir like the old donny used to be .. I don't know anyone doing cans like that anymore.. I would gladly post the pictures but is not allowed..🤣 .. depending on the pop produced by your valve it might need a 8" by 2" old stile can.. but people have been having luck with similar size 3d printed cans.
Thank you!

PCPs to the rifle range !

If you're a good shot, you can shoot until you run out of mosquitoes. ;)

We shoot pellets on metallic sihouettes, out to 160 meters, often it's quite windy. Great fun.

My friend shoots a Diana 48 .177, while I shoot some .22 PCPs.

We are lucky that our club range is largely unoccupied, and that allows us to shoot for 6 - 7-1/2 hours per day.

The orange plate (11"x14") is 160 meters in the wind, but what's impressive is Tom Cooper:

What springer did you shoot today?

The weather has finely turned nice here the last couple days. Today was a good airgun day for me I got my Frankenrauch 95 shooting beautifully. The new Sightron scope I installed is working out great.

Then I managed to rescope the R1 after two failed attempts to install two different Vortek kits. I put it back to my improvised spring kit for now. It shot well and hard at >20 fpe. Waiting on Tom to get back to me. I'm pretty sure I know what's wrong but I want his attention on it.

This Beeman 77 MkI I picked up in December is finally starting to group well now. It's probably got about 2k pellets down the pipe since my last bore scrub and polish. It's finally clover leafing at 25 yards like it should. I guess it just need the rounds through it to smooth out bore. I was initially disappointed in the accuracy of this historically highly regarded piece. Nice to see it finally coming together.

Interesting. What moderators work better for lower power airguns - say in the 40 ft-lbs range? The goal is to make it quieter as much as reasonable.

N/A  Best bang (or plink) for the buck?

The D34 is a very good rifle for you. A Hw95 or the Beeman equivalent the R9 is little bit more refined if you can find one in your price range.
There might be better choices if you elaborate on your specific intended use. Example, paper or pest. 10, 25 or 50 yards. What's the accuracy you desire. Etc etc.

I have a ton of firearms and 13 Weihrauchs and the one i enjoy shooting the most are my smallest lowest powered. I'm 6'3" 200 lbs so I can handle bigger rifles I just get a kick out of the smaller ones. You may be different.

Battle Mountain… Complete Bull

Great video and comments. I don't think AirGun Oregon has missed any of these super fun and challenging events. I think this was the lightest winds we have ever seen, but also they switched more than we have ever seen in the past as well, including going neutral a lot of the time when the flags were saying otherwise. This caused a lot of misses, especially for those with less wind mastering equipment out of the barrel... which allowed those competitors to stay around the KZ most of the time. The 36T course that I bet had a very low standard deviation, would not allow for any wrong guesses or wobbling around in your hold.

And after a grueling challenging day on the course, the campground came alive with comradery extraordinaire, enhanced with 400mbps WIFI from my Starlink setup. This is one of my most favorite places to spend 4 days... every year. Thanks Jim and Chris for all the hard work to put this together each year... it just gets better every year!

We will have a video for your enjoyment out in a couple days too... stay tuned:)

Always great to see the Oregon Team! Randy killed it!
Great talking with Bill, he let me shoot the redwolf:)I had the pleasure of shooting with Wayne this weekend, Feels like we have shot together before, maybe it was at a Jim Cyran Memorial shoot in Sac Valley. Already packing for next month in Ashland. Can't wait to see the video!

GX-CS4-I: Buy from Amazon vs. GX?

I bought mt CS4-i direct from GX. Good fortune smiled and it's operated perfectly from the start. A friend bought a CS4-i direct from GX and it was DOA. GX pronptly sent a replacement power supply and circuit board but my friend had to disassemble the compressor and install the parts. My friend's compressor worked perfectly on 12 Vdc even with the bad power supply and circuit board.

If I were to make a purchase today, I would buy the CS4 with the external power supply. Not only is it substantially less expensive than the CS4-i, the power supply is not subject to internal heat and vibration.

I think that buying a new CS4 from Amazon is a good choice because the money saved over the cost of a CS4-i would more than pay for the warranty.

Thanks for the headsup stovepipe, much appreciated! I have no doubt the bipod is the real deal....I got it from Primary Arms for like $300 so it better be real!!! hahaha
Hi Zesty. That was Ratzy that warned about fake Atlas stuff. The modifications I pointed you to (link) are two that I and Grackleblast did to our authentic Atlas CAL Gen 2 bipods to seriously improve the functionality of the Pod-loc lever. The mods are only intended to work on authentic Atlas CAL gen 2 bipods. I had no doubt that yours is authentic. Happy shooting!
