Parts, parts and more parts

Thanks Rich. This is huge for guys that like to tinker and work on guns. Especially with your no BS & knowledge on the guns.
It’s appreciated

Rob
With the Gamo changes we took a proactive stance to pick up from what customer service cannot sell. But the more we thought about it, we made the decision to just put the throttle down with all parts. Especially when more companies came on board like Gamo, BSA/Gamo hybrid.
Website work yay!! 👎👎👎👎

Maybe that’s a difference, for me it’s either regular domed pellets or slugs. And the occasional hades. Shot placement is exactly where I thought it’s supposed to be, like between the eyes or middle of a straight line between eye and ear if sideways… and usually it’s with anywhere from 30 to 70fpe depending on the gun so they are smacked with authority… or am I missing something?! Here’s a vid with a few examples and a pic re shot placement (sorry in advance in case you don’t want to see those…):

this shot looks good i'm using 11.6 FPE and 8.2 grains . still waiting on video /// OK saw video , that last shot you most likely skimmed the left side of the brain (your left viewing the vid) , And yes i would say 40 % of my shots dance but 60 % DRT also i do not take a lot of shots they get a free pass if the shot is not right on .

FX dreamline hammer spring tunning

FX guns ship from dealers jacked up all the time. A dude orders a .22 Dreamline, all they have is a .25. Because FX’s are so “modular”, they put a .22 barrel, probe and mag in the gun and ship it. Now he has an air hog compared to all the other guys he reads bragging about their guns. Problem is with some of their guns, there is some inner trickery that’s overlooked. The weight of the hammer, or the strength of the valve return springs on the Impacts. The first dude probably sold it because he thought he bought a pig. And he did. It’s fixable. You’ll have a squirrel smasher after you roll up your sleeves and get to work finding the problem. I know FX has guys thinking all the knobs and screws is the answer to their prayers. But this is going to involve tools.
I'm just trying to get diagnostic information as you deduced. want to know if Hammer strike is light even at max, dropping pressure will tell.

Now that we've been told the recharge to 125 takes MINUTES... that's worrying for the reg, shouldn't be the case at all.

FX had a couple of Jacked up mis labeled TPs that caused lower power at what people thought were high settings. a valve issue is possible.

possible pellet debris or something else in TP.

The reg recharge is worrying.

Tuning  New Artemis p15 dropping fps

Hi guys.
Bought a new Artemis p15 .22 2 month ago.
Fps was 850 steady on 30 shots jsb 18.13. From 230 to 130 bar.
Did around 1500 pellets so far.

2 days ago my POI dropped so I checked the chrono and fps was 790/ 800.

The Hammer spring reg is turned clockwise to the maximum from factory ,can't turn further.

I read many post that some guys got 875/900 fps on p15 out of the box.

Any help finding the problem is appreciated.

Thank you
getting a huma regulator will give you what you want mate I'm doing the same thing 🙄😂 my regulator has gone, the power from 1.77 cal was terrible so I spoke to a few guy's on here and they was really helpful and have helped me out load's, you may want to check your o ring's, even in the regulator and DON'T just mess with the hammer, like me and other's have been told you'll break the gun, not much help more people I can give to you mate because that's why I came on here my p15 was doing 1000fps not every single shot but the pressure was all over the place and the fps was getting pretty bad compared to what was previously being shot, with a 1.77 cal as well 😂, I no it's not funny because I've spent how much on the gun already, but it's something I injoy so I'm not bothered about the money, anyway all the best hope you fix your problem and happy shooting ✌️

you need to study the anatomy 360 degrees so you know exactly where to aim from any angle . thats what i did . not sure if it matters but i also use Wadcutters , nice flat nose pellets , splatters that brain like a hammer smashing a paint ball .

I put a Huma in mine back in 2017. The reg got here before the gun did. But I believe now they offer 2 different size regs for P15‘s. It depends on the internal diameter of your air tube. I will take a look at Huma’s sight and see if there is an easier way to determine which one you need without having to measure the ID of your tube

Email Huma (great people). Pretty sure it will fit but won't buy you much in a 177. I corresponded with them about which regulator my BS22, and the answer was that *in 22*, the standard reg will work for anything but the last few drops of power. Plenum is probably not the constraint.

BTW, the standard reg works great, and gives you a few more cc's of reservoir space over the XL.
hi so if I was to buy that regulator that you sent me in a pic that would fit the artemis p15 rifle then? many thank's D
Are you looking for a power increase or just a more efficient regulator? The one i sent is if you'd like to generate more energy.

if you're looking for just more efficiency and consistency you'll want this one.

the "XL" allows a larger amount of regulated air to be held "on deck" for the shot, the benefit of which is A) likely increase in power at the same pressure set, b) allowing slightly lower pressures to be used, c This regulator is typically a bit more efficient the cons :You will also lose a small amount of Reservoir volume as mentioned before.

PCP Rifle  WTS Various Rifles to Part With…

So I’ve figured out I like springers more than PCP (I’m weird I guess), so thinning out the PCP herd. These are the ones I’m letting go, all near new with very little use (less than 5 shooting sessions each). They are all .22:

- Benjamin Bulldog M357 Huma regulated with custom moderator, $400 shipped.
- BSA R10 SE with Huma barrel shroud/moderator: $535 shipped.

I can send pics of the particular piece you’re interested in, and they are priced to move. Thx for looking.

What pennyroyal said is completely true. The way the Huma design creates extra plenum space is it pushes the regulator further into the air tube. That reduces the amount of full pressure air you can store. SPA sizes these guns for 22 caliber and the 177 has plenty of power as a result. My P35-177 easily makes 19 fpe. 900 fps on 10.65 grain pellets. No added plenum, reg about 130 bar. Accurate. It also shoots 12.5 grain Nielsen slugs pretty well. If I wanted more power I would raise the regulator a little. No need for more plenum. Reducing your air storage space means you will have fewer shots per fill.

Do You Shoot Airguns With Any Women?

That’s a beautiful thing to say — thank you. And I’m so sorry to hear what your daughter went through… that’s a heavy road for any parent. I hope she’s doing well now.

And yeah, I like that thought — still with me at the range and out in the fields and woods. Always will be.

When our daughter's last chemo treatment was coming up, we asked her how she would like to celebrate on that day... "I want to go to the range."

And so we did.

Antifreeze in your pcp compressor?

I use distilled water with water wetter in it and I don't change it in my Yong Heng. It is in a utility room off my garage. That area is not heated but it is attached to the house and it doesn't get very cold here in SC. But if the cooling water of your compressor could freeze I would add anti freeze. This has been discussed before on AGN and others report using it. The plus seem to be reduced corrosion in addition to preventing freezing. It was also reported to prevent algae growing in the water. The minus is it won't conduct heat quite as well. Water wetter improves heat transfer and might help offset that.

hi thank you for your help 😁, now I'm going to just buy the huma I've got to measure ut, because i'm looking at the xl plenum by huma air and need to know if that would fit? so if anyone know's could you please help me thank you 🤝

Compressor

I prefer Yong Hengs for a few reasons reasons. First, they're all I can afford, secondly, they work just fine and efficiently for me with VERY few problems, thirdly, when my 1st died after 3.5 years great service, the warranty I purchased got me a FULL refund. I'm a year & a half into my second YH now & it's better than the first. Different strokes for different folks y'all (RIP Sly Stone!). Personally, I think a lot (not all) of YH failures are due more to owners treatment than the compressor itself. Luckily these days there are more options available for the varied "tastes" of airgunners.
BTW: I also had a Tuxing txed 032 for a while. Worked great til it died of old age (7 or 8 yrs old when I got it).
