Other  Sekhmet 2nd Generation 28Pro Gauge Firmware Update Failure

I was really interested in the 25mm Sekhmet gauges but quality control issues and post of cons issues with firmware scared me away from them. Sure would have been nice to replace all those hard to read 25mm gauge.
The Gen II 25 mm gauges are working perfect. No bugs...

What Paper Target Did You Shoot Today

Casual shooting with a new R7. Just some wear in and iron sights zeroing. I did flip the box at one point. It came shooting high right.
Beeman R7 bone stock

Nice R7, I see we have the same pellet trap. How do wadcutters compare to RSW domed? Good shooting too!

AEA  Megalodon loosing air

The inevitable happened with an aea guns
Im all of a sudden developing a small leak on my Megalodon over a period of a week or so I will leave it at full charge and come back to be 1000 psi lower I've sprayed the entire gun with soapy water and no bubbles anywhere so it must be internally any ideas ? Thank you
My aea sf 30 and my hp 50 both used to leak down to 4000psi over a few days or so. A few months ago I put a few drops of silicone oil inside the fill probe then filled with air. They both now hold 4500psi, it was an instant fix. I read about people doing it to their sf on here. It's worth a try. O rings can dry and shrink. Check valves can get stuck.

RAW Rapid  Love My R.A.W LRT's!

I have started to practice for the 50 yard with my RAW HM1000x that has a new BR stock. Martin tuned it for the 25.39 grain, but the tune also works with the JTS 22.07 which I prefer. Took the rifle to the range to shoot a practice set at 50 yards (indoors). Her performance at the range did not disappoint, but i still need more practice. I'm certain that you will be able to split cards with your LRT. Nice shooting MIke

nice cards / wonderful gun ! I find i shoot a lot more consistently if i take a break between cards (20 or 30 minutes) but i have the time shooting at home range

just reread and found some fat finger typing mistakes

Other  AirForce Knockoff First Look + Other Pinty Guns

I put a 18mm Buck Rail Collet Suppressor on mine. It directs air back into the shroud for more quiet.

Here it is in action.

@MikeAllen That looks like some good shootin' to me. Which scope and magnification did you use?

@wijib What's the difference between the HM1000 and the HM1000x?
Thanks! I’m using a Sightron SIII 10-50x60 MOA scope. Usually shooting in the middle of the magnification range - around 20x to 30x.

@wijib What's the difference between the HM1000 and the HM1000x?
IIRC, the HM1000 (.22 caliber) was factory setup and tuned for 18ish grain pellets and the HM1000x for 25 grain.

There may be other differences.

Cheers!

Lightest .177 pellets?

There have been some plastic outer / sabot cored hybrids made by SKENCO that ran about 4 grains or so.
Made In Hungary, tho no idea if or not there still available ?
These ones Motorhead?

I was given a sample of these years ago by a friend and I've kept them as a curiosity.

Evidently he picked them up on one of his business trips, don't know where he got them and have never seen them for sale.

I tried one (and only one) in my FWB124 and it was like dry-firing the gun 😳

Testing in lower power springers found them to be substantially less accurate than regular pellets.

The negative experience with these composite pellets has made me dubious (perhaps unreasonably so) of all the fancy two-part offerings (like Predators) on the market. Some people swear by the Predators (and similar offerings) but I can't see any performance benefits over the much less expensive standard lead pellets. Maybe you can comment on them.

Cheers!

What springer did you shoot today?

Yes, ordered late last week and arrived new from pyramyd yesterday
The reason I asked was I had talked to Mike at Flying Dragon Air Rifles and he has some in house. Will reach out to him Monday on the R7 to see if those have the gaudy logo. Back in the day the poor man's Beemans had that bold print.
