What did you do airgun related today.

Broke out the new chronograph yesterday and shot from 4K to falling off reg, without touching anything. I got this:

57 shots recorded, 20 ES, Heck if I remember SD. There were actually a few more shots than that; as usual I was doing two things at once and messing with my data gathering. I want to say 7 or 8 shots were missed when I moved the chronograph plus I think the FX misses one once in a while just because. This is on my Avenger shooting 14.3 CPHP because I'm cheap and have about 20 tins to shoot through. I thought I had dialed the hammer spring down to about 5% of plateau, but that graph is the plateau graph right out of the book.

Without further research, which should happen today, I want to say that the Avenger hammer spring is touchy.

Magpul bipod - squeaky and unstable

Magpul makes decent products. However imo their bipod sucks. Like you said, it’s floppy. I bought one, swapped it out for an aluminum one from Amazon for 30. It’s far better. If you can afford it get the atlas or ckye pod.
i agree. the magpul bipod could use some work

I get no water from the filter either. Lots of pressure , but no water. So you open the bottom bleed valve of the filter first, then the compressor bleed valve? Then do you open the upper filter bleed valve last? I get lots of normal pressure release from both the filter valves.
Yes exactly. I give a cpl quick blasts out of the bottom filter valve first so I don’t bleed all the air from the system. After the quick blasts I then dump the rest of the air at the compressor to blast out any moisture down there. Then open the top filter bleed valve to release the tiny bit of air up there.

Egyzt hittem pontosan tudod mit kell tegyek😔
mint amit mondtam, .22x600 (vagy .22x500) csö hosszal, 2x0.8 jets, 15 grain Hades, 64 bar on Reg, 740 fps. Vagy 100 bar on Reg 21 grain H&N @ 850-880 fps
a te .25 cal 0.7 vagy 0.6 fuvoka elég kellene legyen.
mijen hosszu a .25 csöved?

At that point all the pressure is gone from the system. Because I have never gotten moisture from the filter itself I don’t do what gx says to do. When done filling I give the bottom valve on the filter a cpl of quick opens/blasts. Then I bleed the majority of the pressure from the compressor valve itself, ensuring the water down there gets evacuated.

Tuning  Umarex M1A1 Thompson Repair

I can't fault the BB Gun companies for using cheesy parts (cheaper) on the guns, they are after all co2 BB guns.
I have not regretted buying my M1A1; if you do not know I also own the Umarex MP40 and the M3A1 grease gun. Umarex Legends M1A1 is still my favorite BB gun WWII replica of all three and very much worth upgrading.
On a personal note; I really enjoy talking (communicating; sharing) with others about this strange hobby I stumbled into 5 years ago.:)
Same here, I do enjoy this community.
Yes, I also have the MP40. Added lead to the bolt to slow the firing rate and bring it more in line with the real one. It busted an internal dowel pin some time ago and I replaced it with a proper hardened pin … no problems since. These Co2 guns don’t have recoil buffers and I think that’s part of the issue

Why is it when I release the pressure from the two bleed valves on my GX filter ( lower first, then upper) then open the bleed valve on my compressor I get no release of any pressure at all from the compressor?

Filling Benjamin Marauder w/ compressed air

Well, I've only got the one air rifle, so far. For now, I just have to make trips to the local shop for refills of my mini tank. If that becomes too much of a chore, I'll likely get a compressor to fill the tank. I'm just not going to use a manual pump at this point in my life.

But if I am out of air and want to go to the range, I'll just pick some of my "powder burners" to shoot. That's more of a dilemma, because I've got a fair number of those vying for my attention, and I can only bring so many! ;) Decisions, decisions! Rifles? Pistols? Calibers?
keeping it to a quiver of one = famous last words

TBH I'm probably going to pivot to more RF shooting this year myself. Less gear means fewer headaches.

There shouldn't be large, collectable, quantities of water ejected from the filter. Think splattering misty spray.
If the tube stays attached, any water is going to get shot upwards by the sides of the tin.
A rag is probably all you will need.
This, I have never gotten any noticeable moisture from the filter itself. Only the bottom of the compressor.

Squirrel vs rattlesnake

Not airgun related. That doesn’t fly around here. The reason will state that it’s supposed to go under your social something or other. That thing no one knows what it is or uses. Lol
