Ataman  ATAMAN M2R BULLPUP .357

Hello have an ATAMAN M2R BULLPUP in .357. Has been in a case for 4-5 years and has leaked all air out. Tried to fill but air blows out barrel. Even cocked rifle first and used scuba tank with 3000 psi burst with no luck. Anyone know where to get a disassembly diagram or video that will help ? Thank you in advance.
I don't think you can handle this task even with a diagram. It's not easy to service this rifle, you need to disassemble the air cylinder,to change the О-rings and clean the filling valve. for this you need a special tool that only the manufacturer has. In addition, you will never put properly the firing valve back in place! The rifle is no longer in production, spare parts are not available, if something serious happens to the firing valve, throw rifle away. This rifle was made by Russian drunkards, sorry. It's best to get rid of this rifle as is.

N/A  How accurate is a TX200.

My TX200 with a 12fpe Vortek kit likes the JTS 10.4 and the JSB 10.3 in that order. With accuracy similar to yours. You may be "splitting hairs" since your groups are excellent. But if you are competing, you have more experience than I. I just shoot in my backyard ;-). But if you have never tried the heavier pellets mentioned, you may be surprised at their accuracy and they are, theoretically at least, more stable in the wind. Cheers!

Skout  Why I Changed my Epoch Barrel.

I believe that was a bore scope of my first gen barrel for my early EPOCH it was a coating applied to there proprietary barrel alloy? It would still collect lead even when they claimed it wouldn’t. It shot decently but would throw flyers like most airgun barrels. “Mind you there’s alot going on with airguns effecting accuracy than just the barrel itself”
As far as the crown it needs to be perfectly square to the bore “land and grooves” and cut so there is no burrs or deformation against the land and grooves. As far as the outer barrel diameter crown It should be cut square as well but not sure about Finnish or style, convex, recessed, square etc. if that matters much?

If you look at RAW or Thomas they use a perfectly square barrel end finish and if there’s anybody that knows barrels it’s them!

FWB  FWB 300 S makes winners out of everyone

I love it when families get involved. You should be proud. Sometimes I think my daughters and wife just humor me, but they seem to enjoy themselves. Here's my oldest shooting a TX200. She was also a crack shot with just a bit of coaching. Cheers!

Tuxing Twin All varieties

Yea I hear you, I have three compressors as well. As I got into filling tanks i bought a yong heng because my small air cooled would not cut it, then the yong got weak after 6 months. Bought the twin tuxing and I put a new piston in the yong as a back up. I run a bunch of ice in the bucket when I'm filling tanks from zero. It definitely helps you start with much colder water. My computer fans probably only drop it a few degrees at best? I have no idea. I also keep a few fans blowing on the cylinder heads. Anything to make it run a little cooler is going to prolong the life. My power switch is the only thing that broke on the tuxing, luckily it's stuck in the on position and I run an inline external rocker switch.

FX  Are expensive PCPs worth it?

Not not really, My 22cal Hatsan Fl
ashpup can kick a$$ . Keep it simple brother. No r egret.
That depends on our definition of worth it too. For me in airguns or pb, mediocre machining or wood isn't worth it to me anymore. I enjoy the upper level of craftsmanship on machines these days(and saved for them since I'm not loaded) after a lifetime of cheap glass and budget guns.

No I'm not saying that this is doctrine, just my personal tastes. My aea is the last mistake. I wouldn't buy an aea for myself with YOUR money. That's just my perspective

Air Venturi  Maple vs Carm Magazines

I did purchase a Carm mag for a pp750 quite some time ago and I’ll just say it didn’t last very long. The spring and internal drum broke. I also replaced the mags for the PP750 with maple mags and it hasn’t skipped a beat yet.
This was the exact same issue that happened to my carm magazines. That's why I ended up throwing them away and buying the maple. From my experience, there's a night and day difference in quality control between the two 😉

Leishy 2, with 600mm barrel/ slugs out to 100yds?

The 100 Y/M idea is feasible, if you learn the trigger control and fine tune from there.
I am shooting my .22x500 at the LR22 range silhouettes most of the time, but pellets only.
For shooting rings I have found the .22 pellets work pretty well up to 80 Meters but beyond just fall apart.
Can comment for shooting slugs, not with L2 and not with Impacts.

Other  Need help with new gun decision. Analysis Paralysis

New member. I started out with a Hatsan 95 thinking I just wanted it for pest control (squirrels and rabbits). I hate it. But I caught the bug and now I am thinking I want something PCP and accurate (same hole) for target shooting as well. And there is a field target group near me in Dallas which I would like to try. I was thinking .22 caliber. I would like to find something used to get the most value. I would like to stay around $1k. I have thought about a new FX Crown basic (around $800) then get a chassis. I have also thought about Feinwerkbau's, Walther's, etc. Are there any recommendations for guns I should consider? I am just learning about guns in this price category. I could always bump my $$ if it is worth it. Buy once, cry once. Thanks.
You'll likely want .177 to compete in FT. They are more than adequate for pests and can be just as accurate.

RAW Rapid  HM1000X FPS question

If you are getting a single hole at 40yards ...why change anything?

But, if you really want to tinker around, and not mess it all up.... get a second regulator.
Keep one on the original settings and play around with the second.
write it down or take pictures of your adjustments ..keep records as a tuning guide for yourself
If you screw up bad ...just put back in the original regulator

i'd still leave it as is
Really not wanting to change anything, just kind of figured I’d ask about other experiences with it to even see if it was necessary.
I’m gathering from most that it’s not.
Going to stretch it out later this week to around 75 and call it good.

Tuxing Twin All varieties

Excellent forgot about that, yea I have the cheapest one without the filters etc. I thought you were just running the blue filter! I was impressed by the 119⁰f temperature though. I'm happy with mine so far. Zero issues
I was running with the 5 gallon bucket of water and was surprised by how quickly the water temperature rose. That’s what pushed me to a self contained cooling system. Was going to buy the stock tank but was only 5 liters. The self contained 032 has this tank and small computer fans, I think double the coolant and a bigger fan and radiators will cool better .
I just ordered another radiator to put in line .
Don’t get me wrong, I’m just f. Ing around. I’ll run the compressors nonstop till 4500 psi plus. If I have to fix something I’ll be entertained doing it.
Im gonna look at your gauges….
