Barra  Slugs in the 250z

Oh I’m at like 2800psi with the hammer most of the way in. I also added the rogue air slug power kit.
I'm going to try with .250 now, tried 30-36gr H&N .249 reg about 2600 hammer spring just wnought to have variation of literally 1-3fps shooting 30gr at 934fps and 36 at 895fps.....36gr shot me better but it was a light windy day. Now gonna try .250 and see how well it does....what's your fps on 34gr .250???

I do have now rogue hammer kit and works fabulous

  • Question
Anyone have a better AEA Megalodon fix?

I love the gun don’t get me wrong I am not too pleased that I have to unscrew the bolt handle on the action to get it to run right. Tom at Bluegrass said that’s the only fix he knew other than a dremel to notch it. Reached out to Bin…. Radio silence. My concern in the notch Ali’s that it may weaken the metal causing breakage or bending. Has anyone done this or are we all unscrewing the thing to get it to work. I heard this doesn’t impact all Megs, just the lucky….

Anschutz 2002 problem

I have a problem with the valve block in my older version Anschutz air rifle, side lever cocking .177 cal.
Is anyone here familiar with this or has encountered this problem before?Parts are no longer available from manufacturer.TIA.
The part I'm referring to is no57 in the pics.

HW/Weihrauch  Aperture disks...

This totally non-factory get-up is one I've been shooting a lot lately. The sight is a classic US-made Redfield Olympic, originally intended for a rail on the side of A .22LR match rifle's receiver. Here it's mounted to an Anschutz SA-1411 adapter, which mates the Redfield to typical German 11mm grooves. It has a Merit adjustable-aperture eyepiece and is mounted on an HW 55 CM.

Ah yes, I can remember using one of those a little over 60 years ago when on a ROTC rifle team. I would like to get one set up with an adapter like just for nostalgia.

What are y'all doing this weekend thats Airgun related?

I figured it out. Added a U adapter and 20CM long 125CC tube.
The 40CM 250 CC tube runs along the body of the gun with the top hat in the middle. Extension, U adapter and joints add about 50CC.

Now i just have to drive 500 miles to test it...

RTI  New gun!

Incredible.

Quick question. We all have different levels of physicalfitness. My guess is that your rig is about 15 lbs with the scope, bipod, moderator, slugs? I'm curious: Do you move around much when hunting with that rig or do you find a spot and mostly just stay put while picking away at the targets when they pop up?
I have a similar set up, weighs just under 17 pounds. I have trucked through the woods with it and it's not ideal, even with a sling. I'm having to drape it across my shoulders and hold onto a leg from the bipod to have it be 'comfortable'. I'm fairly fit and work out 3x a week. It gets heavy. It's definitely a long-range field kind of gun where you can set it down for a bit. You'll definitely want to look for a lighter weight set up if you're going to be trucking through the woods.

Benjamin  My .177 mrod shoots slugs, anyone else’s ??

I’ve had this rifle since 2010.
( .177 Mrod )
It likes 4.53 / 4.52 pellets. A Lot ! It shoots JSb 10.3 and HN 10.65

On a whim I tried JSb knockout slugs in 10.03
Oh boy what a surprise !

Anyone else have any luck with Marauders and slugs ?

Note. Upon further evaluation I misspoke.
Does NOT shoot them well enough for target or hunting.

Sorry gents got excited with a few lucky groups.

Population Problem

Population problem? Not sure it's really a problem but I sure do have plenty of cottontails, seems like i can shoot almost daily. Lucky for me my dog sits by the window on lookout duty and alerts me when 1 comes into view and 2 outside cats perform cleanup duty when I do my job. Shots range from 95 yds and under if I want to stalk for a closer shot. Sorry no videos as I spend my $ on lead.
