I'm going to try with .250 now, tried 30-36gr H&N .249 reg about 2600 hammer spring just wnought to have variation of literally 1-3fps shooting 30gr at 934fps and 36 at 895fps.....36gr shot me better but it was a light windy day. Now gonna try .250 and see how well it does....what's your fps on 34gr .250???Oh I’m at like 2800psi with the hammer most of the way in. I also added the rogue air slug power kit.
Stock, around half a liter ;-)How much plenum volume has an airforce ?
I have the solution, that valve is old you need new valve and do some mods, but it's easy....send me dmI have a problem with the valve block in my older version Anschutz air rifle, side lever cocking .177 cal.
Is anyone here familiar with this or has encountered this problem before?Parts are no longer available from manufacturer.TIA.
The part I'm referring to is no57 in the pics.

Ah yes, I can remember using one of those a little over 60 years ago when on a ROTC rifle team. I would like to get one set up with an adapter like just for nostalgia. This totally non-factory get-up is one I've been shooting a lot lately. The sight is a classic US-made Redfield Olympic, originally intended for a rail on the side of A .22LR match rifle's receiver. Here it's mounted to an Anschutz SA-1411 adapter, which mates the Redfield to typical German 11mm grooves. It has a Merit adjustable-aperture eyepiece and is mounted on an HW 55 CM.

Come and find outDamn son! They taste like chicken?![]()
Neat design. 500 miles?I figured it out. Added a U adapter and 20CM long 125CC tube.
The 40CM 250 CC tube runs along the body of the gun with the top hat in the middle. Extension, U adapter and joints add about 50CC.
Now i just have to drive 500 miles to test it...

I have a similar set up, weighs just under 17 pounds. I have trucked through the woods with it and it's not ideal, even with a sling. I'm having to drape it across my shoulders and hold onto a leg from the bipod to have it be 'comfortable'. I'm fairly fit and work out 3x a week. It gets heavy. It's definitely a long-range field kind of gun where you can set it down for a bit. You'll definitely want to look for a lighter weight set up if you're going to be trucking through the woods.Incredible.
Quick question. We all have different levels of physicalfitness. My guess is that your rig is about 15 lbs with the scope, bipod, moderator, slugs? I'm curious: Do you move around much when hunting with that rig or do you find a spot and mostly just stay put while picking away at the targets when they pop up?
Damn son! They taste like chicken?Man, the 177 fun never ends! 38 on hand, 51 kill count for the day
