ammo tec exit scam

AEA is not a scam they are good people, i bought my M 50 directly from them and they gave me a good deal and threw in a free folding stock. Im referring to a third party vender who created a modification for the m 50, took. Lot of orders when supply was out, but never came back with it and went out of business apparently.
I ordered their Harpoon on the 9th of March, & they won't respond to emails, & their number is out of service. Go on their website & check it out for yourself.

BRK Ghost with slug barrel.

I got my .22 slug barrel two weeks ago and it shoots really good, I have been using the JSB short skirt redesign 25.39gn pellets, I have slugs coming that AOA recommended. Also have the Barrel Tensioner kit but have not got that setup yet. Really happy with the new barrel, now I am waiting for the .25 Cal SUB MOA barrel to come out soon, I hope!
According to AOA the slugs they recommended will not be available until next month, but I have several different slugs on hand that I will be trying in the meantime. My new Ghost should be here this week, and I am like a kid at Christmas. Did I read your post correctly that your new slug barrel shoots the JSB redesigned 25.39 shallows really good?

30-Yard Challenge

100 Yards - in strong wind - with pellets

I'm documenting this for my reference - I thought I'd share this with you guys - in case you are interested...

I was shooting at 100 yards on Friday at my brother's house. He lives in the middle of the woods and is an avid hunter/fisherman. We mapped out a 100 yard range outside his back door - named it the "Pete Gillis Memorial Range" - in honor of our Dad, an avid outdoorsman.

I was supposed to get to my brother's at 8:30am, knowing that the wind would get bad by noon. I overslept due to bourbon consumption and showed up at 10:30am. The wind was already kicking up. My brother informed that it was very calm at 8am - serves me right for drinking.

It was so windy (weather app reported gusts to 30mph - and that could have been understated) but I wanted to play with the new-to-me .30 Wildcat Mk 2. It has some history as a consistent 1.25" 5-shot group performer at 100 yards.

The rifle shoots insane sub-Moa (.5") 5-shot groups at 50 yards at my house. I had made some hammer spring adjustments at home and it chronoed a perfect 900fps when I got to my brother's - so at least I got that right.

The wind was switching, as all high wind does, but it was mostly L to R. I used just two wind flags at 25 and 75 yards - this was just a casual shoot to sight-in/dial-in the rifle at 100, not to shoot for score. I had to keep chasing my hat and my large cardboard targets - the wind kept blowing them away, lol.

Anyways, I thought the rifle did fantastic in the conditions. I've shot in 100-yard benchrest competitions and they never had wind this bad. Note that the vertical spreads were very reasonable (I thought) in windy conditions. A few shots jumped high or low - likely because the wind was slightly headwind or tailwind as well as L to R on those shots.

I'm showing you my two "10-shot" targets (one is 11 and one is 8 after some sight-in shots). I'm showing you the targets as I saw them and then marked up versions that give you the details of what was happening.

One interesting thing is that I fell off the reg on the paper plate target while shooting the 4 sight-in shots (walking them towards target - 3" splatter). Note the 1.5" drop of the off-reg shot of 865fps. At 30 yards, a 30fps drop in velocity might show as 1/4" at most. It was great to have an air tank with me. TommyB inspired my to get a tank - it makes filling when at the range very convenient.

Despite the bad shooting conditions, I hung in there and waited for lulls in the wind when the flags were not moving real fast - and both flags were pointing Right. Still, it was really tough to judge.

Note also on the cardboard target that I made "reference marks". I knew I'd have to hold left quite a bit and my Sightron 45X scope is just a simple thin crosshair. Without target rings to hold off on, I thought to make myself a couple marks on the target - so I don't appear to be that hung over, lol.

For you guys that shoot almost always inside 50 yards, shooting 100 yards is a different ball game and 100 yards in heavy wind is all about patience. I sometimes would have 5 minutes between shots. If you just ignore the wind, pellets - even .30 cal 44g - will just blow all over the place. The flat part of the paper plate is about 5.5" diameter. Put one out at 100 yards sometimes and note how small it looks, lol.

Anyways, I plan to do a bunch of 100 yard shoots at my brother's this year. It gives me a chance to see him as well as play with some of my bigger caliber air rifles - really stretch them out.

If any of our shooter's here have any questions about shooting at 100, feel free to reach out. I'm no expert, but I can offer what I've experienced to date. Most accurate PCPs shooting 25+ grain pellets can do well out to 75 yards in decent wind conditions. Beyond 75-80 yards things get a lot different.

Good summary Ed.

Shooting pellets at 100Y outside with significant wind will test everyone. I looked at your groups and the vertical is really good.

It will be interesting to try this again in a light wind day.

What do you guys/gals think? ,your opinion wanted.

This right here. A CNC machine would take a few extra lines of code to make an FX rifle left hand friendly. Boggles my mind. That's fine, I will take my funds else where.

The few times I handled an FX rifle I was afraid I was going to break it, they felt very flimsy. And that whole POI shifting issue would drive me mad.

Luckily there are companies out there that cater to left handed / ambidextrous shooters that are happy to take my funds and deliver a quality product.

The Taipan wins for hunting and the BRK wins for plinking. Both rifles are excellent ambidextrous options.

Vote with your funds!
Hearing that a $2300 rifle wins for plinking is wild lol.

I agree though, the decisions made when there is money to be made is kinda crazy. But there are left handed kits for the M3 and the cocking lever is ambidextrous.

Maybe it wasn't worth the effort for them to do it on different platforms?

Best airgun for coyotes? K1?

I’ve read articles about the K1 being great for taking out coyotes and watched videos saying its a go to gun for doing so. What power setting would be used? What slug would would be most effevtive? What distance could cyotes be take out at? Considering a K1 purchas, trying to learn as much as i can before making the purchas.
That's gonna depend on the size of your magazine chambers. Typically in .25 it needs to be .254 size slugs, in .22 it could be .221, .219, .223 etc. As not all mags are made equal, but you'll just want to use a hard, and heavy slug. The K1 can easily make power, I mean almost 100fpe in .25 and close to 80 in .22

Sheridan  Sheridan Silver Streak Model F

Added this to my Sheridan F nickel collection wing. I have to knock the sites off before it creates a problem.

What will you do for a rear sight after removing the factory one? It doesn’t look drilled for a Williams peep.

BRK Ghost with slug barrel.

so how are the Huben GK1 made, why do some shoot crossman and others they have a hard time finding a pellet?
I understand that you are saying about rifling.. but seems like from everything I have read and heard that the GK1 has major differences.. like a lot more than 217vs 2175..
also I don't know how the magazine is made, maybe it's cast? but I'd think it would be CNC machined..I suppose that's what I was referring to mostly before when I said CNC machine.
you are one of the members I remember the name and that you know what you talk about..I appreciate it..
I've been wanting a GK1 in 22 caliber and it's very hard for me to get that much money together.. I just really don't want to get it and then have trouble with it or being pellet picky and jamming at the price point..
if I manage to buy one it will be from Kelly at Krazy cool airguns
Mark
The best thing for you to do is to order from Kelly and request he put a 2018 magazine if he has one or ask if he has one before you buy. Even so you won't be able to shoot .217-.218 sized slugs/ammo.

Karma  My Micro Review of my 2025 Edition Karma Red Panda in .22

Here's my micro review of the 2025 edition of the Karma Red Panda Bench that I received two days ago. There is a noticeable "upgrade" from the 2024 version. At my request, my Panda is tuned for pellets.

I took it out of the box, there's rumors that I got a hernia, lifting it, out of the box, and cleaned the bore thoroughly, and filled it with air.
I first shot 38.6 grain AEA slugs. At 779 ft./s. I got 52 foot pounds. BC 0.078

With the JSB 33.965 grain pellets I got 842 ft./s with 53.5 ft. lbs. of energy And BC of 0.056

Both of these projectiles gave me extreme accuracy, literally pellet on pellet. I mean exactly pellet in the same hole, not a ragged hole as the other previous pallets. I started taking videos of this on my Zulus scope, but they were all the same. Every group I fired, was the same exact thing. I was shooting at 30 m. I'm going to move out to 50 tomorrow and I usually shoot at 50 every day.

Aside from being the most accurate PCP rifle I've ever even dreamed of, and I am especially OCD on accuracy at SD, the regulator was very stable with a tight, standard deviation, which I'm sure will only improve after it's broken in. The trigger pull from the factory came in at about a pound, and for now I'm gonna leave it at that because I didn't wanna change a thing on the gun. I have no need to do that. The power on the Red Panda is quickly and easily adjusted from very low to extremely high, depending on your preferences, and what you're shooting at.

The gun is very tunable without tools.

Note that the threaded adaptor is M18x1 not 1/2 UNF

This is obviously a bench gun. I don't believe anyone would carry this out in the field unless you had a decent sized stand set up and a sturdy tripod and called your target in.

Tomorrow if I can find the time to post, not only targets at 50 m, but the video from the Zulus proving it at which time you'll be able to hear the true ballistic chronograph spitting out the data.

I shoot every day in my backyard at 50 m for two or three hours competing against myself and for the last five weeks or so I've been solely focused on my favorite gun the K-1 in 22 caliber. So I put that aside and for the next few weeks, at least I'll shoot this behemoth at 50 m just so I can go "unbelievable unbelievable unbelievable" with each shot.

Many people know I'm an FX fanatic and I think they make the best product on the market in their dynamic block and I have several of those but my most accurate gun up to the time I acquired the Panda was a 30 caliber Kng GRS in Green Mountain, which gave me eight consecutive shots in one extremely clean, not frayed hole at 50m

I don't know whether that's a fluke and I just got a special King GRS but I'll take it as it is and that was out of the box. No changes to the tuning, totally amazing.

So I'll provide the actual data and imagery for this hopefully tomorrow or the next day but in closing I can say that this is one exceptional PCP rifle. And I don't think that there's any commercially available PCP rifle that's as accurate as this Red Panda.

It's so good that's for the first time in my life I'm actually considering entering a competition. I don't know what to do at a competition. I've never seen one and I've never been in one. I'm a little intimidated by the thought, but I'm not intimidated about the fact that I believe that my Red Panda will come away from the competition with stellar results. The hard part is my PTSD, being around people, having to travel and meet with strange people, and trying something that I've never tried before, but I'm gonna try to do it if I don't chicken out at the last minute. I'll have to find a competition close enough for me to drive to in New England because there's no way I want to get on an airplane again or go to an airport or at least a commercial airport. I just don't want to handle that. My kids are all pushing me to do a competition to help me step "across the line" of my service-connected PTSD.

I have a great deal of admiration for Donny Donnyfl Du, .and I'm very appreciative of all he's done for me to help me. Needless to say his products are definitely superior and I do everything I can to make other people aware of them because not only is he a real pleasure to do business with, I 've got to mention PJ as well, but the way they run their business, and the quality of their products is an example for others, especially to 2 PCP dealers I can think of in the American Southwest.

Hatsan  Jammin .30 Blitz

Blitz is great. It’s jamming with the larger mag on full auto but not the smaller 17 round. I’ve tried without the suppressor and same deal. I’m wondering if it could be the spring in the barrel that has too much tension. Any advice is for sure appreciated

have you tried running a few patches through the barrel..I read a lot of people posting on the blitz and I have one.. it's only done that one time..🤔I normally clean the barrel with another pellet.. so I got out the cleaning rod and patches and pulled 3-5 very dirty ones through it.. it's the only time I have had a jam and that solved it..
but I also only have the 29 round magazine as mine is 22 caliber..
I'd love to get a adapter to put my Donny FL shogun moderator on it but I haven't been able to find one..
oh the one other time it fails to cycle but it's in both semi and full auto is if I put in too heavy pellets.. it's fine with 14 grain and 18 grain pellets but 25 grain pellets turn it into a bolt action.. so I just don't use them in it because I'm assuming that it might possibly damage it.

Mark

Stoeger  How good does YOUR Stoeger shoot?

So what's your thoughts about getting one now?
So what's your thoughts about getting one now?
I am going to get one but I may wait on the .25 caliber. I have the Bullshark in.22 caliber and I am very happy with it. What ever I choose, I will go to Rich at Airgun Revisions. He is a great guy. Please keep us posted on how you tune your rifle.

97 cubic foot tank or 4500 air compressor for being a couple hundred miles away from civilization 2000 to 3,000 shots per day thank you

@Corvid_hunter, I gave the poster 12 hrs. in lieu of 24 & came up with 4.16 shots per min. No way, any day, especially on Sunday if he’s a working man! This type of pesting is ludicrous - there is NO possible way these are clean, humane, morally straight or ethically clean kills. This is a Cardinal Sin and gives all hunters/pesters a horrible reputation! Not to mention he is posting this on AGN “ Michaels site & every members site as well”!

I can not & will not, No Forget It! - Something is very wrong here!

@Michael, I would be very careful with this one “ Whim whams are just that”!

I Don’t like this one bit! Go Away Mister & be gone with yourself!!! AGN & it’s members surely want nothing to do with this!

If I am wrong Mr. Wendt please revoke my membership.

Respectfully, RadioFlyer
