Wifi connectivity issues dnt zulus hd520 LFR

I've found that when you connect to a wifi network without Internet access, turn on airplane mode. Your device keeps trying to find Internet in the background. Works on my DNT app and Natechrony.
Just tried airplane thank you for the suggestion, but it still connected "offline". I transferred a table but it's not on the scope.

What do you guys/gals think? ,your opinion wanted.

My suggestion is to have the work done for you. I have a local gunsmith who has done outstanding work for me more than once at very reasonable cost. I know how it can be with diy projects, had a few go bad myself. You may yet add another to your collection, I certainly have, but let someone else do it and if you still aren’t happy you can sell it in good working order.

FX  FX Wildcat BT Leak

Had a small leak in a new Wildcat BT I purchased and finally got time to look more into it. The bottle had completely emptied itself due to the leak so I went to fill it back up and as soon as pressure got back on the bottle, I could hear air coming out of the hole above where the bottle screws in. Any ideas on what could be the cause? Rear reg pressure is holding steady. This is my first air gun so any and all help welcome. Thanks in advance.

BRK Ghost with slug barrel.

I got my .22 slug barrel two weeks ago and it shoots really good, I have been using the JSB short skirt redesign 25.39gn pellets, I have slugs coming that AOA recommended. Also have the Barrel Tensioner kit but have not got that setup yet. Really happy with the new barrel, now I am waiting for the .25 Cal SUB MOA barrel to come out soon, I hope!

The wifi on my tnc225r only connects to a device like my phone or tablet it does not have internet capability. They use wifi instead of blue tooth to connect and sync. once your scope is on open up phone or tablet and look at wifi on mobile device and you should your scope
Thanks yea I see it on my phone. The transfered table isnt listed under the version no. Where it should be. I wrote to dnt. I will try

Chronograph Madness

My circuit design skills are out of date, but to save power, I wouldn't expect them to try to do the actual time interval measurement in a "processor." A dedicated CMOS interval counter could be clocked at a high rate without having to run everything else that fast. The HT-X3006 sensors are 5.5 cm apart. The specs claim it will measure velocities up to 1219 M/sec (which is nonsense as far as air guns go, as Nate's video points out) to 0.5% accuracy. At 1219 M/sec, it takes ~ 45 microseconds to go 5.5 cm, and you need to measure that to 1 part in 200. That says the minimum clock for the counter is ~ 4.4 MHz if everything else is perfect (like the sensor spacing). That's actually pretty slow by modern circuitry standards. A 10 MHz timer clock would give you more than a factor of two margin. It actually looks like there are "ultra low power" microcontrollers out there that can clock at many 10's of MHz, so maybe the processor can handle it.

Realistically, I think the precision of the sensor spacing is more critical if they don't want to have to calibrate each one. 0.5% of 5.5 cm means the sensors need to be soldered in place to better than around a quarter of a mm. I think a good fixture should be able to do that. I suppose at some point, the accuracy of the location of the semiconductor chip relative to the package would be the limiting factor.

Wifi connectivity issues dnt zulus hd520 LFR

My wi fi is good i have repeaters around the house and never have issues with other devices. The scope arrived today. After downloading the app and trying to connect the scope it didn't like my wifi, but it said "connect offline" ( whatever that means). I tried deleting and re installing the app. I tried 2 that on different phones. I tried using a 5g hotspot instead of wifi. I want to like this thing but if i cant successfully transfer balistic tables its not worth the price. Did anyone else experience these connectivity issues?
On the scope menu my transfered table isn't in the system settings window with the version number at the bottom where it should be, but if you go in menu, then balistic options, then balistic table settings It is in there "jsb50.2slug". When I transfer a table from the app it says "synced". I will also write to dnt optics and see what they suggest.
I successfully zeroed it at 10 yards indoors. I figured out how to create tables. I will try it out at 50 yards tomorrow and see how it looks and re zero it.
Any feedback appreciated
Thanks David
Did you connect to it offline? That's how my phone warns me too. I just connect and get to work.

97 cubic foot tank or 4500 air compressor for being a couple hundred miles away from civilization 2000 to 3,000 shots per day thank you

2-3,000 pellets, slugs, cartridges is a lot for a day. When shooting ground squirrels, we seldom were above 1,000 rounds of powder burner ammo in 10 AM (when it was warm enough that they were out) to dusk. Shooting quite consistently at the range, about 6 hours per day, I shoot 500-700 pellets.

I take 3 or 4 full-power .22 PCPs and shoot & reload one gun while another is on the GX CS3 compressor.

*NB. I am not disputing the numbers anyone has referenced, simply adding what might relate to the database.

I run the compressor (or my CS1 clone spare) from 120 VAC unless the power happens to be down, in which case I use the vehicle. I can fill several times before needing to run the vehicle to avoid hiking. IME, unless one is luckier than I am, spares are necessary to keep from being out of commission, unlike powder burners.

Mike Ellingsworth

I just want everyone to know that Mike Ellingsworth is going tomorrow for open heart surgery. Please keep him in your prayers. I have never met him face to face but we are very good friends. He is a great man and loves the LORD JESUS. His health is in his hands and thy will be done.
Healing over Mike and steady hands over the surgeons, in the Mighty name of Jesus.
