FWB  Feinwerkbau 800X air rifle cylinder

I may be wrong but my experience with FWB pcp cylinders is the will not support them with parts and a replacement cylinder most likely will be where you end up. I just went through this.

I called most of the tuners and all said no to touching them. One said he stopped because it was about 50/50 destroying it trying to get it apart.

Here is a link for new.

May I know what happened to your cylinder ? same as mine ?

When all else fails

I enjoy both but there's something about a quality spring gun. If you want to just grab and go or sit on the porch and knock some spinners around it's hard to beat. Will they outshoot my FX Impact at 50+ yards...no, but still, it's extremely relaxing and satisfying to be able to consistently hit a one inch spinner with it, something not every shooter can do. It takes a lot more focus and attention to details like breathing, trigger pull and fallow through. Its a slower more methodical way to shoot, one pellet at a time, one shot one kill, and a tin of pellets lasts a lot longer lol. After a session with my springer shooting my PCP's become easier and my shooting techniques are better.

I've never had the opportunity to shoot a quality German springer either, so there's that. Beautiful gun

What springer did you shoot today?

The sights on it look to be correct, I would check it across a chronograph and proceed from there. You were shooting at 10M correct?
It should shoot around 550 to 600 fps.

Also, take a look and be sure that your front aperture insert is centered in the front sight. It is not unheard of to have the wrong insert cause issues.
Thanks. The 601 front sight was missing. Oddly there was a front sight on my kitchen floor. No idea where it came from and used it. I have several Weihrauch front sight sets. Will they work?
Not at all familiar with these guns. Crow

When all else fails

6gun, "That's how badly springers and I get along 😂", I understand completely however, it's great to know that if I were to run out of air, I'm not left behind because I can always use a springer to get by.
That's where having an airgun addiction for 30 years comes into play and my first love of pump rifles. I do have 2 177 springers that have made the grade to where I can shoot them well. One is just incredibly slow for 177, but I've been shooting it since the 90s

Say hello. What state or country are you from?

I know a lot of times I want to say something or click on something ..And I will check there name to see where there from, If its blank or says nothing I just move on, It makes me distrust them and they are hiding for some reason,,,

In new here, I didn't even know that was an option! Thanks for the tip

RTI  Aug 4th Mora vlog part#1

For the die hard Mora fans, another practice vlog video. This is a long one (15 minutes) but you'll learn all sorts of interesting things like the meaning of life, is there alien life in the universe and why those damn plastic seals on some liquid bottles are impossible to remove. 😉

Enjoy....

Other  Thoughts about Slugs and Magazines

I like this post. I have a stock a
Zelos .22 cal modded only by 3 things the 500 cc bottle the adapter , and I slipped a piece of
clear plastic tubing over the barrel under the shroud , and back on the exposed part by my face. I only have 15 yards in my back yard shooting range.
I got the reg set at 2,900 the hammer spring 5 turns in , and the 28,s are going 885. I'm getting same hole accuracy from the Apollo 28 grain HP dish base slugs. I don't think at that close range they have even stabilized. The new double mag holds 36 , and that's how many shots I get from full fill to 3,000 which is just above the reg setting. In PB's I used to buy 4 boxes of various ammo whenever I got a new rifle to see which one worked best , but then started to reload with these variables case , powder ,bullet ,primer. Until I was able to dial in the perfect round. In Airguns the Zelos only has mags I mean there may be a single shot tray but I don't care for them so I never looked. One thing you did not mention is the possibility of lube which I don't use because I never cleaned the barrel as lead itself is lubricating , and the competition shooters is where I read they don't clean the barrels , so I don't either. The probe idea is great , but the dish base slugs work great for mine , so it would be finding the slug that works well for your probe , and not the other way around. A dedicated sluger might be the way to go
I have 2 barrels for my Zelos , and they switch very easy , so I use a dedicated slug barrel for my slugs. With the Zelos being able to easily mod to the FX liners Which come for both slugs , and Pellets might be an Idea. Lothar has the new polygon barrels which provide less friction as far as rifling goes. I'm going to say it's just a trial , and error thing with so many variables , but from reading here I learned the the heavier slugs , or pellets moving at 920 to 950 seem to be the most accurate. I want to see where this goes. OldVet
Edit: Great video , and after watching I thought maybe a small adapter added to the probe could be added to bring the shoulder out a little more.

Western Airguns  Mordax (Venom) Parts Diagram / schematic?

Update on new unit.. Chrono numbers at 51ftlbs stock with 30cal 44.75gr fx pellets 725fps. Venom booster regulator set to just under 150bar from factory. It seems I'm getting 3 mags from 285bar fill to about 150bar (36 shots). Id like to get Chrono strings to get an exact shot count from 300bar. It seems pretty loud with the 0db compact moderator. A little better with the Donnyfl tanto 30. Donnyfl shogun makes it backyard friendly. Probably going to turn it down to 690fps to see how that helps the report of this short barrel. I'll try to do a follow up post this weekend with a video. So far I'm liking it.

Arizona State PCP championship and AAFTA Grand Prix - August 15, 16, & 17, 2025

Weather is looking great compared to here....High in the 80's and lows in the mid 50's. Possible rain also.....We all know how that goes here in Arizona...It's monsoon season and those storms can show up in just a few minutes......Should be a great time

Hornets nest

If you like excitement, entertainment and don't mind some danger, then buy one of these and shoot the nest and run like hell.
If you are real brave/stupid just save your money and used a baseball bat or broom handle.
