ThxFrom hundreds (likely a few thousand) 30 and 40 Yard Challenge cards we’ve accumulated data from… the 13.4s do best at 800 to 820 fps. The pellets design parameters were probably to optimize performance at 20 ft/lbs for field target shooters.
We’ve found the 10.3s very flexible with velocity. Lots of data showing excellent accuracy at 800 fps up to 920 fps.
Not many shooters have rifles that shoot the 16.2g Beasts well - at least we have not seen many leaderboard submissions with this pellet. I believe the Rick Cope ( @RCope ) has a Daystate that does. Tom Boylan ( @tommyb ) had a RAW TM initially set up for the 16.2g. Results were not good so he had the rifle retuned for 13.4g with excellent results (815fps range).
I’ve had some amazing results with AEA 8.72g at velocities up to 935fps with multiple rifles. Interestingly, this 8.72g pellet flys slower than the JSB 8.44g - back-to-back shot in the same rifle.

Yes. I have seen that. Very good in depth review. But it doesnt tell how the riflexshoots 13.34g and 13.43g. Only slugs and beastAEAC channel on YouTube has a great in depth video of this gun. It was a slug shooter for him
Already done...@Fodzy le Geek Why haven't you posted links to your videos presenting your evidence along with your rants?
But it only seems to exist on the epoch reg and the screw on cap seems looks shorter. The SK-FLT103 part
ita a filter that was recently replaced with a brass part. Original one I believe was some type of filter material and it wasn’t perfectly flat on the bottom and they said it could be a potential for a leaky area….. I replaced mine, but I also tried to see if the original could be flattened , and it was really easy. Just running it over some 400g sandpaper completely removing the small burr that was their originally probably causing it not to be flat.
I was soooo looking forward to getting the Karma RP... but now ....think i will pass !!Message send to KARMA and DONNYFL :
Good evening, I'm getting back to you to find out where you are with your quality control and deliveries of Karma Red Panda in Europe because, to this day, many people are asking me if things have changed since my video on the quality of Red Panda sold by Krale from China. My answer is currently still the same: the Karma made in China sold in Europe is a disaster. Having had no news or response from your resellers, I still strongly advise against purchasing this brand. I look forward to your response.
Sincerely,
Guns either love hybrids or hate them. I'm glad yours likes them. They should expand like crazy if they're stabilized. Take notes of your current tune and see how fast you can send them. The accuracy is nice, maybe shoot a water bottle full of water in front of the clay? I was sending mine a 930 into clay (plumbers putty) and it was blowing the back of the slug out, right side of Pic.

As said above. Buy a tank that is DOT certified or a shop won’t fill it. Very important. Majority of ones sold on Amazon and eBay aren’t. On eBay you can get acecare dot tanks. If buying used keep in mind they only have a 15 yr life for professional fills and have to be hydro tested every 5 years. So check the dates stamped on the tanks.I picked up a 4500psi compressor on Amazon for my Notos. This was after I tried a bike style hand pump haha. I live in the city so I need to go to the range to do any long range shooting. I guess I should have mentioned that earlier. The reason I'm thinking about a tank is just to get more rounds off before I fill.
Depending on gun sound is different with and without pellet. Moderator performance also changes. Huben k1 quieter without pellet gk1 louder. Etc...After getting a new moderator, I decided to do my own testing to see which of my "larger" moderators were the quietest. Dry firing out of the same regulated gun at the exact same distance, and re-ran test 2 more times to verify the accuracy of the original readings. Surprisingly the retests showed the same results within .5 dB, so at least I know there's consistency in the readings.
Curious what order would you guys think would be quietest to loudest? My guess prior to testing was 4,3,2,5,1,6

I can't find it anywhere on Amazon. They have several other types from Chevron, but no "open gear".You are 100% right. You can fill any size tank, you just have to maintain discipline. There is no reason in the world why it would matter as long as you manage heat.
As to Chevron Open Gear Lube, you can find it on Amazon, ~$15
Thanks for the advice, yes, I'm prepared for the stock. I have a rear support that mounts in place of the grip and has 360 degrees of smooth rotation. There is 1 important piece of information I did not mention. In order for front coaxial rest to work properly, the rifle butt stock needs to rotate slightly. The way I use the front coaxcial rest, the front of the airgun is somewhat tightly held into place in a "friction fit". This requires the rifle butt stock to slightly rotate as you adjust front elevation.
So I designed a rotating butt stock mount that fits the existing Red Panda rear rest pad. It easily mounts into place and moves in relation to the front coaxial adjustments. It took me awhile to figure out why my shots were not consistant until I mounted the rear mount. The movements are very slight, but important.

So 10.3 gr shooting at 870 fps would be a good ideaFor Hunter class field target here in the US, you want to be close to 20fpe, but not over.
Far and away, the two most used pellets are the JSB 10.3 and the 13.4 Monsters (Original), both in .177. Less used, but also competitive is the .20/13.73, also by JSB.
Those three pellets are what people who want to win shoot, simple as that. Much of it has to do with BC, and the fact that those three are as good as it gets for the combination of weight and speed that keeps you legal (again, slightly under 20fpe).
Caveat: I say JSB but some swear by FX or AA or Daystate branded pellets ....they're the same pellet, made by the same manufacturer, sub contracted out to be placed in different tins. Yes, a particular batch of xzy may really ji e with a particular barrel, but that doesn't change the fact that JSB made them.
As for getting a .177 barrel for your RTI, it's not a typical rifle we see at FT matches, but that doesn't mean it can't be competitive, in the right hands and with the right amounts of practice.

I have an almost new RTI P3 in .22. What if I bought a barrel kit in .177 and just convert it and save some dollars?
What grain and brand is popular among HFT shooters?
