BRK Ghost with slug barrel.

Congratulations! What a very nice duo! I would order slugs of different diameters and weights. I would also call AoA and see what diameter slugs they recommend for that barrel but each barrel is slightly different. How cool!
ok can you please help me understand 🤔 so you mentioned that each barrel is different..ok but how does this happen..
same thing with the GK1.. even Kelly says that every gun is different.. different diameter of barrel and different magazine.. I don't understand this with modern CNC machined stuff..
I know this sounds bad and honestly I don't think it but seems like especially with the Huben GK1 if what is said is how it is, is it made one by one by different people and no specs or horrible quality control.. again I don't believe that statement but I can't understand how some will shoot all ammo and others jamming and hard to find any ammo that works..
I suppose this is my biggest concern/question especially for the Huben GK1
I suppose I should pm you but I wasn't sure how to reference this post.
thank you

Guantlet regulator stack.

When I was trying to properly clock my Tank on my Guantlet.22 cal SL.
I unscrewed the regulator. I could not believe how easy it was to get to , and easier to get to than the hammer spring having to take off the stock , and all. Anyway I pulled out the regulator admired the stack then put it back in. I was using the
25.4 grain Apolo pellets which were to long for the mag , so I had to use the single shot tray. I really don't like the single shot if I want to do that I'll use my Drifter , or my 392.
So I shot some H&N Crow Magnum at 18.2 grain they fit in the mag , and I got 70 shots , or 14 five shot groups from 4,400 psi to 2100 psi a few hundred psi above the set reg pressure at at 1,900 psi with an average 940 fps speed. That's a little to fast , and I want to find the sweet spot of 880 to 895 for better accuracy. I'm not going to use the 25.4 anymore , so I'm going to take a pic of the washer stack then I want to come up with a different configured stack too see if I can get in the neighborhood of 890 for that sweet spot. Is there anyone here who might have already done this , or might have some suggestions. I don't want to be stuck using the 25.4 that is on all the review videos shooting at 890 , or so. I have lots of various 18 grain pellets Dome , Hollow point , Crow ect.

Stoeger  Messing with my Bullshark

The one I had was decent out of the box. I pulled the barrel lapped and polished the barrel touched up the crown and after that it would pretty much 1 hole jts 18 grains at 50 yards. I also switched out the spring to a little stiffer one and had the reg set at 125 bar. It seemed to like the lower reg setting and heavier spring combo.
I can attest to this … I have Neu s old BullShark and it smokes aces

will gx cs4i fill a 9l scba tank

Yes. I filled my 6.8 from empty. Broke it down into 3 "sessions" . Took as i recall 2 hrs 15 mins.
Broke it down to around 45 min. each "fill".
Of course topping off from 3200 to 4500 psi takes 25 minutes

Other  Reximex RPA Pistol Review (This PCP Pistol Shoots like a $1500 Gun!) Video Review

I've read this thread front to back. You get what you pay for. This Reminex pistol falls into the same category as the Artemis /Snowpeak pistols. Bank on luck and be prepared to fix the issues that come with an inexpensive gun. If you want a pistol that is as close to perfect out of the box pay your money and get a GK1. Nothing, absolutely nothing made by anybody is better in any way. It has the accuracy of an Olympic Match pistol and the power of a rifle.
I'm desperately trying to save up the money but it's a big chunk and I don't know what it's going to do price range.. currently 🤔
another concern is that I keep hearing about jamming and seating pellets.. Kelly said he would change the magazine to pre 2018 12 groove but I'd likely have to seat the pellets with a pen to prevent jams..
I have a selection of pellets and I suppose if I had to I could order the sleeve for just a GK1 but honestly I also like to be able to buy ammo locally too.. that's crossman premier hollow point 14 grain pellets.. some say they work fine and other can't keep them from jamming..I definitely don't want to spend the money on the GK1 and then just have trouble and wish I hadn't.. although Kelly seems like the best way to go..
I'm concerned about the GK1 because it seems like they are not uniform.. even Kelly said that the barrel and magazine vary gun to gun..I don't understand that..as I didn't think they were made one at a time and no measuring.. seems like it would be difficult to make every magazine and barrel different.. because I'd imagine that they are CNC machined and set up and ran..I know this sounds bad but seems like it would be very terrible quality control to not have any alike??

Umarex  Notos cocking got gritty

I think what happens is the hard anodizing wheres through and allows galling between the bolt and housing when cocking. High side forces are applied during this operation.
this is 100% accurate.. in combination with the little screw (screws into the bolt probe) that makes contact with the hammer when cocking the lever. the best fix is to replace that little screw with new one made of harder metal, polish the front edges and side of the hammer. if you look inside the channel where the hammer moves, you will see the side wall getting scoured.

will gx cs4i fill a 9l scba tank

wondering if the cs4i will fill a 9l tank or should i look in to a bigger one?,
It will, but i recommend doing it in stages to let the pump cool down. I killed my cs pump on exactly that size bottle, once a week filling and no breaks did no favors to my pump 3k to 4.5k. A dead fill would be even harder imho.

Stoeger  Messing with my Bullshark

Where did you find a heavier spring Neu? I have a 8mm×60x1.2 in my P35-177. I got it from Aliexpress. The stock spring is 8.5x55x1.2. The wire in the stock spring may be a little less than 1.2mm. The 60mmx8mm binds a little on the post of the adjustment screw. It works. I also tried a 50mm long 8mm spring but it is too short to work well. I have one with 1.4mm wire that is 9mm OD. I'll have to drill out the hammer to use it.

The limitation on power is not the regulator, it is the hammer spring. My 22 and 25 came set about as high as the hammer spring can open. When I turned it up the velocity decreased because the hammer wasn't fully opening the valve. Shimming the spring gave me a little more but only a little. That's why I'd like to find a little stronger spring. The 8.5mm OD is uncommon as is the 55mm length.

Other  Reximex RPA Pistol Review (This PCP Pistol Shoots like a $1500 Gun!) Video Review

I understand your concern, but Your choice of sights comes down to your intended purpose. I am a very experienced pistol shooter and there are reasons to have fixed pistol sights. Think short range, concealment and comfortable carry. Then there is rapid target acquisition pesting where a reflex sight is ideal. Then there is pistol competitions where adjustable iron sights are mandated and reigns supreme. Then there are those pistol owners that cannot shoot a pistol accurately. They mount scopes and shoulder stocks. Your call.
except it's not usually your "call" or choice if you follow what I was saying.. look at most rifles.. they don't even come with open sights and unless you want to spend the time in a machine shop there's no option for open sights.. period..to be clear I was shocked to find open fiber optic factory sights from AOA, old new stock, completely discontinued for my Condor.. unfortunately I am having a issue with it, bought them right away and now I have the scope back on.. I prefer open sights but they are just not visible enough,I'm guessing too fine .. or my eyes and not wearing my glasses 🤓.. plus the tank hits my cheek too tight to see unless I use risers under the sights.. then too I have to use extra tall rings and risers to use the scope.. I'm trying to decide if I want to build the gun or what..I prefer to have sights and well even the scope close to the bore.. more accurate for me especially going very close and out to 50 yards.. like it would be totally impossible to shoot anything under 10 yards because it is dead on at 30+50 yards but it's like 2" low at 10-20? ft..
pistol is another thing.. I only want open sights and compact.. point of a pistol is that I can comfortably carry in a holster,I live in the woods and I could shoot any gun I want, noise and restrictions wise.. my daughter visited and shot her 300 win mag and I hated the noise and concussion.. but it's all good as she had fun..
to be honest I think I've given up on air pistol.. I just can't find anything that will be enjoyable.. to be honest I recently bought a brick of 22 LR CB shorts, so that makes my Ruger Bearcat and Wrangler almost perfect, airgun power level and almost comfortable noise..id actually prefer less.. it's 750 fps.

so I have a velox, it's bulky and chunky and a bit heavy, wish I could turn down the power a little bit too..
had a notos that I shortened down to air tube length but it was still too long as a pistol..
borrowed a friend's reximex and I loved it but I can't stand the grip size and angle and I can't find anyone to make a 3D print one.. thought about getting a reximex rpa and reshape it but it's more than I want to do, might be more interested in trying that if I can buy a spare grip in case it turns out bad.
borrowed the s&w mp CO2 pistol and I liked it for plinking but I only shot one magazine and gave up.. too hard to get the tiny BB in holding back the follower..
I'd like a GK1 or GK1 shorty but it's honestly out of my budget..
any suggestions would be great..

PM me if you want to..

FX  FX Impact M3 - Regulators not working

disassembling bullpups is such a pain in the ass too. If you're cracking them open and disassembling, might as well change EVERYTHING. because nothing is worse than fully assembling, charging, and "hisssssssssssssssssssssssssssss" Rinse repeat.
It's not that bad, my marauder is more annoying than my impact thanks to the crosman style air tube full of barely deburred holes.

Gamo  Gamo Arrow review (my first pcp)

Pcp is a great activity to get into but it becomes an investment but there are many "hidden jems" out the there with airguns that don't have to break the bank to be good .ever look into the umarex notos ? Or the hatsan jet sbr both in 22 and I'm pretty sure 177 .both come in I think under 250 nowadays
Oh man after getting a taste of pcp, its hard to go back to a multi pump lol. But I have been looking though the classifieds for a Notos as well. I really like to tinker, and the Notos seems like a good platform for that

Need to PM a member

So.... I'm looking to PM a member, but it appears that I don't have that options when I click on their user name. I do have the appropriate number of posts.

I am posting to see if I can get ***** to send me a message. I hope this isn't breaking any forum rules.

edit: I am interested in something he has for sale in the classifieds.

Diana  Can HW30 main spring fit Diana 240 ?

My diana 240 reached 8000 shots(16 tin can) few days ago and I know the mainspring almost reach the end of it service so I want to do mainspring replacement but I cant find any seller sell that part.
So i do some research and got that Hw30 mainspring is .113” wire x 26 coils x 190mm lenght and diana 240 is .106” wire x 29 coils x 200mm L, both of them use 25mm tube
I have no experience cause 240 is my only gun for many year. But look at those numbers, something tell me that 240 spring cant fit hw30 but that hw’s spring can save my 240
I know this forum has lots of pro springers so Im here to get a confirmation
Thanks in advance and have a good night!
what makes you think 8000 is a spring life ? for me that is 4 or 5 weeks .
