You would help your family, right? Helping your fellow citizens is just a few tiers up the line.
How much? I don’t know it would have to be right in front of me and some certification that it’s actually produced here.

I'm already toeing a political line... My comment was meant to point out that the original statement ignores and dramatically over simplifies so many things as to be nothing more than inflammatory. It leans on the same emotional pressure point as your statement.

N/A  .177 for slugs (primarily at least)?!

So whenever I pick the cal for a new rifle, I don’t even consider .177. I mean, there is whole countries out there being sad about the fact that that’s what they’re stuck with… I’ve got plenty of space to plink so why cripple myself (or so I thought… :)).

Yet, I find myself thinking about a .177 more and more due to “some” people’s influence (not looking at anyone in particular @JaceSpace1369 @RabbitofCaerbannog)… I am almost caving in so maybe talk me out of it? If you want to talk me (even deeper) into it that’s fine as well, ideally with a recommendation for a rifle in this case :) Since it’ll be an experiment of sorts for me I’d probably want to get a used medium tier one first to see how I like it, should shoot slugs though since I’d like to use it for small critters (besides plinking)… Thanks in advance!
The only absolute possible drawback to .177 is handling /loading with old fat fingers .
I only shoot .177 , 80 years old this sept .

Let's talk timers!

This whole timer thing is gonna mess with the tea and cookies I enjoy between shots.

Lol, that's how some shooters play it.

We all start the match at the same time, and it's taking some squads 45 minutes longer than other squads, yet supposedly there's a time limit for each shooter.....the math ain't mathing.

Chasser 177

I have the Diana Chaser kit. You can get it from Pryamyd Air. The kit comes with the pistol, a carbine barrel and a rifle barrel with a moderator attached. You will want to remove the moderator from the rifle barrel and that is not easy as it glued with red loctite. You will need a heat gun. look on u-tube lots information there to help with that. Once you have the moderator free, it can be used on all three barrels. Using the moderator will make the gun backyard friendly. Otherwise IT IS LOUD. MY gun is in .22 caliber and I have modified the valve and hammer spring.to get a little more power. I get about 35 good shoots before the power drops. I wouldn't hesitate to take a squirrel at twenty yards. The gun also comes in .177. I am sure you can get well over 50 shots per capsule in the .177. The .177 might make more sense for a young fella. There is a guy from South Africa on u-tube that has a world of information on these fine little guns. Also, here on AGN, member Marlow knows everything there is to know about these guns. You might look up the BUCK RAIL site. They have some great mods for the Chasers, drop in stocks and such. If I can help. Just holla. OH, about power. MY gun will shot JSB 14.5g at 600fps that makes about 13fpe.

see above
Thank you for sharing your experience with the Chaser. That’s just what I was looking for. I probably would be looking at .177 and maybe even tuning down for more shots. I was leaning more toward a Crosman 2240 type carbine at first but the Chaser also sounds like it could serve the same purpose. I also do really like Buck Rail products. Thanks again,
Kenny

Other  Reximex RPA Pistol Review (This PCP Pistol Shoots like a $1500 Gun!) Video Review

what do you plan on doing for the trigger guard? I'm assuming that you are going to make it a separate piece?
I will make a separate piece and attach to the rear grip, this is to reduce machining time as it could be made from one solid blank.

N/A  First Gun: FX Dynamic vs Umarex Zelos

Question you don’t have any shops that could order FX airguns in for you I would think a mav or wildcat would fit the bill better not nocking on a zelos but fit and finish and support would go to FX by far
Bull pup rifles are not legal in Canada unless under special circumstances like the Impact or ghost and a very few others. The stocks can’t be removable among other legalities. Yep , this limits what we can get up here. We’ve had more than 3000 firearms banned in this country over the last three years and more to come.

Virginia Black bear hunt with the Airforce Talonbolt

I joined up with 2 bear hunters from Russia and Ukraine who brought their West Siberian Liaka hunting dogs to America because they didn’t want to be involved in the ongoing conflict. we also captured a rare to be seen fight between a rattlesnake and a black racer snake!

check it out

FX  What happens if you shoot an FX with the tank pressure below the regulator pressure?

I stupidly dry fired my M3 to adjust the first regulator pressure. Even more stupidly I wound it the wrong way and ended turning it all the way up. Now it's leaking pretty quickly from the vent behind the safety switch. Is the valve damaged or the second regulator or both? I'm kind of looking forward to the challenge of fixing this.

How much more are you willing to pay for the same rifle? Statements like this are isolationist and reductive.

RTI  RTI Mora just keeps getting better.

On the back of my previous post about shooting my first ever 250, I thought it appropriate to follow up.
I simply can't get over how insanely consistent this gun is. Here are another four targets, this time at 50 yards with two different pellets, the JTS 29.63 grain and the AEA 29.5 grain. Would a different day, after many tuning adjustments, produce different results? Well, I'm happy to say, NOPE. :)

Each target represents a VERY SLIGHT difference in dwell setting gradually ending up where I wanted to be, in that 970-975 fps range.
