As well as Taipan and the former company Airgun Royal Thunder. And owning all three, I can tell you there certainly are many similarities.

I know my initial response was kind of unhelpful, that's what I get for posting when coworkers are asking me questions.

I'd go with the left side or center option. I have the one on the right as a standalone fill station and it's a mediocre setup. The one on the left is exactly the paintball fill stations you can buy in Amazon for 50 bucks and I have 3 of those (they're good enough and use more standard replacement parts) and the center one on closer inspection is where I would go if it were me. You will be replacing it one day, but that's not a huge ordeal. Guages get a memory and seals/burst discs go on the import stuff rather quickly.

dmenzeer, Contact John @ New England air guns, we made some moderators for him that will take the GK1 to mouse fart even at full power.
Ask him for the Veradium Air moderator. You can add or remove the baffle cans as you wish. I use on my gk1.

I just take a slug and squeeze it in a vice to bigger than the bore.. The tap it into the bore with a rod... Run it in the 250z case, all the way thru the barrel and measure..

Take a measurement of both ends of the barrel, breech and muzzle end with a caliper, buy a slug that is as close to that measurement as possible, push it down through the barrel , breech to muzzle, measure that once its come out.

You will still probably have to try different slugs but youre going to get as close to the correct diameter projectile that you need before trying different rounds.

In an FT match would you start the timer when you sit down on the bum bag /take the shot and off the timer till the next shot OR does the timer just run start to finish counting all the walking packing and unpacking ?

Did you start with the valve all the way open? Curious what the start fps was prior to tweaking. Those Jts are screaming! Very nice shooting Joe.

Oh, and what's the reg set to? I've been fine tuning mine (600 .25) for 38 grain .250 Zan's but a buddy is doing well with those same JTS pellets you are shooting and 36 grain H&N .25's

I'm already toeing a political line... My comment was meant to point out that the original statement ignores and dramatically over simplifies so many things as to be nothing more than inflammatory. It leans on the same emotional pressure point as your statement.

We all start the match at the same time, and it's taking some squads 45 minutes longer than other squads, yet supposedly there's a time limit for each shooter.....the math ain't mathing.

I wouldn't hesitate to take a squirrel at twenty yards. The gun also comes in .177. I am sure you can get well over 50 shots per capsule in the .177. The .177 might make more sense for a young fella. There is a guy from South Africa on u-tube that has a world of information on these fine little guns. Also, here on AGN, member Marlow knows everything there is to know about these guns. You might look up the BUCK RAIL site. They have some great mods for the Chasers, drop in stocks and such. If I can help. Just holla. OH, about power. MY gun will shot JSB 14.5g at 600fps that makes about 13fpe.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Chaser. That’s just what I was looking for. I probably would be looking at .177 and maybe even tuning down for more shots. I was leaning more toward a Crosman 2240 type carbine at first but the Chaser also sounds like it could serve the same purpose. I also do really like Buck Rail products. Thanks again,

Bull pup rifles are not legal in Canada unless under special circumstances like the Impact or ghost and a very few others. The stocks can’t be removable among other legalities. Yep , this limits what we can get up here. We’ve had more than 3000 firearms banned in this country over the last three years and more to come.

Mr. P yes Veradium Air does service and tune Evanix air rifles. They just annuced we are a USA parts, service and dealer. Have been working on the Evanix line for some time, love the platform. We are re-introducing the semi auto line up with new valves we have developed in cooperation with Evanix this next week.
We have developed valve setups for the Rex and P lines as well.
triplem, Yes Evanix has lower caliber air rifles, performance is very good, happy to answer any questions. I wil be posting an Evanix thread in the next couple days to give folks the info on the new systems development.
NP nice looking setups you are putting together, keep up the good work.
