Thank you yeah that’s what I’m hoping but I guess when you get a new Gun just came out of the market. Some patient is required.

I can open my tank valve before even starting compressor. Once fill whip pressurizes it overcomes check valve resistance & fills tank. Imho it simplifies things by removing the need for another step....or I can avoid another point of potential failure and more cost, and purge the water trap as explained. Yes a one way valve is an option, but why?
The back pressure would come from the release of pressure at the purge and the premature opening of the bottle valve, hence why I let the pressure in the fill whip build to nearly what the tank pressure is.
disassembling bullpups is such a pain in the ass too. If you're cracking them open and disassembling, might as well change EVERYTHING. because nothing is worse than fully assembling, charging, and "hisssssssssssssssssssssssssssss" Rinse repeat.A FX Impact stored without air is a bad thing. I would replace all the orings. If you don’t, you’ll be chasing leaks until you do.
I’ve been steered here also but nobody ( hardly) uses it. So yes I would like an off topic headingyou can be airgun social all over the forum, but shooting the breeze you better do in the social ( i wouldn’t call it forum ) attachment.
I dont think very many even see the social thing, at least you dont get response / feedback very much there.
Hi I have the same crack at the breach blowing air back how did you fix it thanks . I have changed all the o rings on the barrel transfer port pellet probe still the same . Hope you can helpHey @Scott.t were your monocore misalignment issues resolved? I ran into the trigger issue, then dealt with ear-ringing cracking bang near the breach that took me forever to resolve and I had to do a TON of work. Now that I can actually shoot it, I have the same clipping issues as you.
Looks rather expensive. I think one similar could be made for far less. Have a local metal working/welding shop make some steel legs and a rotating seat mount. A few holes drilled through for seat height adjustment, and then a top of either plywood or heavy boards jointed and glued together, Here I could probably make one for a third that cost, maybe less.I don't have this one but it looks nice.

I have a 3D printed sight with a tube on top, but if the LabRadar beam is off center from the face, that doesn't help much. When I get time, I will drag mine back to the 50 foot indoor range and try again with an SD card so I can monitor the SNR. I really need to fix more pistols, not become an expert on the idiosyncrasies of my chronographs...
I've ordered another HT-X3006, but with the Wi-Fi option so I can collect long strings of data and get them into a spreadsheet more easily. I may try to put the two in series to see if they read the same on a given shot. That would give me more confidence that they are working well. It will take a few weeks to get here from China, but that gives me time to 3D print a bracket to hold a pair. I will test them with one of the Hammerli pistols that showed very small velocity variations.
Given that I apparently can't use the LabRadar in my basement shop, it has VERY limited utility for me. Between the Garmin, the FX, the Athlon and the LabRadar LX, there are quite a few options for small radars with wider beams. I have yet to hear anyone bad mouth the Garmin, and it sounds like a few people have had success with one at short range indoors. The LX and Athlon are both so new that there's very little real info, especially for my use case.
I don't think that would be an issue. I had a deck built of treated lumber, nailed together and it lasted over 30 years, and yes the nails were slowly corroding away, I would think that using large screws, lag screws carriage bolts it would outlast most of us, especially if the wood were periodically sealed against water.I would be hesitant to use pressure treated wood. The chemicals used in the wood treatment may have an adverse effect on the steel parts. Maybe untreated wood and then linseed oil for protection.
Great graphics!NEW PRODUCT RELEASE !

Beautiful chunk of walnut you have there. Can we have a dedicated page to the guys that tinker and have tools? This is my jam right here. Too bad we can't discuss moderators tho, that's most of my lathe work lately.Made a brake for the HW30 I’m putting together. Turned it on the lathe and set it up on the mill with a spin indexer to drill 20 holes in it. Looks cool. I guess. Gave it a simulated target crown.
I think I need a black pistol grip cap? I decided on a recoil pad. Brown and black 1/2” thick. No white spacers on this.View attachment 557138View attachment 557137

Store your pcp guns with a charge in them. Maybe not fully charged but it needs to keep the orings pushed into place or you get what you will now be dealing with.I have had an Impact M3 for about 2 years or so. I haven't had a chance to shoot it much recently. It had been leaking around the larger o-ring behind the first regulator, so I had stored it with the bottle off. I am not sure how much air was in the bottle when I stored it, but when I got it out the other day and put the bottle back on it had around 25 bar in it. Much less than I think I would have stored it at. I then filled it up to 250 bar and took it outside to shoot some targets. I fired the first pellet and it barely left the barrel. I then checked all of the gauges and realized that all of them were reading the same pressure - 250 bar. I removed the bottle and fired enough shots to get the air out of it. After I got it down to 50 bar or so on the 2nd regulator gauge it leaked the rest of the air out where the bottle connects. There was some moisture in it.
My question... What do I need to do to fix this? Just replace o-rings? Which ones? Are there other parts needing replacement?
Thanks for your help.
Same here, and rimfireAirgun forums are about as social as I get...![]()
