Not yet! It’s on the list of experiments to run thoughDid either of you ever try cutting the hammer spring? Results?
Thank you for sharing your experience with the Chaser. That’s just what I was looking for. I probably would be looking at .177 and maybe even tuning down for more shots. I was leaning more toward a Crosman 2240 type carbine at first but the Chaser also sounds like it could serve the same purpose. I also do really like Buck Rail products. Thanks again,I have the Diana Chaser kit. You can get it from Pryamyd Air. The kit comes with the pistol, a carbine barrel and a rifle barrel with a moderator attached. You will want to remove the moderator from the rifle barrel and that is not easy as it glued with red loctite. You will need a heat gun. look on u-tube lots information there to help with that. Once you have the moderator free, it can be used on all three barrels. Using the moderator will make the gun backyard friendly. Otherwise IT IS LOUD. MY gun is in .22 caliber and I have modified the valve and hammer spring.to get a little more power. I get about 35 good shoots before the power drops. I wouldn't hesitate to take a squirrel at twenty yards. The gun also comes in .177. I am sure you can get well over 50 shots per capsule in the .177. The .177 might make more sense for a young fella. There is a guy from South Africa on u-tube that has a world of information on these fine little guns. Also, here on AGN, member Marlow knows everything there is to know about these guns. You might look up the BUCK RAIL site. They have some great mods for the Chasers, drop in stocks and such. If I can help. Just holla. OH, about power. MY gun will shot JSB 14.5g at 600fps that makes about 13fpe.
see above
I will make a separate piece and attach to the rear grip, this is to reduce machining time as it could be made from one solid blank.what do you plan on doing for the trigger guard? I'm assuming that you are going to make it a separate piece?
Bull pup rifles are not legal in Canada unless under special circumstances like the Impact or ghost and a very few others. The stocks can’t be removable among other legalities. Yep , this limits what we can get up here. We’ve had more than 3000 firearms banned in this country over the last three years and more to come.Question you don’t have any shops that could order FX airguns in for you I would think a mav or wildcat would fit the bill better not nocking on a zelos but fit and finish and support would go to FX by far
You would help your family, right? Helping your fellow citizens is just a few tiers up the line. How much more are you willing to pay for the same rifle? Statements like this are isolationist and reductive.
Easily able to tune down. Plenty of pups out there to sling 15-18gr though. I think it's rare to find one that can do 50+ so easily in .22.Wow, it looks like you’re gonna need a heavier pallet
At 55fpe it's not back yard friendly but it's a very short quick snap with the new valve internals and hammer mod. Even with a Ronin it's short so making it quiet isn't an issue. Not to mention, theyre a great looking little bullpup. 24" OAL is tiny!!! thats like Caiman territory, whats the shot report like?
Pyramyd was the importer then. I think there were some issues but seems sorted now. I wouldn't be surprised to see Kral back in the next year. They seem to have finally listened. Why did Kral never bring them to the states? I would have bought one probably in .177 and .22 honestly if they did.
good for you , a helping hand is always welcome .I spent the evening putting together a shooting set up for a friend. He has money burning a hole in his pocket. He was set to buy a TX200. But he also wants a PCP for Field target. Hasn’t fired a pellet .
So I am putting together a loaner package so he can get shooting and learn the springer. I’m lending him my Browning Leverage. It was my first FT rig and still has a 12x scope from when that was the limit.
I also sighted it in and found an old pellet trap and and a bunch of targets and pellets.
I am going to have him shoot Premiers first. Just to figure out how to cock and load . Get used to it for a couple shots then switch th H&N pellets the gun loves. He will immediately see how pellets make the man. If you zoom in on the groups your see what I mean.
Lesson one.
