Umarex  Zelos bottle mod

I have an M60b from Wes that i put a carbon fiber bottle on, as well as a zelos that I also put a carbon fiber bottle on. On the zelos I went with the huben regulator adapter to allow for 300 bar fills. Its super easy to clock and install. I did have to change the oring where the bottle connects to a 90 durometer hardness as the original would brake when removing under pressure. Works fine with the harder oring. I like the huben reg that I purchased another spare just to have.

Upgrading from V1 FX Pocket Chronograph to V2 - Is it worth it?

I like the form factor of the V2 much better, but in fairness I think the V1 is much less fussy in picking up shots, especially the reflections of the tiny .177 pellet.
My 2cts: If you want to upgrade to eliminate any missed shots, get a different brand, for the FX chrony V2 is not an improvement in that respect.

Caldwell Precision Turret

The points brought up in the setup comparison table are certainly valid, but the comparison itself is not a fair one As it compares apples to oranges. Look at your own setup: the ARCA rail is on the stock. So the standard Caldwell precision turret clamp would clamp on the stock as well. In stead the table lists disadvantages of the clamp setup as if it was clamped to the barrel or airtube iso the stock.

Anyway, not trying to start an argument here, your setup is very clever and I use it quite often myself (on a ”regular” tripod) in addition to the standard precision turret.

cheers!

RTI  Mora .357 issues

Yes, you are right, we need to expand that part in the manual. You can adjust the travel with that screw, but you will also change the "starting" position of the trigger. If you want to keep the location of the trigger while changing the 1st stage, you have to adjust the connecting rod. If you take off the right cover plate it should be easier to understand what is happening when you adjust those things.

Crosman  Crosman 1322 getting 12 FPE @ 15 pumps.

I just read the mods again you've done. Why are you adding a spring to the valve and expecting more power? You need that valve to open faster and dump all the air at once. Even though it is dumping the air at 15 pumps, it'll do it quicker and more efficiently in terms of power if you Lighten or get rid of the spring in the valve.

Unless you're going for a retained air setup to get 2 power shots per pump session, I don't see the need for even having a valve spring.
I'm gonna remember this thanks

Other  Market value of Aeron B96 CO2 match pistol?

it is correct to assume that few people know these pistols and the hardest part is there value and that could be a negative
but on the flip side these are very nice as are the Chameleon 4 and 5 yes i said 5 it is the .22 model 4
the other thing is they are not seen often and anyone want one will jump to get it
now the is a person on GB he wants 1295.00 and he is mad as a hatter
but a good B96 in 100% working order should be a 500.00 pistol
now back to reality you see in my pictures the B96 the poster has is miss a part below the mag port that on mine has a hex screw and his a slotted screw that it beat up
missing parts will cause problems
an yes mine has a Weaver-Picatinny rail mounted it does not affect the sights and in reality, helps you aim down the slot

Ah yes, I see that my B96 is missing that "cover plate" held by your hex screw. I always wondered why the clip spring mechanism was exposed on my gun and now I know that the "cover plate" is apparently missing. I have no idea what the previous owner did to the gun. Buggered screws bother me too. Thanks for the info and photos.

Western Airguns  Western Airguns Mordax Venom

I installed the Venom Booster Kit. It'll take you 10 to 15 min. I highly recommend using a round Allen wrench as suggested in the AOA how-to video. You'll have a hard time getting to the set screws on both plenum without a rounded Allen wrench.

Used my chronograph for thy first time. I'm not sure how accurate it is.

After tuning it to 140 bar at the regulator I got consistent 830 fps with 15.89 JSB Polymag shorts.

Well im out ...

They are not in effect yet.. some "sellers" have just taken the opportunity to make more money because most TV watchers have no clue that is the case. They raise their prices, blame "tariffs".. profit! because the teevee told their "customers" it was a thing.
Or the implementation of it all has been like a bull in a china shop, creating chaos so no one knows what is going on or what the rate is on any given day or in the future.

EDgun  Leshiy 2

Will put my 9 mm Leshiy 2 for sale soon. 100% stock rifle - never monkeyed it. Like new condition purchased it from Edgun west. Have all the receipts and papers and the box. Will sell it with the Rover mini compressor that I purchased from Brian together with the rifle. I shot it only once right after purchase to see how it runs and this rifle is so much fun and great quality.

Robert Lane closing shop for indefinate period

Which Huma and for which rifle?
this one buddy and it came with a plenum for the artemis p15. 1.77 cal we haven't got a clue how to fix it, or what the problem is! we've put it in the rifle but we're getting no speed (velocity) really the max is just over 400fps😕🤔 weather that's down to the regulator I don't know but it's a brand new artemis p15 and brand new huma regulator 🤔 and I feel like giving up on it, this will be the 2nd rifle.... thanx

Benjamin  Muting the Marauder (How to make the quietest Marauder possible)

The M-Rods with aluminum air tubes do not really ping, it is more of a thunk. With a reg there is nothing to deping. Aluminum tubes are just so quiet in comparison to the steel tubes that ring like a bell.
When you’re 6feet away from your neighbors windows, it all seems loud 😂

@Sdrawkcabnipyt, I think I’m going down the same route as you for the same reasons. Thanks for the documentation! 🤙🏻
I wrote this one for you man!!

Hope it helped. My results with the JSAR hammer actually was not what I expected. The extremely low pressure with the light Hill Hammer and peek striker is by far the quieter option, and I felt I had more control over FPE with that hammer as well.

Airforce  Help Mold texan lss cf .50

The mold you need will be for .510 and you'll need a push-through sizing die as well.
I'd recommend you save yourself the time, money and trouble and buy your slugs from Mr. Hollow Point. He casts pure awesome into every slug and you will be very happy with the quality of product he builds. I've had the opportunity to shoot hundreds of every style and weight slug in Mr. Hollow Points product line, and my personal favorites for the Texan LSSCF are the 255gr. HP attached below, the slug is perfect for 200yds and closer, but for distances beyond 200, the 385gr Macro-HP will let you reach out to insane distances like 600yards. I have also used the 385gr Macro on a hunt with Mr. HP and Uncle Ted, where I dropped a 250lb hog no problem.

I have hand cast alot of different slugs from 155gr on the light side, up to the 425gr Rebated Boattail from A.A.O. and nothing I have done comes close to the consistency and performance of Mr. HP's Pure Awesome.
Blue boxes are Mr. HP slugs
Green box hand cast AAO / 425gr RBHP

EDgun  Edgun Leshiy 2

The leshiy2 is a very cool gun but not known as a power house, its reasonably accurate, not target grade because the pellet jumps from the mag into the barrel like a revolver. The trigger is similar to shooting a double action pistol. It is accurate enough to take game out to reasonable distances depending on caliber and kill zone. I enjoyed mine for a couple years then sold it as it wasn't the gun for me.
Agreed, it is a fun rifle it also definitely attracts some attention from other people. I have one in 9mm Leshiy 2. Purchased it few years ago during riots for home defense. At the time I was not legally allowed to own regular firearms. Likely now I can and will be selling mine soon too.

Post an airgun related pic

Here are a couple of pics of my most recent purchases. The top one is a 2012 FX Elite single shot. the precurser to the FX Royale 400. Not to many of them made it to the U.S. On the GTA, I read that these rifles were "handbuilt by Fredrik."

The other 2 Rifles are ISP Airstream Rifles, handcrafted by Shawn Hill in England. The first ISP was used in bench rest, and the 2nd ISP was used in World FT matches. ISP rifles are coveted in Europe (12+months long waiting list) and relatively unknown in the USA, even though the ISP rifles took 1st and 4th place in the WFTF in 2024 in Arizona! They deserve more attention!
