Daystate  New Daystate Delta Wolf, erratic velocity with advanced setting

I would try a couple of different pellets before doing any sorting. In my experience, sorting may be beneficial for fine tuning, but your variance is greater than I would expect to correct by sorting.
Certainly quicker to do than weight and size sorting!

Other  The Miracle Airgun Slug: Introducing AirMarksman Precision Slugs!

This project has been a long time in the making and Utah Airguns and AirMarksman just changed our sport!

It was Altaros who changed the sport with their high BC, round nose slugs. Looks like Utah took notes and developed a similar slug. Nice to see other companies coming out with the round nose design.

Best grease for GX CS2 et al gear box

I use food grade green grease in my CS3 and have yet to have an issue. I have cleaned and regreased it twice in the 2 years that I've owned it. I am the second owner. The first owner used it very little until he upgrade to a bigger compressor for filling tanks. He went with the CS4 and I think he's upgraded again to the CS5.

All New “ACE” Precision Slugs -

Having trouble seeing the reticle

I asked which model Element scope because the "immersive" ones, 10x40 and 12x50 prism types, have extremely short eye relief, like eyelash distance, a centimeter or so; they claim 18mm but I have one and think that number is optimistic/optomestric.
It could be difficult to see the reticle with glasses on unless the glasses are pressed up against the ocular, and the eye pressed as close to the glasses as possible. I have trouble seeing all the reticle: if my eye is in the perfect spot for the center cross, I can't see the edge of the reticle if I just move my eyeball, as that is enough to move my iris outside the tiny eyebox. I have to move my eyeball AND my head a little to re-center my iris. Took a while to learn to do this, and longer to figure out why.

FINALLY....they came out....

Extremely nice layout for shooting. Great that the drone can take such cool pics too!
Keep up the good fight with the vermin.

To the right, at the fence is about 10 acres or so of grazing land, I happened over there, it's over grown but lots of rodents. I'm not going there, no permission, and not fond of tall grass and ticks. BUT, I can shoot through the fence and snag what I can.

Skout  Everything Skout EVO and Epoch

It seems I have chronic reg creep! If left for 5 mins it goes up from the set 85bar to 114bar any ideas, been through the reg, but can't find any obvious reasons, this could also be the reason I can't get a decent shot string with stable FPS, looks like I will have to get a new reg anyway just to check.

Having trouble seeing the reticle

I am an optometrist. If you have a moderate amount of hyperopia or myopia, your eyepiece can usually be adjusted to compensate. If you have a small amount of astigmatism it won't matter a whole lot but if you have more than a small amount you will do better with glasses on. Also consider you may want good vision when looking around the area...glasses on for that. Safety? Never a problem till it is.

Barrel has just over 500 shots since purchased so I hadn’t thought to clean it. Chrony was cleaned just before taking the shots in the pic. As soon as I get a chance I will weigh and head size some pellets and retest with them. Thanks for the ideas.

What is a good thread locker in blue

For a Blue Locktite replacement I have been using Vibra-Tite VC-3 for some time now. It allows me to assemble and disassemble parts without having to worry about issues of binding or needing heat to release. If allowed the propper curing time this product seems to hold things as well as the blue stuff.

N/A  First PCP - need advice (Notos vs Stoeger Scout)

If you gonna hunt, get the scout. The moderator for the scout is like 30 bucks from buck rail and it makes the scout backyard friendly. the scout also has the punch and power for more distance, and humane quick kills. Especially in .25. Scout has a 5 year warranty. All in all, the scout is just an all around hunting/pesting rifle, where the Notos is more a lightweight close in pester.
