I like them both, bottom one is very nice but could live with the middle ones finish also.

That is called a hamster for some reason.Noob question here. What is that bar under the gun called that he is resting on his hand. Thanks.
What would like a pic of? The owners manual recommending the 10.3 gr pellet? Not a single pic in this whole post...
Yea...rightNo idea, it was via email and I have slept too many times since making the purchase.

And quail, doves, and some woodcock.Probably wont find any wild chickens to hunt, but there is turkey.lol
It's a .30 cal. Eventually I will likely get a .22 barrel kit to bring down the cost per shot. I may look in to a digital thanks for the advice!Nice Evo
cool anodizing
what cal?
on the gauges, a digital gauge is very helpful on the Skouts to dial in a specific tune on the HPR
not certain on the Evo’s thread for that…it is different from the earlier Epochs
A good buddy purchased one when 1st out @ 2018 and his did all match up & looked stellar due to this![]()

I just bought an fx impact M4 sniper 25 caliber they're doing groups at 50 and 100 yards five inside a dime at worst five inside a nickel at 100 yards with pallets if you go slugs you could reach it out to 150 200 yd and sometimes further with a good meal Dot scope I was told 25 grain pellets were best I have also hunted in Kern County Buttonwillow Taft and surrounding areas for landowners in their almond Orchards and Alfalfa fields for squirrels rabbits coyotes whatever it took to help out the farmers I always did it for recreation I did that for over 25 years let me know if you need any help I still have all my contact information and paperwork that they signed proving what I'm saying is true no use for lying in this industry took them a while to trust me Hunters do not have a good name being that some of them say their Hunters but do stupid things good luck buddyHey Everyone,
New member here. Looking forward to all the info and knowledge you can offer.
Farmer, California, ground squirrels in our almond and walnut orchards. Squirrels are super skittish and won’t come out at all if I’m any closer than 80-ish yards - no matter how quiet I am, how still I hold, or how long I wait. I currently use a Savage B17 Precision that I love. I’m making fingernail sized groups at 50 yards with it. But it’s super loud and I’m having to wait 20, 30, 40 minutes before another one comes out.
Been looking into PCP air rifles for a while. I need something that is very accurate and consistent at 80 to 100 yards (I understand that wind/weather conditions will be more of a factor). I need something that is super quiet. I need something that I’ll be happy with for a long time without wanting to upgrade to something else in a few years.
I called Utah Airguns and spoke with them. Very helpful and informative. They helped me narrow down my possible considerations to a single build. I wanted to get some opinions from others on the following:
Impact M4 “Sniper” variant (700mm)
.25 cal pellets, 34 grain
Element Theos
Impulse moderator
Backbone and Loki rail added to rife
Bag rider added to rifle
Assuming I do my part on good trigger control, follow through, and shooting posture (on a table or laying prone mostly), and assuming wind is at a minimum or no wind at all, what kind of groups would you expect from a build like that in the 80 to 100 yard range? Should I have it tuned for slugs instead? I’m seeing a lot of conflicting reviews on YouTube on if pellets, hybrids, or slugs are better. Should I do a different caliber or grain? I’m seeing some people say that .30 cal is the way to go.
I appreciate any feedback and insight you all might have for me. I feel like going to air rifles is A LOT to learn. I apologize for any autocorrect errors or mistakes - typing this all up on my phone.
Perfect shooting competition will reply tonight. ThanksDepends on what you want me to be more specific about. But I'll try.
I'm 3-4 days into setting up and playing with the BW and since i have 2 Ghosts with all available calibers, and three Redwolfs; one is .25 for EFT, and two Wolverines, including a wolverine sapphire, i have direct ownership and setup comparisons to offer...
I must mention that my general use of airguns is more directed towards field target 10-55 yards and usually in .177 caliber although i have a .20 Raw pistol for pistol HFT and A Brocock Commander XR Pistol for pistol EFT.
Regarding comparing to the Wolverine it is easy... the ability to adjust reg pressure and hammer spring tension easy peasy and the restriction on T.P. limitations have been addressed and you get an adjustable cheek comb and a M-lok accesory spot on the forend.
Regarding comparing to the Ghost, the ergonomics of a traditional rifle tend to be easier to reduce the center of scope to center of barrel and thus it gets easier to achieve a repeatable eyebox. However, the quick change artist we call the "Ghost". remains king of the quick change world.
Regarding the Redwolf, the RW's electronic valve system does rule on air efficiency and a VERY gentle shot cycle (i like quiet and smooth) and with no hammer spring being cocked, it doesn't get any easier or quieter.
Please remember that i am comparing the most basic BW model in .177 to the other platforms i own.
I do think the BW is shooting so well, it could easily use a pricier scope to improve ranging ability / distance estimation.
All this and with the Sighton S-Tac 4-20x50 scope, and selecting a 300 cc bottle, i was under 10 lbs all in weight.
Depending on how this new FT shooter feels about the S-Tac, we may or may not upgrade... his eyeballs are not my eyeballs.
Hope that helps.
