Glad they were good in your Barra! Again so far all the guns I've tried them in I've been very happy with. Have tried quite a few in the past and same thing just not great. But these seem to just be a very good slug.I tried them in my Barra 250z and the 20.83gr KO's are the bomb! Definately, after 11 different slugs, this is what I was looking for. Thanks for the tip, because I never would have tried .216 without your recommendation.
Before you decide to just rebuild the regulator or replace it. Look at your mow rings because you have several o-rings in that area. Yeah, including in the top hat, as well.maybe i should. i was planning on tidying up the belleville washers the next time i get the gun degassed. a new regulator would be next if rebuilding the oem regulator doesn’t do anything for me. ES is never higher than 17fps which isn’t terrible so i’m leaving it as is for the moment. i don’t shoot a far enough distance for that ES to matter

Both my kids spread were single digits. My last k1 22 which preferred .223 slug would should do an ES of 3 and a SD of 2 or less within a full mag shoot 28.5gr vk slugs at 970. You may need to slug your barrel
In a butcher shop I saw a old cow take 5 regular 22 lr rounds to skull..Head to thick, didnt penetrate..a knife finished it.. A regular youg steer a 22 lr round worked perfect.. Same applys to hogs a 6 month market hog a regular 22 lr works..Old sow or boar takes alot more.. My custom 22 cal condors will shoot 55 grain at 1050 fps.. I want more penetration than regular 22 for thick skulls or older animals..I grew up on a farm. We raised beef & hogs. I have never shot wild hogs. I have shot lots of hogs & beef on the hoof for butchering w/ .22 shorts (hogs) & long rifle for the beef cows. Those distances were sometimes measured in feet ,but could be 15yrds. The energy from shorts would penetrate the hog's skull & (usually)
stop in the brain. The long rifles (solids) would penetrate into the shoulders (not good). Remember that a .22 airgun has significant low power compared to
a .22 rimfire short. I have a Bullshark in .22 and I have taken groundhog #3 of this season w/ it at 28yrds using 18+gr pellets . I needed 2 shots . I have taken
over 200 G-hogs w/ .22 caliber airguns at ranges up to 100yrds (slugs & pellets). BUT , I would not recommend any .22 caliber gun unless it was putting out 48-50 ftlb.s with a heavy ,hard slug, under 40yrd.s something the 'Shark can't do. Some folks have done it , for sure , I just think it all has to be perfect to do so.
Just my 2 cents. Enjoy the Bullshark.
MIchael a reflex sight is the only way to go, but going to the rail adaptor you chose sets the sight height too high above the barrel. This sets up the requirement to hold over the target at close range. I tried several different reflex sights and mounts and I now use a reflex sight that has a 2mm dot and 12 different intensity settings. I found this best for all light conditions. I also use an adaptor that converts the 11mm rail to a 22 mm rail without raising the sight height. They use two wedges and are very inexpensive. I now shoot my GK1's more than any other airgun and I am considering another one in 177 for low power pesting. You will be incredibly impressed with their accuracy and trigger. I feel they are every bit as accurate as a 10 meter Olympic pistol with a lot more power.
The Amazon oring kits are often 50-70 durometer hardness. they will pop like crazy under high pressure. Sometimes you'll get lucky and one will hold. On amazon you can get Captain Oring "paintbal o ring kit" of 90duro has Nitrile/nbr, Urethane, And fluorine orings. I use these. They work EVERY TIME. I had a MURDER of a bad time with the plenum to valve connector seal on the Snowpeak P35x. the Amazon "75a durometer NBR oring kit" the 18/14/2s were blowing out like a hezbollah beeper. Pop in the CO'ring 90 and Voila. hasn't lost a single bar since.troubles started with this eBay plenum. Couldn’t get one of the three joints to seal. Then took bottle off. That hasn’t held full air since.
So tube back on and got the plenum to hold air. It’s actually the Huben leaking. Have had a dozen 7x1.5 and tried lots more. These are amzon
oring kits . It’ll be nice to play with the other guns. View attachment 555532
I own mostly Airforce brand pcp..That being said they choose to use german barrels..They will need to use A USA made barrel like ER Shaw or Green Mountain barrels to name a few.. I used to work at ER Shaw barrels in Pittsburgh Pa. The steel used for the barrels comes from the steel mills in pittsburgh pa..My lother walther .510 barrel was super rough,,the ER Shaw,Green Mountain Barrels, make the same or better quality.. For us with PCP, our air source for under a $1000.dollars is all chinese.. A american made compressor or booster even used are $3500.00..ahhh I can,t afford a compressor that cost more than my car..Could these tariffs be a blessing in disguise for American airgun manufacturers and a few other nations .and is it possible for these companies to say ,drop all guns 10% off retail .could a company corner the market and still make nice profit while satisfying consumers?? I know probably a pipe dream.
