Kalibr Tac II magazine cycling problem

Take the stock off and adjust the spring pressure on the detent for the magazines. Lessening the pressure will help. Problem here is that if the detent is tension too much, once the indexing arm forces the mag to rotate, it takes quite a bit of force to begin this motion. The release momentum will cause the mag to over-rotate.

I also modify the mags. I create a ramp for the detent to easily get the motion going.

DNT Zulus 5-20 V2?

Does anyone own the DNT 5-20 V2 and the V1?
I have the V1 and 100 yards is fuzzy
It seems they may be using the same Sony chip but I read on the DNT website that the V2 rivals good glass?
Anyone know if this is true?

Have not used AGN in a while but put up this video of some Turkey where I do farm pest control. I am currently heavy in Thermion equipment but have been testing this V2 Zulus from DNT wow. I have vids cracking some Coyote heads with my .30 cal airguns and the infrared is absolutely marvelous. LED infrared vs DNT's laser infrared is big changes for me. My 5000.00 dollar equipment is sitting while I am testing this new stuff. I see 100y with no problem at all at night and day. Will have to post some stuff here I guess.

Welcome , Brother.
I hope you find all you need.
Before purchasing a red dot, be sure you don’t have astigmatism. Go to a brick and mortar and look through a couple.
I wish I did.
There are other options, I’m just going to work with it.

What was your first Pellet Rifle?

Daisy Powerline 880 that my uncle gave to my father. It was the spark. Had many other Daisy and Crosman models in my youth. I purchased a used AA Pro Elite 25+ years ago as my first really serious air rifle. What an introduction to springers that was! Wish I had that one back, but I've acquired many very nice examples since. It's a great hobby!

Taipan  Taipan Slash first tuning report.

Here's my Slash shot string from a few days ago that I would like to share..... I'm very pleased with it.

Taipan Slash Tactical Compact .22
  • Fill Range: 290 bar - 170 bar
  • Reg Setting: 165 bar
  • Pellets: AEA 25.3
  • FPE: 50.5
  • Total Shots: 58
  • ES: 28
  • SD: 5.1
A couple of notes:
  • Notice that shot's 1 and 37 are a little higher.
  • I have three 12-round pellet magazines, so must reload after shot 36 which takes 4-5 minutes.
  • Removing those two 'first' shots would lower ES and SD a bit.

Accuracy is excellent with this semi-auto. I was able to hit my 90 yard 1" target 7 times in a row from a bench... best I've ever done with any PCP including my excellent Huben K1's.

The superb Taipan trigger, plus being able to keep my eye on the target without movement or cock between shots is the key I think.

Thank you for the detailed information, Bernie. I just got a Notos mod with Huben dream valve and 300cc CF bottle. Perfect for my backyard. But...I'm already researching the Slash, Ghost and Delta Wolf. I used to own an Edgun R5M, but sold that when I moved. Really nice gun.

How are you doing, brother? I’m also a disabled sure. Yes, like you though. I do get to use brake barrel it does get hopefully hard with you only have one hour in my case. I only have my left arm and I used to be right arm and right eye dominant. Based on my experience and have own several DCP rivals, I think it’s an entry level rifle. The best deal right now would be on a Pinty bull pop or a beeman they have good selection on both of those brands and either regular rifles or both I myself should be with my left hand it being right Dublin prefer the ball but if you’re gonna be shooting from a bench, it doesn’t really matter. You normally get a little bit more shots out of his other rifle but nowadays whether you buy a ball or a rifle you’re gonna get at least 50 shots the rest of the equipment that you’re thinking of sounds very good to me. I found a PCP to be much easier to shoot than any brick barrel or CO2. I would say if you only shooting 20 to 30 yards a scope with 2 to 12 or 4 to 16 it’s all you need plus if you ever think of actual hunting there a lot easier here to live with but again if you’re shooting from a table something that goes up as much as 24 hour it’s good to have or if you just planning a bunch of paper you don’t need a scope. Something from PD or another one of those Amazon brands will do you pretty good and if you order it from Amazon if you don’t like it, you can just send it back if you have any more questions or you wanna tell us more about the connection you’re actually gonna do please post it and I’ll be more than happy to answer any questions that I might be able to

Buying used rifles

I agree this site is a good place to buy a used rifle. Bought a Red Wolf from a frequent poster. Never met him but positive contacts throughout the process by email, PMs, and phone.

AoA is great for preowned guns. Very happy. And my local club is the best because I know the sellers and their guns.

Buying used can be a very good experience. Good luck and cheers.

Tuxing TXEDT032 4500 psi Compressor problems

Assuming you know the gage is good and compressor is Not loading and deadhead plug in hose end and All valves closed no leaks...should take under a minute to get to 4500 psi. If you bought it new you need to contact them for instructions on return/replace. If you bought it used then you may be in for a teardown and inspection.

Conrad - sorry to hear about your recent incident and wish you a speedy recovery.

If you had a break-barrel prior, then it seems you had nominal 12ft-lb gun (?). For ease of use and convenience it seems to me, a CO2 gun may be the best option; if staying under 30 yards. It's just hard to beat the convenience and finding the cartridges is like purchasing gasoline (at least in this area). Just my two cents worth - Good Luck.
This is what I was thinking if was basic neighborhood squirrel control and ease of use is paramount. Too bad the 850 is discontinued. Was an excellent CO2 gun and easily transformed to HPA. A nice QB78 would fit the bill as well, but I guess those are now under 'Beeman' brand. Cant speak to others and dont know how the newer QB's compare.
