What pistol did you shoot today

Today’s ..Day wasn’t so much as what I shot..it was more about which one could not hold it’s breath after a week…these were recent rebuild and resealing …gave them all a new Sparklet …and time will tell…most of them were excellent a few down insignificantly that wouldn’t mean nothing for a shooting session…but that old saying…there’s one in every crowd…lol..the S & W 79G had a lung 🫁 collapse…pretty sure I left the original hammer valve looked and sounded good at the time…don’t care to much for the plastic ones in the kits but they do work ..??? has anyone out there ever tried to repair a brass hammer valve seal

Skout  Everything Skout EVO and Epoch

Here's an odd one for all Epoch owners, if I run an fps test indoors using my LMBR chrono I now get 8 and 9 fps spread with two different weight pellets over 10 shots yet if I go to the range and use my FX chrono and do the same i will get a spread of low teens to mid-twenties, if the FX is used on other guns at the range they are also single figure fps any ideas what going on.

I should also add that I tried it through a friend's top spec radar chrono with similar but only low to mid teen result.
As far as I know Chronies are a bit like decibel meters, difficult to compare their numbers to other chronies , but they do make perfect sense on their own ,as long as you use the numbers from only one to come to a conclusion.
I own an FX pocket chrony and after i serviced my regulators my speed differences over +-80 shots are +- 1-2 fps, if the hp reg climbs a few psi i might see a 3 fps difference.
That is all done at the range, I will put some pics up of the range which I am very fortunate to have all to myself at the moment!

Tuxing TXEDT032 4500 psi Compressor problems

Thanks for all of the info. I'll check some things out this weekend. One thing I noticed, the oil is quite a bit darker than it was.
Also, what is the function of this breather thing? I noticed there was air bubbles coming out from behind this when spraying soapy water while the compressor was running. I'm assuming that might be normal?

Yes, normal.

WRABF World Cup Finland 2025

Amen!

You guys brought your ‘game’ to Finland.

Like Stan said earlier, congrats to all the participants. It’s nice to see the comradery and friendship, especially in our challenging world today.

Nothing like a great match or hobby to unite air gun enthusiasts around the world.

Newbie (with physical limitations) needs your Experienced Input/Confirmation Please

Oh thank you for adding to your explanation if 5 to 6 pounds seems heavy. I would definitely say try the jet one. I have one. You only really get about 14 shots per fuel, but the tank is very small only 40 cc so if you get a tank to refill it you probably get 20 or 25 refills all the way to 250 bar. It’s super light it comes with sides. It is very easy to put a small or medium size coat or a red dock. It also comes with two magazines and a single shot price. I got mine doing a sale for about $100 but look around there’s other options coming up all the time.
Well I figured that pistol would be much easier to handle one handed 🤔. Thanks for sharing 👍👍

FX  Boss trigger

Ok, I've been a gunsmith for a long, long time, both powder burners and airguns. I've tuned, many hundreds of triggers over the years. ONE TRIGGER, ONE TRIGGER has been the bain of my existence. The Boss trigger.
I've tried before and didn't finish the task, to put one from parts in a Crown. I know how it goes together and how it is SUPPOSED to work, but could never get it done.

I'm restarting from scratch, so anyone who has any ideas, I'm going to put the Boss in my Crown.

Please let me know any ideas and help you can.

N/A  First PCP - need advice (Notos vs Stoeger Scout)

What is the noise level like? Enough to alert nearby neighbors that you’re plinking?
So I took mine out and shot it a few times with and without a moderator. You'll definitely want a moderator. Without one you'll be saying "wow, that's kinda loud". With one you'll be saying "oh that's not bad at all". Can't explain it much more than that. There's always going to be 'some' noise when shooting, so nothing will be totally silent. If you buy a Stoeger, I'd ask the dealer what they recommend for a moderator. Hope this helps.
