Air Venturi  All Air no Bang

Gents,

Filled my Avenge x to 300 bar according to the compressor. Felt the tank warm up during the process. However the reg and fill gauges on the gun both read zero? Thought both gauges must be wrong, but once I opened the bleed screw the tank spewed out air. So we have plenty of air, but gauges read zero and no bang once I cock the rifle and fire off a shot.
Sounds like your Regulator is closed. Try screwing it CCW, just a bit, Don't go wild. Cant expain the fill gauge, But, if you screw the reg CCW the reg gauge should show movement

AEA  First Big bore

I have a AF Texan 457 that I traded for 9 years ago still shooting and taking deer I got a nice 8 point last year with a 280+ grain hollowpoint I cast myself, I also have a AEA .495 50cal Element Max and the same rifle in 58cal haven't got to hunt with them yet only problem I've had was the fill port check valve leaked on the 58 a call to Bin got the parts to fix no cost it was used and had been sitting in the fellas closet.

AEA  First Big bore

I've got a Challenger Elite .457. Like the gun, had over a year. Waiting on a replacement barrel, as I got a crappy one. That only bad thing I can say about it, besides it's heavy.
Pretty much any Chinese gun I'd recommend bore scoping the barrel out of the box. Mass production and QC doesn't go together well over there.

Other  Break Barrel VS. Underlever

I have 13 Weihrauch's in three calibers. Only two are underlevers. One underlever, my 97K is easy to shoot accurately because its moderately powered at 13 Fpe and heavy. It's probably the easiest airgun I have to shoot accurately. Probably my most accurate Weihrauch is my first. My 177 Hw95. It's almost two lbs lighter and makes closer to 15Fpe. It requires more concentration than the 97 to shoot well. But it will shoot better.

If I thought I'd do field target I would still choose the 97. It's generally more accurate than I can regularly shoot the 95. It's not the swinging barrel at fault on this gun, it's the lighter weight and higher power that makes it harder to tame. That said my 97 almost never sees daylight because its so heavy I just don't enjoy shooting it. But it is easier to shoot accurately. Mostly because of the reduced recoil and increased weight.

That said I still recently bought a Beeman Mk1, 77 that I'm still playing with. That may fall to the side like the 97K when I get bored with it.

FWB  Does the FWB 124 have a Walnut stock?

Motörhead is wrong. You are correct.
I see nothing inaccurate about what Motorhead stated. If you read closely, his post says that low numbers of 124/127 Deluxe models were produced by FWB in walnut, which is correct. In his first sentence he only states that the Factory Walnuts were not "mass produced".
Many of those factory walnuts ended up in the US market and some in the European market.

Daystate  Delta Wolf - Why isn't it more popular?

For me, I will not purchase any sort of firearm or airarm that utilizes batteries, chargers, screens, software, updates or any of that.
To each their own!

There is something to be said about the advantages that a Red Wolf & Delta Wolf bring to the table however! No hammer spring to fatigue. Sublime trigger. Increased lock-time.

PCP Pistol  NLA Feinwerkbau Air Pistol P11 & case. $850 shipped

Excellent condition. It has the case and everything that came with it from Airguns of Arizona, purchased in 2023.

Asking $850 shipped in the CONUS. Paypal friends and family or add 4% to cover fees. I'll take a check(or cash in person), but will need to wait for it to clear prior to shipping. I'm in NE Ohio, so you are also welcome to come see it and shoot it at my place.

Snowpeak  artemis p15

I've got ataman on the mind 🙃 ignore me 😅
🤣🤣 no problem buddy well it look's like the mrs has found a way to make them I'll let you know if there any good. they wasn't even able to fit in the valve but can now and the white plastic has been sanded down just for the spring to sit on then all that need's doing is them shortened.

Air Venturi  Avenge-X Tactical Carbine Leak - I’ve exhausted all attempts!!

Any pcp has a fill point check valve. If it's a foster fitting there's a pin and an oring. You can just replace it with an Amazon unit, or clean out the bore and put a new oring on. A discovery I just bought had the seal extrudong past the sealing faces and leaking air super fast. Just clean it out and put a new one on with an oring. The principle is the same for a probe gun, it's just more disassembly. If the valve pin poppet is leaking, you need a new poppet or poppet end.

It's not terrible (to me). Once you understand your gun inside and out it becomes rewarding to problem solve it.
If the issue was the foster fitting check valve, wouldn't the air leak be coming from the front of the bottle? If so, than it must be okay because all air is coming out of the breech. Being that's the case, you feel the poppet head is not sealing correctly?

Taipan  Comparing the Taipan Slash compared to the Huben K1 - Whether to buy a 1st release model instead of waiting for new owner feedback

Look forward to your impressions after you receive your Slash. The one you are getting is exactly the one that I am interested in! Hope that it meets your expectations. If so, it will probably be my next purchase.

Jerry

My impressions of my 25 cal Slash Tactical with a 420mm barrel are listed in another discussion thread on Taipan Slash tuning, along with high/medium/low power tests with over a dozen different pellets and 0.249 slugs. I was very impressed with the overall build and function. The magazines are really excellent, solid metal with 13mm deep cylinders. I only bought mine with the intention to test it so that I could post the power performance results on the forum, and then just sell it in the Classifieds.

I'm at the tail end of my association with airguns but I still like to offer my sales at a good discount so that other people who are not as well funded as I am can afford to try something better than they could usually afford. I've gotten over 1/2 of my many airguns from various classifieds over many years, most of which I could not have afforded otherwise. So that's my way of passing on the same option to others. My Slash was posted for sale in the AGN Classifieds last night. If you've been hoping for a good deal on one someday then this may be your lucky day.

FWB  Does the FWB 124 have a Walnut stock?

There was a gentleman from the UK who appeared to be knowledgeable about the 124 series, believed about 100 factory walnut stocks were produced.
I've only recorded seeing eighteen posted about. Serial numbers range between 495xx and 55xxx.
