EaZy Trigger Fill for PCPs

Hold up...
Did I read that right? Did they recommend to bleed it off after filling the gun? Do they mean bleed the whip between the tank and the EZ? If so, would that not defeat the purpose of the dang thing in the first place?
I must admit... I was one that got suckered into buying an original for $180. If I'm in that big of a hurry to refill the gun and continue shooting I'll just leave the tank tethered. :censored:
As for wasting air... that's why I own compressors. ;)

Maybe I should offer mine up in the classifieds.
No, please read my very first post.

I connect the EZaY fill from my GW and can fill the same gun ( or several others also) as many times as I want “without“ bleeding it after each fill. Here’s an example:

So, I connect my fill hose with EZaY from GW to foster male on my gun. Fill 6-8 times from my regulator setting or higher to desired max fill range. At end of session, I bleed GW ONE time.

Just like in Steve’s AEAC video.

Does that clarify?

N/A  GK1 slow leak

I filled my Gk1 to 32 mpa and let it sit for four days it leaked to 28 mpa. I did the same thing with my other Gk1, it has held at 32mpa. I checked the brass screw underneath the loading gate and there doesn’t appear to be leaking there. Where else should I check?
Buy a can of aerosol leak checker and start spraying around the ends of air tubes, fill points, and if those show nothing put a balloon on the barrel.

Official Thread - Alkin owners - check in!

Question about wiring: the wire from the “control box” has three wires: blue, brown and yellow with green stripe. Blue and brown connected directly to double pole 30 amp breaker in panel. The yellow wire? Does it connect to the white wire (in panel) (neutral)or direct to earth ground?
I just updated my sub panel in my house with 3 conductors and ground wire. Neutral and earth ground are separated in my sub panel but are connected at meter box outside 40’ away.

HW97 UPDATE

Seem like super nice guns. Did they stop making it in the blue laminate stock ? Don’t seem to be able to find that version anywhere.
The HW97k is one of my favorite Weihrauch rifles. Highly recommended. I have seen the laminate stock models offered occasionally at different vendors. Krale and Mundilar will have them in stock, set an email notification. I think I received three or four notifications on different models last year.

Another route is Custom Stocks UK.

help with moderator for Evanix Rex P 9mm/.357

I just picked up a pre-owned Rex P in 9mm/.357. Can you suggest some moderators to quiet it down??
Thanks.
Good Shootin!!
DarryH

I love my .357 rex P... got a used one here years ago. That thing is loud without a moderator that's for sure. I ended up getting one made by Neil Clague - very reasonable price and high-quality.

Thomas Air  Damaged skirts, does it really matter?

Lee Precision - 90036 SIZING DIE KIT .225 These are for sizing lead bullets. You may have to modify the end of the punch to fit within the skirt, but it will round out and size the pellets. I do some reloading and have kits for what I reload. I made a sizing die for the pellets modeled after the Lee dies, the diameter ending up at .2245 and works quite well. I never tried shooting damaged or deformed pellets, so I don't know if there is an improvement or not; just thought it wasn't a good idea to shoot deformed pellets.

Does Tuxing own ToAuto compressor company?

I own 2 Tuxings, the one the left I have had 4 years and the one the right over 2 years and serves as a back and i do every 2 months switch the one im using so i can do Maintenace, change oil if needed, check air filter ect.Parts i get on Ebay. I have rebuilt the one on the right, both will out produce the gx cs2. With any compressor you have to pay attention to temps and oil break down. So, I guess it comes down to if you're filling a pcp ( gx-cs2) or tanks -Tuxing

HW35 any good?

Beeman sent this test report with my R10 after doing a “super tune” back in 1998. Not sure exactly how to read this either. Is it 5 shots or 10 shots?
View attachment 571577
im guessing here…
this was a 5 shot group

High was 972
low was 958
extreme spread was 14
average was 961
standard deviation was 5

New to air guns

I am new to Air Rifles. I would like your feed back on recommended first gun. I would like to semi auto used for target practice or hunting. I have been told FX would be the way to go, but no semi auto. I am looking to more of a tactical style. I would appreciate input.
Welcome and definitely read the recommended thread!
your budget will determine the quality of the semi-automatic you choose. I have a Steyr ProX10 that is a flawless Airgun but I don’t think it’s the right choice for a new Airgunner. Lots of benefits to starting with a smaller caliber and a basic magazine system

All Things PARD Night Vision & Thermal Optics - Master Thread

Hi.

According this vid, Pard Night Stalker 4k has "Y" reticle adjustment more then +-75 (at this vid (Y: -126)
But I can't set a "Y" number higher than +75 or -75, what makes zeroing impossible. And the device Night Stalker 4k is useless.

Any ideas what it is?

PARD_Tech help please

PS. Installed latest firmware Nightstalker 4K, Release Date: 2024/04/29 (FWPDDS37.bin)

I'm having the same issue's with my 4k. Have mounted it to a Hatsan sb65 elite and am not able to get it to zero on the Y. I see there is a 2025 firmware now. Did anyone manage to get it running? Mine does not want to update to this firmware.

Golf cart to have a different job

I hunt 99 percent of the time from a ground blind (coyote racoons and woodchucks). set game cams out then setup the blind accordingly. I hunt Tethered and from a tri-pod and that can create a problem with setting up the tank and regulator, I realize it's not a new idea just thought I would share. The cart will be able to mount a 6.8-liter CF tank and above it a mounted inline regulator. It will soon get a cameo paint job and I will post again when completed.

Parallax Wheel

I hear ya. I definitely believe in the law of attraction. I also give people the benefit of the doubt first.

At my first attempt (as a complete noob) in long range rifle (NRA High Power Match), I asked the guy I got "squadded" with a question about the bullet drop at this distance. His answer, "It's your rifle, you're own your own." I don't THINK he said that. He actually said it (verbatim) and then went back to measuring his cartridges. He was a dick.

The 3rd time I went, I brought my daughter. They squad'ed us together, which we wanted, because we were sharing the rifle. But instead of putting us each into a "relay" (1st and 2nd relay)... they forced both of us into a single relay. So instead of the 20 minutes a shooter gets in his / her relay, we had to split it, into 10 minutes each. In hindsight, I should have just bowed out and let my daughter shoot the full 20 minute relay. They were jerks about it. And it was my 16 year old daughter's first (and last) competition. She's actually a VERY good shooter, by the way, and has serious potential as a competitor.

Nope... I tried competitive shooting.... and it sucked. I'm a pretty good shooter, too. I've been in the firearms world for a very long time. I find most shooters at the range to be great people and I enjoy being around them. I like gun people! I will often offer other shooters the opportunity to fire my guns (I've got some interesting pieces). So, this is not a case of "seeing the world negatively." I'm a very positive person and happy in life. I'm also a "people person." Ask my wife! I'm the social butterfly of the family. But shooting competitions?? Multiple sequential bad experiences... specific to shooting competitions.

Sorry for the thread drift! But now I know the reason for the giant parallax wheels! ;)
Man oh man - what an ugly experience! No wonder the gruff. I’ll go on record here as saying “99%” of ALL the HFT people I’ve met were the exact opposite of the experience you had - even the mental ones like me🤪
Give us a try sometime and I think you’ll be very pleased!!!

Huben  Does Huben GK1 hold pressure well?

first release ones have a very slightly undersized valve that can slow leak from high pressure. mine does sometimes. temp changes exacerbates it. it will stop leaking at around 250 bar.
they can also get a leak from the check valve. mine has done that too...but that's a 5 minute job to replace, and kit comes with a spare!
