AEA  It is going to get CRAZY in the pcp big game air rifles!

Their reputation is the biggest killer of AEA. Higher air pressure does not proportionally quantify to a higher shot count, yet you gain added wear and tear on regulators and seals. Plus you add weight for thicker materials to contain that pressure.. With a massive big bore it probably goes from 3 shots to 4. In my mind that's just not worth the price to play for "special" equipment. I'm all for big bore, but at a point a powder burner just makes more sense. I'm sure there are use cases in between, that's just my opinion. Id love to get a 400fpe air gun for deer, but it's not worth the wear on my compressor. Let alone a 7000psi AEA compressor bought for one gun. All I seem to kill anymore is squirrels, and a snapping turtle last week 😂

Yong Heng after piston replacement

Yong Heng calls for hydraulic oil in a manual, but I never said anything about hydraulic oil, I'd go with a compressor oil, which isn't the same thing.

As for a specific compressor oil, I did mention Amsoil compressor oil, which would be an excellent choice to run in any HP compressor IMO.

FX  Wildcat consistency problems

Yes, if I do need to use the screw and dial it in. That is next on the list. I had to mow all day, so the cuts into my shooting time, dang yard! But having an 8 acre range is pretty cool.
I think you almost have it if I was you I was lower my second right is the way you have the hammer set up right now by about 15 bar and now it start rolling back your hammer spring in eighth of the third at a time until you find the speed that you’re aiming for if you end up a little too low, create your regulator 2 pounds at a time up and then use your hammer spray adjuster until you find the speed you like but I definitely think that you have made some significant improvements on how you can shoot now I haven’t heard anybody say, but with really matters as accuracy repeatable accuracy think about that one this number is don’t mean a thing if you don’t have repeatable accuracy, thank you for your patience You have proved to be a lot more patient than I am myself specially considering that it sounds like you have a lot of nice dance. I’ll be looking forward your progress sincerely, your friend Will

Happy to have given my oldest son Grant his first pcp, fill tank, pellets and scope today and I apologized to him for the addiction that follows lol. He said that he understands how that happens. Great guy to hunt and pest with and now to make more memories with him having his own rifle. Asked him to join us here on this great site and share his experiences.

Aim line , poi, to target position

There's a lot of psychology in shooting. Your brain may let your aim fade further off center due to asymmetry of background clutter or other unconscious visual cues. It seems like your "additive miss" reacting to position is reasonably consistent. It would be fun to test it with a scope...

Pellet Groups at 100 yards

To be even more humbled. Shoot one shot in bull #1, then move to bull #2, then #3, #4 and #5 then back to bull #1 and repeat. End up with 5 shots per bull, 25 shots in total, in 20 minutes. Then see if any of your bulls are MOA?
Yes, and this was my point in another recent post with someone posting great groups at 100 yards. I think it’s much easier to shoot 5 shots at one bull, vs. shooting one shot per bull and rotating.

Not so easy to claim MOA for 25 shots doing it this way.
