Who are "they?"They run a 20-30% off "sale" year round. Kinda lame tactic but thats how they do it.
Good question Tim! I will try and contact Tony @ Talon amd see.....We tried JTS, AEA and JSB 25 grain pellets. It STACKED the JSB’s (deep). It did not like the JSB (Shallow) pellets. Since the JSB Shallows and the AEA and JTS also have shallow bases I wonder if the poor accuracy of those 3 had something to do with the seating depth? I’m not sure if the seating depth is adjustable on the Vet???
"I guess I am a swallow person", *******here,The Bullpup sure could shoot good, the price was right, butt,I could not get over how ugly it was.I know that brand has other newer Bullpups that look a lot better, I'm going to have to spend more...$200-300+ more, which then puts it on my waiting list.It not like now or never,or is it? It is not like I can see the Pup when I am shooting it,but then again I have to hold it.
I guess I am a swallow person,I do have custom stocks on my good looking springers, they looks and also feel better.
I am of the mind that looking good and holding are somehow related...Who cares how it looks as long as it performs good,I do.![]()
No, I meant something else . . . but first I'll say that as much as I love the Huben K1, I do find it easier to shoot a traditional rifle accurately. The ergonomics, coupled with the higher polar moment of inertia, simply let me hold the rifle on target in a more steady manner, and that leads to better accuracy. Adding the great Daystate trigger (it is nicer than the Huben, even though the Huben is pretty darn goodn - especially for an SA).Why is this? Do you prefer the Huben's form factor and operationally?
Interestingly, some K1s seem to be extremely accurate. I've seen 50 50-yard shot that is virtually a hole-in-one type of accuracy. One guy on Youtube shoots 300 yards and wasn't a challenge enough, so he took 4 shots to hit 2 coke cans at 500 yards. I know, sounds preposterous. I think his is a customized, but I'm not sure how.
Also, THANK YOU AlanMcD and Arzrover for your great info.
