Good point about reg break- in. Just rebuilt mine and recovery times were terrible. After 150 shots down to about 3 secondsIf you do any adjustments on the hammer spring or valve spring, it takes few shots for it to settled, reg pressure, same thing, after cleaning barrel, new gun. Just do some shooting, put 100-200 pellets down the line if you have new gun and check again
Done it myself after using it about 100 times. Put on wats wrong with this now an realise it on the wrong wayI am ashamed to admit it. But you are right I had it on backwards. I looked at some pictures and videos and realized what was going on.![]()
This my 1st choice of solutions!here you go, I bought them O-Rings, installed and what a miracle, first slow shot fixed with $5 o-rings, WOW, enjoy...

Give the kids a workout until they are stronger. Then any break barrel is available. An excellent springer (I own 2 of them) is the HW30S. My son and daughter learned to shoot with these rifles at the age of 6 and 7. This was actually my first air rifle I bought back in the early 80's. They are fun - for parent and kid - and (again) will last you a lifetime. You can't say that for the el-cheapo PCP stuff. And pumping up a PCP is a phase we've all been through, it get's tiring pretty fast.
They are nowInteresting... the Garmin is available on Amazon, but not the Athlon.
Contact Gongetit on this forum. He also makes the baffles for inside the tube.
My compact has the trigger guard pic rail. Balances nicely & keeps it trim.I have seen the inspire bottle band before. I was looking for a barrel bottle band , but now considering a metal trigger guard pic rail to keep any weight completely off the bottle , or barrel.
We tried JTS, AEA and JSB 25 grain pellets. It STACKED the JSB’s (deep). It did not like the JSB (Shallow) pellets. Since the JSB Shallows and the AEA and JTS also have shallow bases I wonder if the poor accuracy of those 3 had something to do with the seating depth? I’m not sure if the seating depth is adjustable on the Vet???Great advice Tim.
The 25g MRDs are the only pellet I have not tried.
I will tune the HS up a bit and see if it can get to 920 fps.
Tx….
He lives!!!Nope, no interest in .177 from more than a handful of people.
Thank you.Excellent cards!
Great advice Tim.Great shooting Tom. I sold my Vet II to my friend and he is loving it too. He tuned it up to shoot MRDs and it does much better in the wind than the 22 grain pellets. You might give those a try. I think his tune is about 920 with the 25.4’s.
no idea, depends on the weight of the projectile and speed. weights vary from 27g to 60g and moving anywhere from 700-1700 fps so anywhere from 70fpe to 200fpeAny idea what a 22 short or long rifle is at that yardage, asking for a friend.
