The Clearidge 4.5-14x40 with duplex dot is a good scope and should work for hunting. I used one for target shooting and it's a quality scope.

Yep, but then my veggies aren't growing right so who the heck knows. Most of the squirrels I've been shooting are young and there are a lot of them. The permission is too far for me to go over often to lay out bait for them. I need my faithful retriever Pete, I also need to be able to see my turrets, it's getting harder, a company MK Maching, makes a magnifying glass for them, that 's next on my purchase list. I also need more stickers, I've mislaid 2 of my sheets. I suppose I could get a DNT but I like my Arkens.

I've been assuming that the Pinty P-Force are made by SPA given that they are clones of Snowpeak rifles.

Where do you get your O-rings for the GK1s in the USA from Oring suppliers? Probably will buy a few dozen just in case..

Accurate and inexpensive is a tough combination. Most of the low priced pellets I've purchased over the years have been disappointing but there are occasional lottery wins that keep me playing the low odds game.

Lately, the best value I've found are the Norma heavies in both calibers (9.1gr and 17.6gr). Granted, not as good as some of the more expensive brands but far better than Crosman.






A word of caution on ordering pellets from Amazon...a lot of people have reported a high rate of shipping damage. My experience was similar. Here are the JSBs they sent me.


They graciously sent replacements...which also arrived damaged. Pellets that are shipped in carded packaging tend to fare better.

That thing.. has been used loads lately, and finally got a CF bottle on 500cc´s at that. A 300 bar one.




Have it running around the 100J/73fpe mark approx where it seems to thrive. This might sound weird being me, but it kind of feels done. Just plain delivers n shoots 22cal slugs like was it going out of style.



Seeing all i´ve bolted on there, the scope especially, if there´s one thing i wish for it´s that i could make it 2lbs less in weight.
Buuut... i´ll survive.

Thank you, I looked at this but DNT states with this mount the channel is wider than the ridge under their scopes, the mount will also shift the optic forward so my eye relief will shift, the height will lower from 1.54"to 1.2" and the total length of the base is very short compared to other one-piece QD mounts. I am not sure this the right solution as my current setup (height and eyerelief) are perfect.
