Scopes with center dots and suitable for hunting?

Thanks Jungleshooter. I prefer SFP, short range would be 15, Longest around 100. Ideally under 600 bucks.

Yes that reticle has a nice center dot and looks like it's illuminated which is even better.

I am looking at Midas 4-16X44
If it's a Midas TAC series then those are FFP.

Pellet Groups at 100 yards

That's completely opinion. I have guns I'm happy hitting an 8" gong at 100. It's for pure fun hearing the ding. I need SUB MOA for a benchrest gun. Big bore on deer a few MOA is accurate since you have a larger kill zone. We'd all love to have everything touching but that's simply not possible with everything.

EaZy Trigger Fill for PCPs

:) I don't want to be an @rse but where you guys finding 300 bars refilling from a bottle? Especially from those small ones.
I tried several times to top up my 14L bottles (I believe these are the largest scba we have seen so far) to 300 bars with multiple last push, after an hour cool down max I was reading on the digital gauge about 280 ish. So I gave up pushing my compressor so hard several runs only to get a very last 10%.
Just asking for a friend ;)
I refill with a nice slow, cool Shoebox compressor, so I don't lose much of anything on cool down - maybe a few bar, but no more than about 5 or so. So a fill to 4500 psi easily ends up a bit over 300 bar. The first few fills are easily that high out of the 9L, but I used to have the issue you face when all I used was my Joe B Guppy, which I think is a 1.8L or so bottle. That was part of why I added the 9L to the mix . . .

Could a regulator creep in the heat and stay at a higher pressure?

How about the hotter air being less dense? I noticed with both my long range capable guns that the poi is high when it's hot out(relates to the range and where in the parabolic travel the pellet is for your setup and initial zero, tilted base etc) but the regs and plenum are cool and indoors. I did have a gun get hot, forgot, and at 55 yards shot a full 10 inches high and made a spicey sound. Looked at the plenum pressure and it was way high. It took 3 shots to level it out.

Don't be flustered by this, you got good data and can plan for it in the future!

Scopes with center dots and suitable for hunting?

Hawke Endurance 4 x16 with illuminated dot, great for low light squirrel hunting, very nice scopes. I have one and really like it.

Pellet Groups at 100 yards

I'm new to to 100 yard pellet shooting. What is considered to be a good group size shooting .22 pellets at 100 yards outdoors?

JackHughs
That metric is highly individual I think. My metric is rodent head shots. A golf ball or better for hi power hunting, if it's just a target gun, each impact better touch another. These are only my opinions and they probably stink. Also this is dependent on your gun, I spent enough money for confidence checks, the weak link is the goober behind the trigger for me.

Temecula, CA Field Target Report 2025 07 06

Posting events would be of benefit to those that may wish to attend. If not to shoot, but at least to watch and visit.
Possibly using the AGN "Calendar" might be a great option?
Just a suggestion.

These Temecula events are essentially practice matches among friends at my home, they are not open events.

Scopes with center dots and suitable for hunting?

honestly not sure, i've not been in a position to trial and compare...i would imagine that your assumption would be reasonable...and they are a bit less expensive. i'm not a big fan of returning items, i always feel bad about it but perhaps in this case if it was just an exchange it might prove to be a suitable option?
