Hi Stan,

Mainly Pest Control, We have a dwindling flock of egg laying chickens and i'm tired of feeding vermon and setting traps. I just want to get a quiet set up that is very accurate. As I will be shooting at night, i'd like something with a day/night scope or thermal, but I understand that will be more expensive. I'm flexible on the price with a scope and extras

Did y'all know that the plastic caps from the valve stems on your car snaps right onto a foster fill probe?
I hate fill probes. I wish there was some kind of international law that they all have to be the same and fit ALL guns.
I mean, how many different size o-rings does a guy have to keep on hand? They should also come with a built in GPS locator.
I leave them in the gun and snap a valve stem cap on them. They are available free at your local Walmart parking lot.

Sorry I forgot to mention it, but of course, a worn magazine may be the cause of unreliable function.

Good ideas! I was able to take the cap off knob and remove stop nut and then take knob off. Looks like the picture above with square shaft and threaded part. I’ll think on it and see about finding some type of extension or spacer / knob. The large gauge ( not shown) is the issue. Thanks

Buy from someone with excellent feedback. I shoot nothing but Brocock and Airmaks at the moment, but several others come to mind. The two I mentioned are as bulletproof as you’ll find.

I keep my probes in 3 places , but not in the gun,, it is just a matter of personal choice,,, no wrong answers,
1: on the compressor hose
2: on the scba tank hose
3: in the storage box

Oh man, don't get me started on FedEx... Last four packages I received were all "damaged". Basically, re-packaged with items missing or just an empty box!

Grew up racing cars. The smell of clutches and brakes burning. The race gas all contained lead. Now we don’t drink from the garden hose.

I shoot from different windows based upon the targets position. So just move the screens down so they are not in the way and open the window when I am lining up a shot. Squirrels sometimes react a little to the window opening but normally they do not run off. Standing is more difficult than sitting but I use the window as a rest which helps. Paper targets get shot from a built in bench on the side porch.

All we have now is that it’s a 14 round magazine but we have specs on the .22 Mini that are really impressive and should translate over to .30 fairly well.

Even if we can only get one magazine at 800 ft./s in the 30 standard and 700 ft./s in the mini, which is purely speculation by the way, that’s unbelievable for such a small platform and short barrel

I also found a fill probe for my SPA guns on Aliexpress that works great, better than the OEM ones. They are only about $5 each so I bought several. Nice to have one for each fill source and at least one spare.
