I would simply put it as every manufacturer has their own build specifications. Same as with clothing, shoes, etc. Not all sizes fit the same.

In simple terms, lead is softer than steel. The projectile will go through the barrel, but if there is too much resistance, it's probably gonna affect your accuracy, velocity, etc, in a negative way.

Like I said, for several years JTS Airacuda Max Has had this clipping problem and GTS continues to deny that there's any problem. So it's a defective gun and I recommend that you return it as defective and purchase something like.an Avenge-X in more or less same price range.

I'm replying to myself here. I'll probably never have accuracy data to post for my maverick .30 sniper since the only time I shoot paper is when sighting in at 50 meters. At 50 meters slug groups have never been MOA -- close but just not there. I like looking at the slug rigs you other guys have, so keep 'em coming.

Most were 40 yards or so but anything out to 100 is easy. My son is 5 and he shoots off a tripod with an arca plate. The moderator keeps the noise down also so that help him feel comfortable not like my powder burners.

JTS continues to deny that there was ever a problem with clipping in their acm.

Where did you buy it? Did you contact the seller?
I believe that you should contact the seller or JTS and request a warranty replacement as this is clearly a defect and is unacceptable.

While the Airacuda Max Has many admirable features, I would avoid that and consider purchasing an Avenge-X from Pyramyd Air

Hey all! I live on a farm with a fairly long flat driveway, probably 175 yards. We have a major ground squirrel infestation, burrows all along the driveway. Anyway, i'm wondering what your go to rifle would be in situation like this?
