I might have one on the way IF the guy decides to actually sell ,Finally got my hands on one of these mythical air pistols. Is it as good as everyone says or did it disappoint? You will just have to watch to find out.
Mike....again....so SORRY! You had that cut rifle barrel RAW for a long time built by Martin......sigh.....No movement of the package.
No updates or calls from a representative.
No delivery attempt was ever made ..the package went on a trailer and was never unloaded
I would think they would start to look where last reported, but zero effort has been made
Fed Ex will close the case soon ...will use other carriers in the future
Replacing the rifle will not be the same
It's like losing a friend i kave known for years
Have to hold on the a string of hope, but it is gossamer thin
Thank you to all for the well wishes and helpful suggestions
Mike
Is your shooting going to be mainly in the back yard? How close are your neighbors? A .177 Cal is cheaper to shoot and uses less air per shot . It also doesn't carry far so if you are shooting at a squirrel and miss you don't have to worry about hitting someone or something and damaging them or it. You need to take into consideration how much hand pumping to shooting is acceptable.
Curious on what caliber, grain, and velocity you are shooting with those settings. I want to set my low power to about 9fpe, shooting .177
Slugs, probably not, choked barrelI wonder if it could shoot slugs in 177?
“Synthetic walnut“ LOL
Makes sense. I did not go into classifieds yet, as I don't know what I'm selling. Was hoping to get a ball park or some additional guidance before I put it up for sale. My father-in-law gave me a spring Remington a couple years ago and I still have my 40 year old Crossman. I'm not interested in having all 3 and I rarely use any of them. You might want to read and follow forum rules about selling in classifieds instead of trying to sell in a round about way on forum.
If you want to check out this postJust so you know.. those guns that are spelled out are Chinese guns rebranded by Diana. I have the Two Fifty. I like the gun but it has a heavy trigger and a harsh shot cycle. I had to put a Hammers scope on it. They are NOT German made Diana guns.
Might want to question Midway on that.
sounds like you got a good plan....let us know how they performI haven’t shot them yet. I just got the mold last week and finally tried it out yesterday. I’m hoping they shoot well out of my standard Challenger 24”. After I did my preliminary sort, I ended up with 240 of them for an hours work. I’ll get them washed and lubed today. I’m thinking of using the same 10w silicone oil as I use on slugs. Anything else I should try instead?
