Huben  Any issues or problems with Huben gk1 please share your experience

Interesting, something i should of done way back. Swap the calipers over.
Ran the 25 cal barrel/mag on the 22 block.

22 cal as is 30 fpe
1 mag 25-30 FPS spread
2 mags 80+ FPS spread and climbing.

25 cal on 22 block 40 fpe
1 mag 21 FPS spread
2 mags 51 Fps Spread (peaked at shot 28 and then decreased)

25 cal as is 40 fpe
1 mag 10-15 FPS spread
2 mags 35-40 FPS spread

22 cal on 25 block 30 fpe
TBD

All the F’ing around with the 22 block and it looks like its the barrel/mag or caliber itself not playing well with the valving.
Still need to test the 22 cal barrel on 25 block. If the velocity spikes .. that will totally rule out the block as the issue. The 25 as is gets the best numbers.going to be interesting to see what it does with the 22 barrel.

FX  FX Dreamline

I'm friends w/ a person w/ a business that cleans out estates. These folks had already moved and only wanted a clean out and cleaning. This was going to the dumpster, believe it or not. Guy asked about it after and said we should have also taken its compressor. At the time I had no idea what I was looking at or that one was required. I bought a floor hand pump so I could try it out. Seems totally functional and it is legit. Attached picture of other related mounting hardware, etc, All included. I can thro in the floor pump if needed.

Other  Wasn’t looking for another but…….

Like the title states, I really wasn’t looking for another rifle but this strange one came up and I jumped on it. This time another UK made rifle only a Webley. A very good condition Webley Osprey supertarget. This is my first Webley and my first tap loader. Strange setup indeed .The previous owner ( member here ) had it posted on the CAF with a few minor issues like the trigger wasn’t working but the price was right.
I received the rifle and was able to get the trigger back together and working. I shot a few pellets with a red dot mounted at 10 yards ( indoor range) single hole. Didn’t put it over the chrony as I knew I was going to get into the internal workings to freshen it up anyway. It was shipped with an Anschutz blade sight and a globe front sight. I promptly scoured the internet and found an Anshutz 6705 rear and new glove front sight set that are correct for the rifle. I am however missing the Webley adapter that sold with this rifle when new from 3/8 dovetail to 11mm. I’m still looking for a solution for that one.
Anyone who’s ever held one of these rifle can attest to how muzzle heavy it is with the 3/4” OD barrel in 19 3/4” long. What else could I do but chop the barrel. I removed 6 1/2” , took the OD down at the muzzle end to refit the globe sight block. But I ran out of my supply of blueing solution. I’m pretty fond of the Brownell’s Oxphoblue . If you take your time with it I find the final blueing turns out nice and black compared to other off the shelf products I’ve used. The seller also sent me an HW seal which I’m still on the fence if I’ll install it or not. We’ll see once I tear into the internals. That’s three springers over the last two months. I swear this is the last one . Hahahhahhaha

possibly the best slugs

Big thanks to Rich Briscoe of BARS Slugs 👊

Not all slug makers are the same—and Rich proves it. While many big-name brands chase one-size-fits-all designs, Rich takes a different path: building slugs that actually fit the shooter’s needs. No generic molds, no mass-market shortcuts—just precision, consistency, and a real understanding of what works in the field.

I’ve moved away from buying what others want to sell. Now I run what’s built for my setup, my goals, and my standards. That’s what Rich delivers—and it makes all the difference.

Thanks again, Rich. You’re raising the bar for what airgun ammo should be.

Diana  Springer Shooting Technique

My understanding is if you shoot h&n pellets this is 10 shots each one hole 😜

🤔 Hmmmmmm.... 😏

Lol....

Glad your diana is working out enjoy 👍
I suppose you knew this was coming , but how far away was this target , and what were you slinging those H&N with , and what caliber.
Man that's great looking 10 shot groups can you post a pic of the rifle OldVet wants to see .

Interesting challenge...

I'm also having to address increased rock squirrel activity and population around my home.

#1: Killing one with something like your Sheridan is doable. That is what I used to kill one.

However, since running off other rock squirrels, they have become more wary than that first one, which sat eating on the ground, totally unconcerned that there I was aiming a big brown stick at it from no more than 25 ft away.

The big problem is not which gun, but how to get kill a squirrel that is not high up in a tree (rock squirrels both burrow in the ground AND climb trees), or running.

#2: Therefore, I think setting a baited Havahart trap is probably easiest, and that is what I just bought. It cost about $41 at the hardware store. Another $60+ for a multipump gun will allow part 2 of the plan: killing the trapped squirrel. This way, power for killing from more than very short distance is not a concern. All your friend needs to learn is how to set the trap and operate the gun in the most basic aspects.

#3: The suggestion to trap it and drown is an option if she doesn't want to use a gun, period.

The need for an aired-up gun ready to use on short notice becomes irrelevant once you use a trap. The total expenditure could be as low as $41 plus a few bucks for a large, deep bucket. Unless she WANTS to learn to shoot, there is no reason to make this more complicated than that.

N/A  Newbie looking to buy used complete set up

Justin welcome to the club. I see no one suggested a Scope so let me suggest your looking at Leapers Scopes (UTG) products. All the usual 30mm or 1" tubes with all types of reticules plus Red-Green battery powered feature. Well I would like to suggest a Sight Mark Wraith Model SM18021; Wraith HD 2-16 x 28mm Day or night. Electric Infared Red (IR) for at night. I have had mine for 3 years now and it is amazing. The software is unbelieable and you can put your hunt on an SD card. I think they are still $500.00 with the base attached. The nice thing it is always ready when needed. No waiting for daylight just push a button (3 levels of power ) and it is daylight. Good luck.

Stressing on Rifle Cases, here's a soft case that actually fits

I apologize , i should have just kept my mouth shut , to much coffee this early hahaha
When these come through Amazon they are folded and fit into tiny, many times vacuum sealed bags and take a while to 'reinflate'.

N/A  New pcp air rifle.

That’s a tough one rifle do all task. It’s just my opinion but I will never be convinced 30 cal in an airgun is a great choice for deer. 357 min and then you move out of a backyard plinker unless ammo prices aren’t a factor. I think if the focus is medium to larger size game something like the 357 mora or western sidewinder would be sweet.
I have been eyeballing the western for sure.

N/A  New pcp air rifle.

The mora .25 600mm was my first "premium pcp" (over $2k). I bought it 2 months ago. I did like it a lot at first, but I have a slow leak that developed, i found the gun empty. After refilling it you could hear it leaking down the barrel. Cocked it and dri fired it, that did slow the leak down, but its still leaking. Very slow like 10 bar a day. Im definitely disappointed, I expected better for that price point. That being said the mora has been good until the leak.
That's a super bummer...way to much money to be having leaks so early on. How is their customer service?

A .30 caliber is going to require A LOT of air. How are you going to fill it? You are going to need a tank and a compressor. Will have to budget accordingly.

I agree completely. Life is too short to have only one PCP. I settled on five. And a couple of pistols but they don't count. Really, it's fine. Well I might need one or two more now that I think about it. :)
Pistols don’t count!!!

Remember that. It got me out of trouble the first time I said that to my wife.
Problem was that I was dumb enough to use it a second time…

N/A  New pcp air rifle.

The mora is a nice rifle, FX panthera/dynamic, Skout, Daystate. There are tons for benchrest as well. I have a nice USA made Skout Epoch in the classifieds, there are a couple Raw hm1000 in the classies also US made. Daystate delta wolf is in the classifieds, and also karma red panda. Any of those will do what you want.
I think I saw your add it is one of the rifles on my list...I will contact you as soon as the app let's me and if it's still there I'll get more info thanks!

What did you do airgun related today.

Started working on some custom foam for my Karma EQ hardcase. The case comes with cut foam, but I needs to start from scratch in order to make it work with my Zulus and also make a spot for my Moderator, magazines, etc. so here is my first attempt, not too bad! At some point after I get it all dialed in, I will use some spray adhesive to make it more permanent.

Does your head spin?

All I can say is that I would hate to be a new comer to airgunning today... There are way to many options available and many will fit specific needs. Add to that the fact that everyone has an opinion on what is better than another.
But wait... it gets worse...
Many look to online reviews to help them choose.. so misleading are these guys pumping out these great reviews in the hopes of getting the next free gun to play with. Have you ever seen Guy Fieri on Tripple D spit something out and claim it tastes like crap? Well, maybe an egg.
I think I would just have to jump in and grab something that appeals to me. Then I would hang out on one of these forums and listen to the real World users with an open mind. Makes some friends. Many of us are more than happy to have fellow airgunners over to try out our guns... we are proud of them.
A range that permits airguns is another good place to join and hang out.

Diana  New Diana Chaser Through the Chrony

Hi marflow very nice build. What velocity and number of shots do you get with the 13" barrel? My chaser only has 8.2 inch barrel I get about 465fps with about 4 mags. But still loud with wasted gas. I just received a brand new 19 chaser barrel to cut down into a carbine length around 12" but have not settled on length yet. I also got a right hand unmarked stormrider style breech to finish its rifle mode.

A tank is not "needed", a compressor yes.
