Well, my old Zulus is going to the highest bidder or the junk pile. I put it back on my Sapsan, got it sighted in, images were decent enough to work. Went to my permission it was a bit warm and oh damn, the screen is dark again. Messed with the brightness but that wasn't the issue, it's heat. It's awesome in the dark, but right now I'm not doing any night shooting and I most likely never will. Oh I did manage to get two ground squirrels with it, even if it was horribly dark.

Gents thank you for the ideas. It came down to the thickness of the gauge washer. The replacement washer was thinner, allowing the gauge to screw in deeper blocking the air passage.

BTW the big hit is the fact that the de minimis exemption on orders under $800 was ended. We were getting imports duty free. (Krales)
It's killed the cheap "direct from China" eBay stuff you could buy as well.

Had some time so went to the Association, Sandie has been after to startworking on the squirrels in her yard. Only problem is, it's a jungle and very few clean lines of shot. Anyway, I set up in the 'front yard' with my Sapsan, it was my first PCP but I couldn't get it to work well so I got the Mavericks and the Raptor. I had the Zulus on it, note BAD MISTAKE again, it really doesn't like the heat. One squirrel starts across the drive and I hit it, but it managed to make it across and under some junk where i couldn't get it. I'm waiting and another shows up, sold hit, gave it a few more just because. Using AEA 18.3's, forget the speed. Waited a bit longer, and looked in some other areas but nothing standing still.

When I inspected this one looks like I hit the spine at the base of the neck. It was so hot my phone was dark, couldn't see the screen. I've got a video from the Zulus that I'm going to post later, just shows how dark the darn screen is....or I'm assuming it'll show up. Has to be heat related.

This rings true for me. Another big factor is the cost. All of these mods and additions add up really quick. I’m still on the fence but the used stuff here is making it harder for me as I definitely can see wanting to add stuff but when I look up the price I’m like that’s as much as the damn gun!

Yeah, I'd like to see a bunch more information.

How about a POS to load, How about the only 25 caliber pellet I found that would not jam is the GTO pellet,

There was a guy on here getting the parts and putting them together and calling them his gun and build.. Price was still 1000. to 1400 just depending on how you wanted it built ...

Fourth coat rubbed on including the 2 sanded in coats. Spending only a few minutes a day on it. Patience

That's a good point, I didn't realize the falx was ad wide as it it. With the 1350 are you running the same caliber as your gk1? I'm reading about how some people opt to ordering the next caliber up with some mods.

Hello Airgun Nation - joined back in 2024 (?), but haven't really had time to participate until recently. I'm in the Houston Area.

Might check the shuttle area if cleaning barrel doesn't work. It's possible a pellet got snagged when loaded and some lead is stuck in it or the lead in area of the barrel.

You can clean the barrel with a worm patch without taking the barrel off. Cock the gun and leave the lever open and insert it from the right side of the receiver.

I was using the 45gr. Jts in my 30 caliber guns. Fx m3 and Skout epoch compact both preferred the Jts pellets. Interesting information on the bc. What I noticed also was the jsb pellets seemed to be more effected by wind.
