Thank you bro that’s very kind of you to say…. I have to say when it comes to airgun stuff it feels easy because my experience has been so incredibly positive, in theeee forums as well. It’s a big part of why this hobby has completely taken over 2025 for me. No regrets haha!Just have to say your disposition is refreshing. The world needs more of you. Especially the online world.
Just went downstairs and tried it again. No change. The fan that sits above the compressor motor (adjacent to the coolant reservoir) comes on and runs for about 2 seconds, then shuts down. It cycles like this continually. There are no bubbles in the lines - I've checked them all and see nothing. Thanks for your suggestions. Maybe it's time to change continents and try my luck with a Hill compressor after I get the refund for this one.I'm willing to bet it's air in the lines. Please try that (again?) before returning it!
The local FX shop sent me a valve with a completely wrong size. The head was bigger and wouldn'tAny update? Did you get this remedied?
I appreciate the suggestion, but yeah, I tried that as well. Cover was removed to check wiring/connectors, and anything else that would look suspicious. Couldn't find anything obvious.@LW737, did you already clear out air bubbles? Turn on the fan and water pump, then gently lift the rear up to about 30 degrees. Then put it down and do the same with the front. Then check the fluid window again. It's helpful to do this with the cover removed, as you can see bubbles and fluid moving through the tubes.
I thought my water pump was broken until I remembered to do this during initial setup. That "fixed" it for me.
that's when you gotta listen real hard......No water needed, but I find the ultra sonic detector to have a hard time with leaks that take a few weeks to leak down.
Thanks. I checked all connections/wiring, and found nothing wrong. I'm just planning on getting a refund and probably going to try my luck with a Hill compressor.Contact GX. I currently have 12 hours on my 5K1, so that's 36 top offs on a 97 cf bottle. No issues so far. Also have a CS4 with 50 hours on the clock. These things do get banged around pretty good during transit, so something is probably lose.
SHOEBOX CLONE OF THE TANK? PLEASE EXPLAINShoebox clone off Amazon for about 150 dollars? Fill in sessions.
Agreed. That's one of the first things I looked at. No loose/intermittent connections found. The most likely (but not guaranteed) cause of intermittent operation is loose connections.

Thank you for that! I usually use the calls as my first identifier. The mourning dove call is very different. Then in my eagerness to shoot I thought that shadow on its neck was the ring. Definitely the wrong choice but we live and we learn. There’s so many viable species to target near me that I try really hard to make sure I’m shooting the right ones.Nice shot! Good on you for owning up. An identifier besides the spots (Mourning) and collar (Collared)-the Collared Dove's tail is square, the Mourning Dove's is pointed. Also the Collared dove is usually lighter in color than the Mourning dove.
Yeah totally. That’s why I was looking up juvenile collared doves. We have a lot of both mourning and collared doves near my house and there’s lots of fledglings about. Either way it was a bad call on my part but I wanted to post because the sound was just sooo good haha.Adult Collared is a fair bit larger bird than an Adult Mourning .... Think smaller Pigeon size![]()
Yes, you can use your .25. We have some .25 caliber on the leaderboards. Can I use my .25?
Thinking the larger pellet would be a little unfair with this scoring system.
Sadly I’m not in Europe. Although I did live in Germany and France many years ago. I was mostly just kidding haha but thank your for asking. That’s very kind. This was just a 2hour "work". Not really a day. There are plenty more for the Next weeks. Its a nice playground for food.
My uragan2 is much quieter then the "thud" of the slugs hitting. I was surprised how much noise the impact makes. I"m really happy with the setup.
I have some friends that are wanting to go with me, I have other PCPs to try out, even though this is my main rig. Are you in europe?
