My m3 in .35 does the same thing . At one time I believe it held the air but not positive as it’s now 4 years old this spring. I am at 170 on the front and 140 on the rear regulator after a fresh rebuild and new huma extra heavy setting .

Great shooting Tommy. One of the issues I had with my Caiman when it was new was the cover over the pressure gauge kept falling off. Finally I looked at it closely and it was obvious the laminated wood stock was pushing the cover off the gauge. A little sanding like you describe for your fill issue and that issue was permanently resolved. My more long standing hobby is woodworking so that sort of issue is much more minor for me than things like figuring out why a regulator doesn't work properly. But it's fun to learn new things too.

Martin likes to get you on o rings. Don't buy multiples, buy 1 set and measure them and publish a size list on agn.... And buy them elsewhere.

Yes Sir that will probably be the next order of business within the coming months. Been a springer all my life, but then started dabbing in mulit-pumps, then CO2, and now PCP's are beginning to look attractive. At this point, I wish I could de-clutter and choose one, but they all seem to have something which catches my eye - and wallet; Oh wretched man that I am.

An FX dream line with the regulator at anything above 130 bar pressure will not last more than a couple of hundred shots.

I’ve been wondering the same thing with how much more I am shooting. I’ve decided that as long as I wash my hands afterwards I’m good but also have considered gloves for days when I’m putting in work.

The cylinder is made to a maximum standard, as opposed to a minimum. It has been enabled for reduced weight and made the engineering slightly more complex.
Will they eventually go carbon fibre and simplify the whole process? I'm no design engineer, but carbon wrapping is increasing in popularity for HPA.
If you know what the regulator is set at you only need to know remaining cylinder pressure, so the gauge could be located in front of the reg, and change the current filling apparatus to male foster in the same housing. RTI Arms have the male foster, externally adjustable reg, cylinder and reg pressure gauges in the one housing; if they can do it in Slovakia...... (One gauge would be sufficient for fixed reg for most people, my thoughts.) Weihrauch: adjustable reg, one gauge, power adjustable also with hammer.
