If walking into a area you want a walking light thats just barely bright enough to see to walk, coyotes are hunted all the time so if your flashing a bright light around everywhere they will notice.
Make sure to set up to where its not easy for them to get downwind of you without seeing them.

I just wanted a bit brighter, last night I saw some eyes but couldn't make out the outline of the body @ 80yards, not sure what it what.

Hi NotSure2020 - my pennies worth of whether to buy used or to purchase new; to me it really boils down to how mechanically inclined you, the kind of equipment/machinery is readily available to you, the degree of repair or mods you are wanting to implement, and oh yes - how much time you have. For me, the last one has always been a challenge, because though I enjoy working on airguns and the like, sometimes I wonder if its worth the effort? Wouldn't I rather spend the little time I have shooting them instead of working on them?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Springers are on their way out. Our age group is the only ones that shoot them. We don’t have any youth shooting springers , let alone shooting alone.

To do it right you’re gonna have to have a quarter million dollars worth of inventory. No one‘s gonna invest that because you’ll lose money in today’s market.

Hey all,
I need some ideas for new paper target stands for our sight in range.
Nothing that sticks into the ground as its 100% rock.
They have to pack away and quickly be deployed and stowed.
I am looking for ideas on making a new design. Mine currently uses a wood base and upper which bolt together. While this works, its time consuming to assemble 10 and then disassemble them after use.
We use them for our field target sight in range and they have to be stowed away when not in use. I dont weld or have access to one. Looking for cheap, reliable, weather proof stand ideas that I can attach cardboard or plastic board and a paper target to.
We just need to walk out the each given yardage and drop them on the ground.
Something thats already assembled and folds out? Magnets? PVC? Im drawing a blank so looking for ideas here. Google wasn't giving me much for inspiration.
10 stands needed and stored in a 27g container.

This Champion would be cool but way too pricy, I have to pay for this out of my pocket.

I am still learning. I have a YH that I will leave set up at home and the vibration type will work on that. I will try the other above suggestion on my air cooled Toauto air cooled for range transport. I appreciate all suggestions and comments.

Sorry I didn't realize that some may be using the compressor in a more mobile way. My usage of the YH compressor is to refill SCBA tanks. So the compressor just sits in the basement, and I carrying the SCBA tank(s) on the road when needed to refill the airgun.

I have an Element Max .510 and it is a powerhouse for its size for sure….easily reaches 500+ fpe with 310 or 340gr slugs. I just picked up a used Extreme Big Bore .357 too. The Challenger is still a great gun though.

I'm a welder and machinest and I could make a feeder pellet proof, I don't have any idea about squirrel proof but if you use your pellets, I assume that the squirrel probably would be solved..
I don't know where you are located, I'd build one if you sent me pictures of what you want and a drawing with measurements.. you'll pay less for shipping if you can do pirate ship

Noob to this level of airguns. I have been scouring the WTS PCP's and learned you can spend crazy amounts of money on airguns. I started looking at retailers sites....just so much!
I enjoy shooting and it is so nice to be able to shoot in my neighborhood backyard.
My big question is....how do I figure out what I need and can you try out different types of brands and models anywhere local?
I would like to be able to hunt squirrels and nuisance animals. Plink/target. I have easy access to SCBA compressor and cascade.
I am thinking .22 or .25 and around $500 to get started.
Any suggestions?
