GX CS4 Cord Wrap

I'm thinking of removing the cord wrap and mounting the power supply there. Then I'll shorten the wires and everything should be less cluttered. I'll even have a place to stick the GX filter! The power supply has M4 tapped holes, so that part will be straight forward.

But the fasteners used to mount the cord wrap look strange. They look like a variation of a pop rivet but on the inside, it looks like some plastic. I can drill them out easily enough but I'm trying to avoid non-reversible modifications until I get enough time on it to be confident that I won't have a warranty claim.

Does anyone recognize those fasteners?

Say hello. What state or country are you from?

Hello! Levy county Florida west of Gainsville. Been on AGN since June '18. This area of Florida is currently under an "extreme heat warning" never seen one of those issued before, 80* for a low with 78* dew point going up to close to 100* today...99* yesterday, takes a lot to keep me from shooting, usually wind, but this is ridiculous. Welcome to the sunny south!
Welcome and see those all the time here in Tucson Arizona.

GX-E-5K2 PCP Air Compressor, 5800psi

I think a 12L is pretty close to AL80
At 3000 psi, a 12L aluminum SCUBA tank holds about 86.5 cu ft of air. At 4500 psi, a 12 L SCBA tank will hold 129.7 cuft.

Diana  Springer Shooting Technique

This 350 magnum is dated
04-06 so it's from April 2006 which means next year in April 20 years old. I got it from pawn shop . It was very dirty. I removed the stock cleaned everything oiled the blueing , and lube the spring then used my weed eater line to clean the pasty stuff out of barrel. It shoots great I just suck , but will learn from this post then after I do I will post some target pics.

Other  Slug gun

I would be looking at the FX Dynamic line before I looked at the leopard. They make huge power without any modifications and the two I owned were easy to tune and shot fantastic.
When I say “had” I mean I have owned two and they were not what I wanted in a hunting air gun. For that I much prefer the bullpup design. If. You are doing target work and not hunting on foot the Dynamic/Panthera series are very hard to bet.

Umarex  Zelos Mod Squad

I can't read this need English.

Umarex  Zelos Mod Squad

Gave the zelos what she deserved from the factory hah.

1. Tuxing 580 cc bottle.
2. Huben regulator
3. Custom made pic rail and bottle/barrel clamp. Used PetG CF and works beautifully. Even with this cheapo bipod haha

Taipan  Taipan Slash.

It’s comical how you guys assume Taipan isn’t knowledgeable about the effects of twist rates. They haven’t even released the rifle yet. They simply made a statement about power potential. But go on flex your knowledge about twist rates to the guys who built a rifle with a cult-like following. And did it with out fancy marketing or paid shooters.
Literally signed up for an account just to high five you ✋🏼 email made me cringe and laugh

Barra  Barra 1100z Gen 2 in .22

I just got my Barra 1100z Gen 2 in .22 cal a few days ago and wanted to share my initial impressions and see if anyone else has any insight or comments on it. I really scoured the internet and YouTube for information on the Gen 2 and I was only able to find a couple of forum threads on it and only a few videos and reviews - most of which were detailing the .25 cal. With all the praise the 1100z Gen 1 got I figured there would be more hype with the Gen 2 getting a regulator and improved side-lever.

I cleaned the barrel (AEAC's tutorial with the PatchWorm kit is how I clean all my barrels) and now have a few hundred shots through it.

I'd say my biggest observation is that I can't seem to reduce power enough to get the 18.13 grain JSBs flying under 900fps. My hammer spring was 7 turns from flush from the factory and in my opinion way over tuned. Even at only 2 turns from flush I'm still sending the 18.13s at over 900 FPS for the first 12 shots then 890-900 for the next 28 shots before falling off the regulator. It is grouping pretty well at 40 yards with the occasional flyer and honestly I've been firing quickly being more focused on tuning it down than really trying to get the best groups. None of the heavier pellets I've tried have grouped any better despite getting them in the mid 800s or lower. So far I've also briefly tried JSB 15.89, the JTS 18.1, 22.07, and 25.39 as well as H&N 18.13 and 21.14. I've not tried tuning for any but the JSB 18.13 so maybe some of the others might group better with additional tuning later on.

This is the first PCP I've had that I've even really wanted to tune. I have an Airacuda Max, Urban, P-rod, and Discovery - all shot very well from the factory at speeds and shot curves that I liked. I prefer maximizing accuracy and shot count and don't care to chase high FPE or FPS.

In any case I'm really liking the gun so far and am very impressed with the quality and finish for a $275 gun. I'm hoping to get some more range time this weekend and I'll share any interesting results I find.

How's everyone else's 1100z Gen 2 been shooting?

Cross posted to GTA as well.

Still testing .177 slugs....slow motion rabbit vital shot 25 yards

You got a backflip! I've seen 3 of those in 20 years of cotton tail hunting for a golf course. You should get pass thru or acceptible terminal results with your energy levels. My buddy was using 177 pellets at 12 fpe for years and they never walked off. 60 yard shots usually.

Nice video and shot!
I get alot of backflips, the 3rd one did a backflip with a twist https://www.airgunnation.com/threads/3-more-rabbits-for-the-stew-slow-mo.1336570/
