Need help for a PCP

It pains me to say this but, I think you'll find Mavericks too heavy, even my compact weights a bit. My Sapsan is way lighter BUT I wouldn't recommend it to anyone I know, it's an orphan until the Russia/Ukraine thing ends. ON the Mavericks once you get the little details sorted out they are reliable as all get out. You are going to need pressure, IMHO plan on a decent compressor and a 70cf tank. My .22 Compact will get 60 or more shots with a slightly larger tank. Get rid of the 10# worth of optics  and it's not too bad now that I think about it.

Hornets nest

Definitely go after dark !! I've dealt with many of these over the years on the farm / operating heavy equipment & on home sites. My preferred method to anything else ( in the proper area) is a can of starting fluid & a Lighter ! If fire is a problem (or you take ALL safety concerns to heart) go with a least 2 cans of wasp& hornet spray ( NOT FOAM ) & saturate it till the cans are MT! The largest I've ever seen & dealt with would not fit in a 5 gal. bucket! After spraying in early am , the pyramid of dead bees under the nest that evening would have filled a large coffee can. You get most of the nest if waiting till eve. when they rest for the night.
European hornets are active in dark(night)too. KInd regards from Europe.

AEAC Video - Airguns Outperform Real Guns Now - Top NRL/PRS Pros Confess - Rocky Mountain Airgun Challenge - 2025

humor alert, $60k in two years and it only took $107k to do it.

Now the reality check, can they do 1 MOA at 1,000 yards?

Don't dump on me, I KNOW darn well that I'm not in their league, not even sure I'm in the same hemisphere.

FX leopard heavy slugs

Who else has a .30 Leopard with a 600mm barrell? I purchased mine from Utah Airguns and had them tune it for hybrids and heavy pellets. I dont know what the factory setting were since they adjusted it before i recieved the rifle. When it arrived it was set up at 150psi on the reg and micro and macro maxed out. It shot ok at 50 yards but would send some wild fliers every 4-5 shots. They tuned it with Air Impulse 44.6 HBT slugs at approx 940FPS.

HFT Rifle Raw Micro vs BRK Carbine

For what you want probably not but if you already have a .22 you’ may be happier With a .177 for HFT. If you go the Daystate route check with Derrick Wall, Tenacious Airguns. He’ll do a great job of setting it up for you.
Yeah the link was for .22 Huntsman but I meant .177

Tequila Gun PCP

Very nice!
17" = 43cm
That's short! Awesome! 😃

Please, let us know when the semi-automatic bullpup is ready for sale. 👍🏼
What's the aproximate price going to be?

Size comparison with Layla EdGUN

The price would be in the range of GK1 and Mordax.

Is FFP or SFP More Frequent? — At what Magnification Range?

Long Range Scopes over 40x: 10-50x, 15-60x & 8-80x

ALL of them will typically be SFP due to reticle thickness at ultra high magnification. The chart says 4 are FFP but I would bet big dollars that these are limited to 36x and under (I have a couple Athlon 34x that are FFP) and Athlon may have a 40x FFP (nope, checked it is SFP).

If you can find a 50x FFP i'm all in...

There is a good amount of FFPs that go up to 40x.
I have their specs side by side in a table, if interested.

Tequila Gun PCP

The current length of the Bullpup is 17” And the butt stock is full adjustable. The current model is side lever but it will be compatible with the semiautomatic kit.

Now the gun is able to generate 20 FPE@ 3K psi. Using the semiautomatic kit would be able to get 25-27 FPE . The kit includes a balance valve to reach these numbers. I was developing and manufacturing several concepts but all of them the air deposit was empty in the second shoot, the valve was not able to be closed until the air pressure was to low. Finally I can to do work one.

FX Scope for Impact M4

You should probably include some details on how you’re going to use the M4. Shooting paper, shooting varmint or both. Type of reticle you prefer, lighted reticle or not, optical power range, and weight can all factor into picking a good scope for your application. Then of course optical clarity depending on what your doing and most importantly price range. My favorite scope is a Vector Continental 5x30. It checks all my boxes and at the time was a medium budget scope I bought on AGN classifieds.

Other  Milbro Model 70 Series 77 Need replacement rear sight

i found none in the UK
you would be better of posting here
https://airgunforums.co.uk/
the sight is going to be a bit of a Unicorn

a Gamo rear sight could work if the holes matched up not correct but in this case close enough but would it fit
you would have to do some looking to find one and get it down under

What's with the Slug Speed fetish lately?

I think that about sums it up. Additional factors: 1) Ted made a video getting his best accuracy at 1100fps, 2) The South African crew (often, but not always) showcases very hot slug tunes. One of them recently discovered the joys of light 21gr slugs so it has been nice to see that make it into the rotation.

Harsh shot cycle, low shot count, and extensive power mods don't appeal to me. You don't have to shoot over 1000fps to gain the benefits slugs offer vs pellets. 950fps vs 1050 fps is a ~50bar reg increase! I've personally been having fun seeing what I can get out of slugs in the 650fps range.
i used to shoot 17.5 gr nsa with notos at 740 with great results

Western Airguns  Western Airguns Mordax Venom

Super helpful, thank you. Its not that different from a hammer-hits-valve gun in that regard. The "best" theoretical tune would be a crazy high reg pressure with just enough of a bang to open the valve. That would launch a pellet fast with not much air volume. The realities of spring forces, hammer power, and valve opening times means that it's just not practical to get good accuracy that way on most guns. The hammer force makes the gun jumpy and the valve dwell time and air released get too variable for consistent accuracy.

Notos aftermarket moderator options....

As a new Notos owner and new to AGN, I'm loving all this info that is out here for this model! Thanks to all of you for sharing!

Rob
Same boat. The information I have learned in this thread, as well as from a couple of DMs, has been terrific. Great group and I'm happy to be here.
