I’ve bought a few AEA/Bintacs. Build quality is mostly good. Service was okay. I plan to purchase another. Main attraction of their products to me is that some are quite unique that almost nobody else sells. I converted their Zeus to a 12 gauge shotgun. I didn’t care for the S45. No one else makes a tactical gun like the T9/T50. I sold the T9 because it wasn’t powerful enough. The T50 will solve that. It’s the one gun I could use in self-defense scenario capable of putting down medium/large target

yup the 1-17.7 Seneca 22 seems limited to a .435 length projectile at 840 fps.

You should see the next coat. Only took a few minutes. Satin but shimmers from within. A golden glow emanates from under the brown. The fiddleback figure plays "find me". Now here, now there. I’ll video the stock when finished. Best way to show the chatoyance.

Recommended to me by Griffin and Howe stock builder. Dan has taught me a thing or two.

It’s heavy like the Invader. Really sux for semi-auto. It’s not nearly as bad in the full auto mode

I managed to get about 500 shots with.25 cal 34 grain pellets before it acted up. Now doesn’t matter which magazine I use, it hangs every 2-3 shots in full auto. I sent the gun in twice and Hatsan claims they can’t replicate the issue. They are using their own brand of pellets that weigh approximately 25 grains. I’ve ordered some to see if it makes a difference. I’ve owned a few semi-auto air guns from 2 different manufacturers and all had cycling issues. Some pellets worked considerably better than others. After talking to reps from several companies, it seems these type of guns are tuned for very specific barrel lengths and very specific ammo types and weights. Has to do with the back pressure and it seems changing anything can cause the bolt to fail to fully cycle. I tried messing with the magazines and it made no difference whatsoever

Such a wonderful little gun.

Mine is a stick carbine tuned to run 7.5 gr @590ish. Very effective and I love the little Hawke dot.
I had an extra prod shroud that it wears now.

My 1720 wears a 70s elm 160 stock. With the prod TP it runs Supermags @ 650 or so.

I usually just unscrew the pressure gauge slowly and let the air out at a reasonable rate

My buddys delta likes them too. So does my Epoch, much lower preasure on the Epoch though. 890s at 1400psi.

Yeah, OK Waze will be the old regulator. You never know you might need it and it’s always nice to have it. You’ll learn how to replace those tiny little seals. Yes, my two cents.

This is good info. Mine is at 146-150 and shoots the 50 gr 880-890 no problem. Seems to really like 50 grainers too.

Whatever it takes to get clean kills I suppose. But to give myself a frame of reference I started comparing cross sectional area damaged versus bigger animals where I had at least more opinions if not data. I forget the exact area equivalent between squirrels and deer but I remember a 177 hole in a squirrel was within the range of what most consider acceptable for deer. And experience says it works fine. On that sort of basis even a 177 hole would be overkill on a chipmunk.

Is it possible that you over-tightened the gauge, and thus closed off the airflow to the gauge? Those white plastic seals have been known to cause that.

The two hole thing is to replace the old way AA designed the fail safe feature. Put too much air in the old tubes and the tube's end would flare out an release the pressure. You had to replace the tube after that...

The new system just kills an oring.

There is a passage that allows cylinder air to bypass the reg to reach the gauge.

Please bring it just in case. I am going to try and source for a pic rail for my gauntlet.

My Mk2 Crown .22 did not come with any hammer weight.
