I love mine, it is insanely accurate and smacks the steel real good. I took out a squirrel once at 35 yards, dropped it like a sack of potatoes. I’m running a PG4.

I would've bought a dive compressor and scba and a chinesium mini lathe along with a premium level gun and skipped money-pitting crosmans and hand pumping. A dozen polished turds (so to speak) is a big pile of crap with the same price tag in the end as buying 1 great gun with good glass. If you started from scratch now as far as airguns (but you know what you know), what would you do differently? I ask because of curiosity, and to tap into some of your experience. Thanks,
That would keep me up at night, something’s all caddywhompus there. What causes the barrel & bottle to not be more parallel to each other? Never seen it to that degree on a gun before. Just curious.
If the one you recommend @Gerry52 is available in a diameter that fits the OP's scope it is a better idea than the one I recommendedGot one of these for my older Discovery VT-T because, it too was stiff. Made a big difference.
I. Bought a Springer for only $40 from pawn shopBasically, IMHO, the only advantage springers have over pcp's is that no extra equipment is needed- just take it out of the box and start shooting(if you have the eye's for it, you can just use it with iron sights). In my opinion, pcp's are a superior breed to springers-you can leave them cocked for as long as you like, they are repeaters holding 10+ pellets/slugs in a magazine, they are way more powerful and way more easy to shoot precisely, they have zero recoil, and there are a lot more scopes to choose from that will not get damaged by the funky recoil of a springer. Yes, pcp's have to have a pump/scuba tank which adds to both the cost and amount of accessories needed(which may or may not be a problem depending on your personal preferences/wallet size). I have both a springer and two pcp's, guess which one spends most of it's life in the safe?
My eyes, my eyes , I'm blind !! And dead too! This guy has been making a mess of my shop. He wanted me to let him go to save facenope, not tonight!

Beautiful gun. I got two of those earlier this year. One had documentation where it had been resealed and new spring a couple of years back. Visible seals are of proper blue color. The other needed resealing so I sent it out to a reputable airgunsmith and he did the seals and said it needed a spring. Kind of hard to argue from 500 miles away. Here is a FWB from later '60's that looks new condition wise, almost unfired, but the breech/piston seals are shot and lots of spring twang. Do I need to replace the spring as well as the seals? View attachment 582742
It could be the extra washer I added to the reg. What causes the barrel & bottle to not be more parallel to each other? Never seen it to that degree on a gun before. Just curious.
