AirMaks Arms  Krait X .22 Air consumption

Not sure , I thought 5 magazines on 50 bar of air was good.
My bad!
This is a very good result. JaceSpace1369 may not have read exactly that it is about consumption only 50bar for 5 magazines. Such consumption is a dream for me so far.
You are correct I did not 😬. Glad you got it fixed!

N/A  Webley Longbow wood.

Nice Kevin.

I sanded in two coats of oil finish over the last two evenings. Pores pretty well filled.
Needs a few more coats. Then redo the checkers.
The figure is really showing in that wood now. Beautiful! Nice work. Ill be following this one closely.

Other  Gentle Shot Cycle

Having never owned a Red Wolf yet, I would have to say my Ghost is very smooth and very enjoyable to shoot, with a close second to my XR Sniper!
Having owned both you referenced - they are very close to the RW but more clunky in the cocking cycle

Recs for someone to restore old Daisy 880 Ted Williams rifle?

I just finished my older model 880, found all the parts on ebay, [email protected] He has the kits for both the older model and newer models. It depends on which one you have. The older model has a brass tube sometimes steel and the newer models have an aluminum tube,
hope that helps The two kits are different.
cheers

Issue with GX Pump Air Filter

I just attached a block with a gauge on it to the end of the fill whip on the output of the filter. The gauge at the end of the whip did not move until the compressor gauge was close to 180BAR (2600 psi), then it let the air flow and I could see it quickly increase on the whip end gauge until the compressor shut off at 250BAR with the whip gauge showing 3600 psi. So, I guess it's working as it should, but that still seems a really high pressure before it let the air pass and leave the filter!

Just got my Airmarksman Ace slugs

These are what mine look like after rolling around in a tin for a few weeks that gets carried in my pocket or a pouch. (.22 FX Hybrids on left & Daystate Howlers). I wonder why they don't show the same kind of uneven, marred finish.View attachment 585674
Hey Gerry,
I receivedtwo tins of the slugs, and they do not look as rough as in the picture.
They are smooth and uniform…not like tree bark
hopefully, I will get a chance to try them out later

Issue with GX Pump Air Filter

Here are some pictures of what I found when I took the top of the filter apart...

This is what you see when you remove the largest nut.

IMG_5975.jpeg

This is the inside of where the smallest nut fits into the largest. The middle sized seems to be acting as a lock nut for the smaller one.

This is the belleville stack that's inside the smaller bolt.

Metal (pellet proof) Bird Feeder?

Hey all

Has anyone got a link, or can they make me a steel (just thick enough to prevent .17 and maybe .25 pellet damage) bird feeder?

It needs to be all metal, squirrels are eating and destroying the bird feeders that are wood. And completely looting the feeders such that I’m spending half a bag a day on these feeders because they just come and pig out all day while the birds get little.

I looked on Amazon and I don’t agree that some are squirrel proof. So I want a feeder that’s all metal and can withstand pellets of .17 and .25
And a platform would be nice

Have you found that “ One Airgun”?

Does it need to be one rifle....or one family?

I guess my camera was dirty on my phone, and I also need to get my boy to mow the darn lawn!

Issue with GX Pump Air Filter

I stopped it before it hit 150 BAR. Maybe I have never noticed this because I'm typically topping off airguns, so I just never noticed. Today I was filling an airgun that was empty, so starting out at zero on the gun gauge and started freaking out when the compressor is showing 100 -150 BAR and the gun is still showing zero!

Here the Reximex Meta Premium, in 25cal. This one with the optional carbon fibre bottle. IMO a number of steps up on the ladder vs most anything else out of Turkey at the moment, however NOT sans flaws or issues.

But. For the sake of argument. Someone sat down and questioned hammer bounce and came up with this. It´s just a piece of sheet metal and a few screws incl "escutcheons".
Some thinking went into it, it´s cheap to produce. THAT`S what i´m getting at.
The Meta Premium though needs porting to be able to hand the goods, but that done my two MP´s shoot at the same muzzle levels my SL does.
