Thanks for posting this. That explanation he gave was very clear.Did you look at the sear engagement torx screw? Often called the "forbidden screw" for the eaxact reason you describe.

Let us know how things turn out.
Thanks. Nice shooting. This would be your cool season. Hope the healing is continuous.Nice looking dock Crow, hope that’s marine ply.
I haven’t shot any of my 4 air rifles in over a month I think, too busy with bloody doctor appts etc.
So I thought I’d have a face off between my Hw50S and my LGV. Both cold from the safe no warm ups or cherry picking as Mycapt would say. Both 22 cal (that’s all I own) at 20 meters. The target dots are 3/8 of an inch.
The first off the rank on the right was the 50s, 10 shots in all, first shot low, always is in winter next 9 on the money.
LGV up next in the middle, first shot high by about the same distance, next 9 was nearly exactly the same as the 50s.
I think both did exceptionally well, blowing my own horn here.
They are now back in the safe, probably arguing who was the best

Springer guy here but if it was me I would go overboard from a safety standpoint. No warning ehen a tank goes.I recently jumped on the air train. Like last week. I currently have a FX impact M4, Notos , and am ordering a Huben GK1 today. Also, I purchased a GX4-I and a 6.8L tank from Air guns of Arizona. We live on ranch in West Texas and pretty much patrol the ranch nightly. Wither it be changing irrigation in fields, Varmint hunting with friends or my 4 kids. We have quite a few ranch vehicles. We also have a home gun range setup for pistol and LR and either my kids or I are their every day. We shoot burners alot... Having all this in mind, I am worried about having air supply handy. I would like to get some more tanks setup where I can mount them in some of the ranch buggies and maybe one at the range. How many of you that are filling at home worry about the DOT certification? My 6.8 L has it. But I see several on ebay etc. for half the prices that are only CE certified. I realize i would lose the ability to have a shop fill it. But i intend on buying a larger twin compressor for larger fills soon. Just wondering if it's worth the extra money for the DOT stamp in my case. Thanks!
That is some very beautiful country that you are hunting in, I wouldn't last five minutes there, I'm a flatlander!Rough country takes a lot of stamina.
He fired the gun without a pellet
1 year old. I have emailed Air Venturi. How old is the gun? Possible that’s a warranty issue.
Thank you, Zeke. Arizona is lovely, too.Beautiful scenery
Have not as I didnt touch it. There was enough meat on the contact there as seen thru the window while its outside of the action. Seems when hitting the safety to fire or off its contacting the trigger mech and moving it enough to fire it. Maybe it does need more setting there. I can look at that screw and adjust more contact into it and see what that does. I figure its just an adjustment, hoping. ThanksDid you look at the sear engagement torx screw? hi thank you for that, I do know about what to set it to, what we don't know is the screw underneath it's supposed to be turned so many way's but you can't do to much because it mess's with the regulator and won't work! that's the problem I'm having, you say set the pressure bar to 160? there isn't a 160 it only goes to 150 barDoes the gun work without the regulator?
If it does then:
The regulator goes in the tube with the numbers outwards.
The pressure is set by the brass screw head. There is a small notch on the side of the regulator. That indicates the pressure in bar on the label around the regulator.
Set the pressure to 160 bar (2300psi).
If that does not work then most likely the regulator is bad or you have turned the screw 360°
Notch set for 140bar

perfect info!Better today.
I had to spend some time with the sight in and dope chart after replacing my scope.
As for an arms race. The gun is definitely the important part. But unless you spend serous money on a scope you will not get what you want from the gun. I have never been able to range with a scope the between 50 yards and 55 yards before today.
This is two cards with a click of scope adjustment between them. Ten shots from 50 yards.
Scope is zeroed at 25 yards. I aimed at the top POA and the impact is just about 2 mil down. Is that how it is said?
The second long crosshairs, Is that two mil?

although 20 yards is nice to see (zero for many <12 fpe airguns) for a true field target rig comparison, it is the group at 55 yards that we need to focus on for comparison lest we muddy the waters. Make sure to take all the shots from a steady bench as it is important to remove as much of the human factor so we are seeing what the gun can do, rather than the shooter.Ok this was just a first test . Four guns at 20 yards indoors/ outdoors no wind.
Problem is it is very humid. I was dripping with sweat by the time I was done. And shooting from a roll cart . The Diana was not stable so I will shoot the whole thing over on Saturday or Sunday. Depends on the weather.
But I predict this will be the end result also.
20 yards. 2000 dollars is just over 1/4 inch tight group.
For 1000 dollars it’s a 1/2 inch group. I was sweating and the rifle bounced causing the flyer.
The 500 and 200 guns are about the same. Most are under an inch . Aside from the flyers. They will do better at the range with the proper bench.

Clocking a part is sometimes necessary so the gauge and foster fitting line up correctly. You don't want your barrel in the way of your foster fitting , or you won't be able to get a hose on it.I found firewalker on here but don't know if I can pm him yet until my post count gets up. If I shorten the barrel (good info on the choke removal , I didn't think of that) I'm contacting him. Just found an adapter by C88 machining that looks good as well as the bottle off Amazon that someone mentioned. I see now that these parts are round so clocking the adapter may be a non-issue. Really considering this outfit, wish I'd been able to buy the one from the classified here before, that was a deal. Thanks for the info, I'm starting to make sense of it.
I believe the issue comes with the batteries used and how much use they have.Is there enough difference between the V1 and V2 FX pocket radars to make upgrading to the V2 worthwhile? When testing my .177 FT gun my V1 misses shots every so often, so I'm thinking of buying a used V2 unit.
