Have not as I didnt touch it. There was enough meat on the contact there as seen thru the window while its outside of the action. Seems when hitting the safety to fire or off its contacting the trigger mech and moving it enough to fire it. Maybe it does need more setting there. I can look at that screw and adjust more contact into it and see what that does. I figure its just an adjustment, hoping. Thanks

The regulator goes in the tube with the numbers outwards.

The pressure is set by the brass screw head. There is a small notch on the side of the regulator. That indicates the pressure in bar on the label around the regulator.

Set the pressure to 160 bar (2300psi).

If that does not work then most likely the regulator is bad or you have turned the screw 360°

hi thank you for that, I do know about what to set it to, what we don't know is the screw underneath it's supposed to be turned so many way's but you can't do to much because it mess's with the regulator and won't work! that's the problem I'm having, you say set the pressure bar to 160? there isn't a 160 it only goes to 150 bar

. that all im having trouble with because I've put it in my new rifle and the results are a joke

even though it's not funny

all the gun shop's are asking £200 just for them to look at it

so I thought someone maybe able to help me on here

This is two cards with a click of scope adjustment between them. Ten shots from 50 yards.
Scope is zeroed at 25 yards. I aimed at the top POA and the impact is just about 2 mil down. Is that how it is said?

20 yards. 2000 dollars is just over 1/4 inch tight group.
For 1000 dollars it’s a 1/2 inch group. I was sweating and the rifle bounced causing the flyer.
The 500 and 200 guns are about the same. Most are under an inch . Aside from the flyers. They will do better at the range with the proper bench.

although 20 yards is nice to see (zero for many <12 fpe airguns) for a true field target rig comparison, it is the group at 55 yards that we need to focus on for comparison lest we muddy the waters. Make sure to take all the shots from a steady bench as it is important to remove as much of the human factor so we are seeing what the gun can do, rather than the shooter.
Most airguns guns will group okay out to 30-35 yards but after that things will open up.
I'm hoping to do several 55 yards groups this weekend, perhaps sunday if the wind is compliant.

Clocking a part is sometimes necessary so the gauge and foster fitting line up correctly. You don't want your barrel in the way of your foster fitting , or you won't be able to get a hose on it.

Swapped springs a few times and never had issues. This last time though I swapped springs and put the gun back together and had been shooting it and all of a sudden it went off without pulling the trigger. Then it wouldn't catch when cocking. Seems that has worked out but now I am down to when you cock the gun, the safety engages, as soon as you take the safety off the gun fires.
Im sure Im missing something like the order in which its put together or something simple but Im not super well versed on this thing yet so does anyone know what to look at? I took the trigger pack out again last night, checked my adjustments and all seemed good. Put it back in and same thing.

extent of my mods are 1377 , 16.5 inch barrel (just a random measurement guess looks good ) steel breach . Crossman butt . almost any 7 year old can pump it 4 times and shoot 10 yard bullseye's . Or me too for that matter .

P.S. 1992 1377 still shoots great .

I recently jumped on the air train. Like last week. I currently have a FX impact M4, Notos , and am ordering a Huben GK1 today. Also, I purchased a GX4-I and a 6.8L tank from Air guns of Arizona. We live on ranch in West Texas and pretty much patrol the ranch nightly. Wither it be changing irrigation in fields, Varmint hunting with friends or my 4 kids. We have quite a few ranch vehicles. We also have a home gun range setup for pistol and LR and either my kids or I are their every day. We shoot burners alot... Having all this in mind, I am worried about having air supply handy. I would like to get some more tanks setup where I can mount them in some of the ranch buggies and maybe one at the range. How many of you that are filling at home worry about the DOT certification? My 6.8 L has it. But I see several on ebay etc. for half the prices that are only CE certified. I realize i would lose the ability to have a shop fill it. But i intend on buying a larger twin compressor for larger fills soon. Just wondering if it's worth the extra money for the DOT stamp in my case. Thanks!

My Texan 457 loves the bullets I cast from a NOE mold 460-315-RF-AV3 sized to 458 it has pins for a flat point, deep HP and cup type HP. With the ratio of 2#s pure and 1# wheel weight the large hp drops at 280 to 286 and the cup at 315 to320 grains. Here's a 280+ from the 8 point I got last year
