Is FFP or SFP More Frequent? — At what Magnification Range?

The FFP is a great concept for hold over shooting, but I’ve yet to find one that the reticle is useful at low power. Essentially, a FFP 5-25 is really a 12 or 15 to 25. If you can’t see the hash marks at low power, the low end of the variable power is worthless IMO.

If I purchase new glass in the future, it’ll probably be SFP.

What pistol did you shoot today

Today was a fun day…nor including work that skunked…took out the least expensive pistol in my arsenal but it is one of my most enjoyable to shoot..it gets almost 80 shots per cartridge…My Crosman 357 Magnum in .177…played some Dirty Harry Today….Are you feeling lucky….”Make My Day”.…lol…the ones that missed were actually pimples for the real effect…lol

I hope you remembered to count all your shots... 😎

DEW POINT

Glad to see I'm not the only one having hell trying to land x's in hot dead wet air. Hope you get it figured. I've put a fan on my gun when i sit it in the Randolph, if i don't the glass sweats. Gun is 70 degrees, and the inside of my shooting shed is about 120 when i open the doors. Without the fan, the gun will start dripping condensation like a glass of tea.

Tuning  Regulator pressure VS Hammer Spring tension

I have always seen that hammer spring and regulator setting have to be balanced, but what if your gun doesn't have an adjustable hammer spring but has an adjustable hammer throw like my Daystate Revere?
Then obviously, my friend, you have the wrong gun.

new guy to airguns

I like your method for deciding on the gun. Wish I was so pragmatic but even after months of YouTube and Airgun Nation data, I still can't decide. I'm prone to make a cheap first choice only to find out fast that I wanted something nicer - I've done this with guns, bows, boats and fishing gear - it's just my m.o.

I get the saltwater fishing deal. When we go to Florida and sometimes book an inshore trip catching all those different - and very edible fish, coming home to Ky. and catching crappie loses some appeal.

Good luck with that Marauder, I've read loots of good stuff about them.

PCP Pistol  SOLD Weihrauch HW44 .22 cal, $650 shipped

For sale: Weihrauch HW44 .22 cal. Purchased new from AOA. There's one hairline scratch underneath the fill port and a tiny bare spot on the second land of the Picatinny rail (please see the detail photos.) I can touch up the Picatinny rail if you like. I left it as is for the sale as I did not want to misrepresent the gun. Outside of the above mentioned it is in pristine condition. It comes in the original box with all paperwork, manual, hang tag, allen key, two mags and the fill probe as supplied by the manufacturer. It's super accurate, enough to test your target skills and an absolute hoot to shoot. Also great for squirrels, rabbits, starlings, etc. One allen screw allows the moderator to be removed for ease of handling in the field, hearing protection recommended. Less than a tin of pellets (shared with two other guns) have been through it.

Ships double boxed, insured, signature required, CONUS only. A phone conversation with buyer is mandatory prior to purchase. $650 via PayPal, shipping is included.

GX CS2 cylinder head getting hot. Do I care?

I believe GX recommends a maximum of 30 minutes run time which you probably did not exceed. You might want to reduce that but as long as you don't exceed it your compressor should be OK.

It is a totally different compressor but the air lines on my Yong Heng get so hot I have given myself at least a second degree burn before touching them. It's a much more powerful compressor but it gives of a LOT of thermal energy. GX, by comparison, seems pretty tame.

Other  Walther 210

A 210 Jr. Should be 38 5/16 inches, or 97.3 cm from the rear edge of the wood stock to the muzzle end of the shroud.
Typically, the Jr. Models came in the blonde ambidextrous stock, but it is entirely possible that yours is a handed Jr. model.

Either way, that's a real gem that you laid claim to.
Thanks, it is a jr. That’s what was advertized. I would have thought it would say jr on the rifle. I also got a FWB 601 from this guy. The two rifles have simalaries. Crow
