N/A  Ok serious off the wall question

Actually if you take the time and dial in your barrel, after cleaning, you don’t have to worry bout that. I have taken my liner out plenty of times but I marked it the barrel and took the time to find the right spot to put the barrel every time. The only time I have poi issues is when I had a bad regulator. Other than that when my scope is set to is where it’s set to. Byt yes i get people’s concern about that and would be nice to see them make a way to look the liner down somehow.
Please explain how you dial in the barrel. You may note that the barrel is indexed by a key, which is necessary to assure port alignment with the receiver.

Huben  huma reg in huben k1 .25

Ur rifle will likely jam running that low of setting. I would set it at 150-165 and shoot it for awhile to settle in.
hmm.. what type of jam? pellet in barrel or magazine cycling? i’m currently shooting jsb 33gr .25 between 910-920 at this setting and i’ve had zero issues so far.. i’ve put fps consistency as priority over faster recharge rate.
and what’s a “while”for an in-line huma reg to settle into what?

AEA Slugs

Have any of you tried the AEA Slugs? I am most interested in the .25 cal 30.2gr for my Wildcat MK2. The design, if the label is indicative of the actual slug, has me really intirgued with the driving bands that may actually reduce friction in the bore.
They are okay, i tried one tin first a few weeks ago, then ordered more. I had the 49.2 gr shooting @ 940-960fps yesterday in my rti mora .25 cal. I also shoot the 52 gr in my karma eq 30 cal @ 920fps. They are affordable and shoot decent would be my opinion. I do better with altoros, but they are double the cost. AEA are worth a try. 20250722_150943.jpg

Best weight and shape to use offhand?

How often are you shooting off hand, and more importantly how often do you practice?
Weight helps with steady.
I want to shoot more offhand.
I've encountered a lot of hunting scenarious where it would be beneficial to use the gun offhand.
My oractice is not really enough, but I can and Will try it more, but find my uragan2 too heavy.

Maybe I'll try my Dreamline more. I've also asked for an invoice of the bullpup conversion kit l.

Brocock, I would have them create a Ranger and a Concept but with titanium or carbon air tube, chrome lined barrel with carbon fibre shroud and barrel brace, a lightened block, lighter folding stock, all sharp edges smoothed off, machine in longer pic rail, fitted with 3d printed QF silencer. I may even go as far as having it unregulated to reduce maintence issues. AND in PERFECT world the only 0 rings would be the pellet probe seal.. Max weight 4.5 pounds.

It is clear that you do not understand the dynamics of the issue. It really does not matter how the gun is made or how thick the barrel is or the material of the construction. The only thing that ultimately matters is its consistent accuracy. That is the issue. The FX rifles are very accurate on the day, but put the gun back in the carrying case, or remove the barrel for maintenance and then reinstall it and the gun has a different POI Sorry, for a gun as expensive as these are, that is unacceptable. There are many threads in the archive related to this issue as well as many Band-Aids that attempt to remedy the problem. Yet the factory has consistently refused to acknowledge the problem nor made any attempt to correct it.

If I had unlimited money I'd buy the people who better understand how current airguns work, and how to improve them. I'd have them start with .20 caliber.

@Motorhead @thammer etc

I'd fund aerodynamic/external and internal ballistic work and creation of pellet dies for the new barrel with mass production by JSB and H&N.

As a side project I'd bring back a new and improved Benjamin Franklin.

Huben  huma reg in huben k1 .25

i’ve tried 170bar down to 150bar. faster refresh rate but lower standard deviation out the window. i’ve since brought the reg down to 120 and am able to achieve single digit SD.

N/A  Let down

i went thru 4 Notos back when the fad started. problems in areas that were corrected by a member here that
fully customized the 4rd gun and it was a powerful shooter. i think the only thing that was original was the
actions frame. internals and externals were replaced by his custom made parts. probably sank dam near 4x the cost of it on the custom build.
that was about 2+ years ago and my youngest grandson still hunts with it on the farm.

the 1st notos was replaced in warranty and then the 2nd also replaced. the 3rd one was complete junk and i gave it away for parts.

In line moisture filter

That all depends what compressor you are using -filling tanks- filling air guns only-what pressure - many variables. You can do a search on here or ask the question on a new post. BTW I changed the beads to something different then what they had in them. Time will tell as I have always used dive shop air and don't want to give you wrong info.

Huben  Shorty Holster

Just goofing around , I think the GKl is really to heavy for just walking around with holster, My Beeman P17 is just about perfect , Dont worry about the bumps nicks and walls with this gun, Just one shot when you hear the rattlers going off, I keep a pellet in the barrel uncocked... ,Back to the GKl I found an old holster that fits with the folding stock, Rifle in a side holster, LOL. Dont make fun of my foam cheek rest,

Why does everyone want a solid barrel when their barrels win competitions lol if tuned in correctly the barrel works
