The good news is that you'll never have to install that buffer tube ever again.

I think I might have went after that receiver with a file to give it a little room around where the safety goes. It's been a while since I did it.

I put it on last weekend and arrived at the same conclusion I did before; looks good, but is a little harder for me to shoot with the accuracy I want. So took it back off and put the wood stock back on.

It’s a Morseth Hunter that was sold by AG Russell(catalogs). Blade is laminate steel and about 4 1/2” long with Micarta handle. Handmade knife made from late 70s to early 90s.Kinda confusing history so I won’t get into it lol.

It’s a nice knife, one you have to handle to really appreciate. Scored it at a garage sale over the weekend.

Yes as long as it fits. PCPs dont put out anywhere near the 750Gs that I see scopes rated for. I question if they even put out 1G

Are you going by the pressure as stated on the regulator tape?

If so, that is more of an estimated number. The Huma reg tester helps you dial in the actual reg pressure.

If you choose the HW97K from Krale, you'll save some dollars. However, if you choose to buy from Airguns of Arizona, you can get the walnut stock (my weakness) and a better service experience and, most important, a much better warranty. Neither company is a bad choice for purchasing a Weihrauch airgun. Choose your gun and hit the range! Orv.

Geez Luis, if you lived 5/10 minutes from my house I could drop off my GW 9L and Tuxing 6.8L and pay you to fill them from 3000 psi from time to time. Then I can drop the 45 minute one way drive to my Carolina Dive Center.

I spoke with Kieth this morning, he gave me some thoughts. He did recommend to turn on the voice, because it does diagnostic on boot up. Nothing from boot up. I do get a "Fire Fault" error when I try to fire, with and without air. I have re contacted Skout with the new information. There is not a lot of information I could fine.

Awesome that's great to hear! The firing pin malfunction was my only problem with my first gamo arrow, I was hoping they'd fix the issue in the gamo arrow classic hopefully they reinforced it

Life gets in the way! The day after the above post, I checked into the ER. I think I quadrupled my lifetime barf count that day. Diagnosis: gallbladder...6 days later and two surgeries (9 holes in the belly), I get back home (Thursday). Still a little sore today.

But, I couldn't stand it any longer and spent some time today with the EQ (and the Mrod). I had mounted up the new scope on the EQ and needed to get a basic zero on it. Additionally, I set up the Natechrony.

I just fed ~50rds of 25.39 Dead Center pellets thru her with no real tuning. 750fps avg, 2.5 SD...single holes (~12m). Not a bad start. The reg. is hovering around 1900psi, bottle at 4000psi. As this will primarily be a slug gun, dialing the reg. up is in the cards.

The Natechrony is as basic as it gets...and it works as advertised. Very nice data set. Screw it to the 1/2-20 moderator adapter, plug it into a power bank and start shooting. Easy peasy.

I ran the Mrod thru it and found I've been running under 680fps. No wonder the squirrels never hear it...tweaked the hammer spring a tad and now 770fps. Might have to tweak a bit for accuracy, but at 20yds...shouldn't be an issue.

Joe, I. have a TM1000x with the thimble, which is flush against the chamber, as it should be.

It’s definitely not bad pellets, or me. There is a pellet probe alignment or probe adjustment issue that is causing it to load pellets incorrectly into the bore. I know this because I can feel the side lever strain while trying to fully close it when this happens.

I have tried the RDs, same problem.

I think I I’ll send the action back to Martin.

I seen a comparison video with the urban vs the regular gamo arrow synthetic, and one thing i liked about the arrow was it seemed like it was regulated with almost consistent 730 fps, although i did like the higher 900 velocity of the Urban, it did seem to drop faster from 900 to 700 fps i guess after a magazine or 2

I can remember the 60’s and some of the 70’s but the 80’s are very foggy.

My Uragan 3 in 177 is pretty quiet, I don’t detect a ping, the shot is a little loud but it’s currently shooting 10.3 at 1000+.

Congrats! I never got there with my HW50s even with the great trigger. Rough shooter. Moved it along to someone with more patience.
