I believe the the indexing happens only when there is a pellet in from of the valve to allow it to bounce back air?
I know .218 do fit very well in the pellet magazine and depending on what I find, may end up going with them.
Not a bad thing as then I could buy the same .218 ammo for 3 airguns .
I know you have bare sighs but can you even tell if it's grouping at 72?

That is awsome! I am working with my daughter to shoot a few of my FX rifles. she enjoys it so much more than even supressed 22's

Yes, and yes.
1:36 slow twist poly with .177/10.34s at 920ish, or .20/13.73s @ 800ish. Both are mui bueno.

One possible option is to repurpose one....the .20 barrel in my USFT was originally in an Air Force Condor. Yes, still LW, but perhaps AF orders them spec'd differently or something. Or perhaps it's just as simple as barrel to barrel variation and I got lucky to find a good one.

Correct, three frontsight units. The current one by far the best. Hoping to cure without having to pull it off. If I have to remove then I‘ll look at drilling and tapping for set screw like the current version. There’s plenty of room but the metal is soft so I have concerns about it holding up. Advice from Ron and A. G. R. is usually pretty solid.

any thoughts on panthera vs leopard in .30 cal? I just ordered the leopard due to the shorter barrel due to the bullpup design. I was thinking hard about the panthera.

Probably cant related if its shifting from one target to another from the same position.

There are a lot of bubble levels made just for guns, easy to mount and use.

I'd thought about those, but decided on the ones I did, because my grandfather taught me to "imagine a small button on a deer or whatever, and aim for that." That way even if you miss the "button," you still get a solid hit on the target.

This was years before I ever heard the term "Aim Small." And the small 1/4" hole lets me aim 'smaller' than I would aiming for the whole dot.

They look good but add length and weight, which wasn't for me on a 700mm at the time. The tensioner significantly changes the barrel harmonics tendencies too. If you're not doing high power slugs with an abnoxious shot sequence, I might steer people away from it unless they're suffering barrel whip.

Attached Pic was a remachined carbon shroud over carbon tensioner. The carbon shroud does a great job with noise absorption too. Mines an m3 and I know the tension kit fits that architecture.

The way I see the great springers.....they are the true survival rifles.....when all goes to turds, you can't take a PCP.....totally useless; however the good ole Springer will be with you for the journey, anytime, anywhere and at a moments notice! That and a good knife!

Thanks for the suggestion. I've considered getting some of those for other guns with high power. I certainly will now. The heaviest I have is 10.5 baracuda hunters.
