Help picking out regulator?

He wants to regulate a gun not a tank.
No, he is looking to regulate the air coming out of a Benjamin tank he has to feed into Texan SS , presumably in a tethered manner. . . but it sure is confusing because he never used the word "tank," but it is the only thing that makes sense - Benjamin never made a 4500 psi gun, and even if they did it would difficult to use it to feed air to a Texan . . .

GX is now the leader of budget compressors ?

OK, I have been away from airgunning for about 5 years. Yong Heng was the trusted budget compressor at that time, I have got one and it served me well before I sold it. Now I am back and based on the limited info I have seen, GX seems to be the popular choice now. I am looking at the GX CS3-I . I am filling airguns directly, no tanks. Have I missed anything ?

The SPREAD = parallax wheels comparison

Super helpful info here, thanks for putting it together!
Something I learned recently from Mike Nische the inventor of the Thomas Airgun.

this is his take on how to take some of the stress out of ranging past 40 yards-hope I explain this correctly: @thomasair

When you shoot Hunter class, you only need to hold in two places Past 44 yards

#1) determine if the target is greater than 48 yards and if it is, hold it for 52

#2) if it's less than 48 yards hold it 44.

I tried this today and the targets were dropping like flies

He recommends Testing this out for yourself by intentionally hold 2 yards off a known distance and see how or if your hit ratio decreases on the long shot

He was saying people develop a fear of ranging 2 yards off.

In the hunt class it is extremely common for people to blame all of their misses on Miss ranging for the long shots… But in reality it's just a wind call or maybe you didn't hold quite as still or something.

In your opinion would this scope (DNT 7-35x56) be a good option for Air Rifle?

this scope in on sale and i thought perhaps purchasing one as they are currently on sale of $600 and one can opt for a payment plan. my principle concern is the 25yd parallax value. i've no experience with this scope and will be receiving my first Air Rifle this week.

thank you in advance for your thoughts/recommendations.

Is there a QD mount for the DNT TNC225R ?

That one is nice. The ADM was $129 versus the Tier One at $224.

Curious though, reading one of the reviews for the Tier One, one customer says it doesn't fit the 635R.

RAW Rapid  AEA pellets in .25 cal RAW HM1000X question

Anyone try AEA .25 cal heavy pellets (34gr) in their RAW? Mine shoot the JSB MK2 pretty well, but wondering if the AEA version is any better.
AEA pellets are excellent. I personally think they are cleaner looking pellets vs jsb. They are almost flawless. I cant think of the last time I tossed an aea pellet because I didn't like the way it looked. They shoot good at 940-950fps from my rti mora

624 pumps 😱

I shouldn't have, but I did ...
... I did the math ... 😱

When I get the 392 back from Tim, and after I sight it it to prevent shooting the chronograph, I'm going to test at least two different pellet weights.

The first will be the CPHP'S, to gauge the difference between stock and steroid. Since the CPHP'S are almost identical to the RWS SHP'S in weight, the chronograph readings should be identical for the two pellets.

Then I plan on testing the Crow Magnums, which are only 0.3 grains different than the Baracuda Hunter Extremes, the chronograph results should also be very close.

The plan is to take 3 shots at each pump level from 2 to 14 pumps and get an average. Even if I ONLY test 2 pellets, that's SIX-HUNDRED and TWENTY FOUR pumps!!!

My arms, shoulders and chest are sore just thinking about it. 😂
I am interested in low count steroid pumps FPE/FPS or does it not work that way ? i know nothing about this type of gun . Never mind coffee just kicked in and i answered my own ??

RAW Rapid  AEA pellets in .25 cal RAW HM1000X question

The HM1000x I just picked up and finished refurbishing was obviously tuned for FX Hybrid 26gr slugs (9 boxes came with the gun). It shoots them awesome at 45 yards.

But due to the lack of magazines (4 on order from QD_FOX) I haven't tried any other slugs or pellets.

I will be down that rabbit hole once the magazines arrive. I have H&N heavy slugs 42gr and 46gr, barracuda 31gr pellets, JTS 25.39GR and 33.8GR pellets.

Just for completeness sake maybe some AEA are needed too.

14 pumps ? YIKES!! Maybe you should think of the money you can spend (with each pump) on pellets instead of going to the gym ?

Airforce  Texan .308 is completed

🛠️ Texan .308 Refresh – Function Meets Form Wanted to share the final touches on my Texan .308 build. The Trajectron 3625 psi valve is now installed, so no more flirting with the limits of the stock setup. Scope protection? Sorted—ScopeShield came through with a custom-fit cover for the Zulus HD 5-20x rangefinder after I sent the dimensions. Can’t say enough about their service.

Added a wrap to a section of the tank, placed adhesive rubber squares for a cheek rest, and finished it off with a custom camo blend using Rust-Oleum light brown, black, and a touch of matte. Comfortable, clean, and mission-ready. With all I have done before, (MODS ) I can say it's completed, 150gr fps 990, the limit for a 1;14 twist.

I did that once on a 500cc aluminum bottle, never again! That's why I have a compressor, 2 tanks, and my buddy also has 2 compressors and several tanks 😂

Airforce  Texan .308 is completed

How is the new Trajectron Valve working..? They will be apparently discontinued pretty soon, or as soon they will finish what is on stock the are now only $150 at that price im buying one just in case . Every time the had a sale on a Airforce item, one's is finish it doesn't come back to their sell list again they have reduced their AF performance parts catalog for some time now .

Umarex  umarex Komplete converted to HPA???

i think they have come up with a way to savage a bad idea
i did watch the video and the part where he said if the tube isn't centered that is okay
the rifle shoot very well and now has 3 sources of power HPA-CO2-Nitro
is it a winner maybe
Running mine on all 3, 700 + FPS with a 17.6 gr Norma pellet, 860 on HPA and Nitro. I had to get one even though I have many PCPs and air sources to boot, and will be able to help the noobs who have one sort things out.
Top it off the darn gun was accurate enough to invest in better optics and power sources.
